Meet Umbra.

... Umbra? o30; Where'd you go? Uh... wait... he left a note...

Ah, I see. You might have heard of Umbra, the sneaky little shadow spirit that runs my breedings, pops in every now and then in other locations, and likes pups and kittens alot. Well, according to this note he left me, he doesn't have a real form and he's real mad at me for that. He does have a form, but it's very vague and he can't go running around with a vague, vague body. He's a shadow, but he needs attention!

Now, the rest of the note says that this contest will be to draw Umbra a new form. Yes. Just for good measure, I'll put it up in larger letters:

Well, what exactly does Umbra want? I have no clue. You'll have to ask him, which would be sorta hard as he's lurking around alot...

Oh. I see. The note says that you shall draw him a new body that somehow relates to a shadow spirit! Erm... there's a second page to this, wait... oh! It's the guidelines/rules! All right, let me put that up now...

Rules

-Umbra wants his new form to be somehow look like a shadow spirit. He doesn't want to look like a fire spirit, Pikachu, or the wardrobe from Narnia. He wants to look like some sort of shadow spirit.

-Umbra doesn't care if he looks like some sort of Evelon Pet or a hybrid of them. He doesn't care if he looks like a human-like thing either.

-Umbra wants detailed descriptions or pictures.

Oh? What's this? Umbra is actually giving out prizes?! Whoa. The world must be ending. Anyway, the prizes are as follows:

His apperance may be sinister looking but this guy has a heart for the kits and pups.  =3  This would be his form once he isn't zooming around unseen.  For some reason I was thinking shadow spirit = bat creature o3o  Hope it's to your liking  X3

Many people think Umbra was born/created/appeared one day when the shadows were at their longest, explaining his lithe, thin figure. Umbra's eyes are white, a deep contrast to his shadow of a body. His anthro form that I drew is a draculi. I tried to make the lines visible by making them white. Didn't work out as well as planned. XD;;; If you wanted to just adopt a draculi without buying a custom I'd suggest Chaos. =3 Alright well that's my entry. ^___^

Eeheheh. o3o Yaay lame attempt but whatever. o3o It's Umbra! As... a Hollowheart? o3O But not just any Holloheart, he's really really small and can fit on your shoulder and whisper weird things to you? o3O; Umbra = moon SoOOoo he's got some crescent's in there. P=

Here is my entry, and finished before the ending date too. o3o
Anyways, I decided Umbra should be a... I dunno... I think its a cat of some description... o3o
Sorry about the animation too, I was bored and couldn't help myself.
But, this form of Umbra, like I said, was feline formed, bat winged and has two thin tails, now that I think about it, very much like our own Kuhna, and probably about the same size. If ya were also wondering what that extra random black stuff was around him, Umbra is a shadow spirit, so I just thought I might add some ethereal vapor stuff, so its just like a thin wispy vapor that surrounds Umbra...o3o
