Tender leaves swayed in a gentle breeze that whispered through the quiet forest. Everything was emerald green and lush, dotted with colorful flowers in every shade the rainbow could dream up. It was straight from a fairy tale--it had to be. Everything was too perfect, too quiet. At least, it had been.
"Move those feet, me girl, yer holdin' us up." The voice was masculine, though lighter in tone and spirit. A soft Irish accent rang in the voice though it was rather unpracticed; like someone who had spent a month or two on the isle and had just begun to pick up the accent. Or perhaps someone who had grown up around a true Irish man or woman. Whatever the case, the voices' owner soon broke through the lush scenery--a large male Sailfin Paragon.
Dublin
His lime skin was defined by dark black markings. The sail, though unneeded, was up anyway as a proud display of his species. As he crushed a few jewel colored flowers he hummed a cheery drinking song, bobbing his head to and fro in the usual swaying motion he was rather accustomed to. He did not bother to look behind him for whomever had been spoken to, merely kept his own pace and doing well to completely disregard the beaten path.
"Dublin....please wait..." A much smaller, very feminine voice called after him. This time, the creature who owned the voice was not hard to pick out among the greenery. Her skin was all vibrant yellow with practically glowing splotches of pink and purple and a darker orange belly. The slightly smaller fairy Paragon stepped carefully after the big male as she held her sunset colored butterfly wings close to her body to keep them from being harmed by a rogue branch.
Kahewai
"You don't even know where we're going. We were supposed to meet a Nago hours ago to take us to our new house and we..."The Sailfin she had called Dublin turned back to her, still humming his song. He blinked black eyes to her, and then smiled broadly.
"Well then, bless me." He said softly. "We'll just have ourselves an adventure then, won't we lassie?"
The fairy paragon took a few leaping steps after him to catch up--ever careful to not so much as breathe on any of the marvelous flowers surrounding them. "It's Kahewai, for the last time." her voice lacked every last ounce of annoyance it sounded as though the statement should have had. "We really should find that Nago, Dublin. Our new owner will be worried sick if we don't show up soon."
Dublin gave a hearty chuckle. "An what do'ya think we're even gonna' do in dis new home, missy? Sit like pretty statues? Com'on, there's life callin' our names." He continued onwards. Lowering her headpiece in defeat, Kahewai bounded after him. "Wait, don't leave me too!" She yelled, noting the path that the Sailfin had now completely abandoned.
