Yes, folks, my contest is now OVER! A huge thanks to everyone who participated! Edgar loved reading all your stories, and so did I!

However, the time has come to judge your stories and decide who won! After much deliberation between Edgar and myself, we have decided that the winner is--are you ready?

Edgar: I really liked the premise of your story. It was very creative, and I found it really intriguing. Your cold open was great, as was the way you let me slowly piece together the story. You got a lot of information in a short story, and I really liked it!

But what's this? Edgar would also like to announce a second prize winner!

Edgar: I thought your story was extremely well-characterized. I kept thinking to myself as I read it, "That's just how little kids act!" The last line was a heart-wrencher, too.
