Now, I'm sure most of you have participated in pot lucks before.  Or maybe you called it something else?  I've heard many different names for it.  For those of you that have no idea what a pot luck is, though, here's an explanation.  Yayay.

Everyone who wishes to participate donates something into a pot.  Bob donates 20 KS, Mary donates 36 KS, Sue donates a Kitrell, Cassandra donates 40 KS and Yolanda donates a Breeding Room.  All of those donations go into a figurative pot, and all the names go into a hat.  Then, on the appointed date, the pot luck organizer pulls a name from the hat, and whoever's name is pulled gets everything that was in the pot.  Say Mary's name was drawn; Mary would then recieve 96 KS, a Kitrell and a Breeding Room.

...I suppose it's more like a lottery.  Hmph.  Either way. <8D  'Tis fun.

And that's what this is; a pot luck.  You donate something, and if your name gets drawn, you win everything in the pot.  If your name doesn't get drawn, well, you try again next time?

Rules
What you donate MUST have a measurable value.  No art, please, simply because there's really non way to measure the value of such a thing without  offending someone.  So for everyone's well-being, no arts, m'kay? <3

If you say you will donate, You must donate!  No saying, "What, so-and-so won!?!?  I don't like her; I'm not giving her my precious KS. D<"  Nono.  Regardless of the winner, you donate what you say you're gonna donate.

To make donations easier to keep track of, any KS donations will be sent to my account.  I will not steal your KeyStones.  I''ll keep records of how much donated KS I possess in this thread, in my signature, and in my Journal.  If you don't want to donate any KS because you don't trust me, then simply don't donate KS.  I think most of you know that I'm a good person, though, who won't steal your KS.  I just wont.  Got it?  Good. :D

Anything other than KS may stay with the donor until a name is drawn.  I'd like to regulate pets and stuff too, but it'd be a little harsh on the mods to constantly be PM'ing them trades.  If you want to donate a pet, just say so here and keep it in your pen or wherever until it's time to send it to the winner.

You MUST state, whether it be in this thread, via PM, whatever, EXACTLY what it is you're donating.  I don't want anyone pulling an Aces Out.

It is greatly preferred that you post here rather than PM me, but I can respect the want to be anonymous, in which case PM's are fine.

The minimum amount of KS that can be donated is 15. Any less than that will not be counted.  C'mon, be fair.  There is no limit to the size of donations, or the amount of people who can enter.


I think that's about it for the rules. :O  End date for this Pot Luck will be January 20th.  I may not be on that day; no worries.  I'l send out the stuff at the next available time.  As afore stated, I will not cheat you of your KS, I swear on my membership here at Evelon.  So if I'm a day or two late, don't worry.  I'm probably just grounded. XP
