Well, the title pretty much covers what this.  So I'll just go right to the rules.

1. The theme of the Khimera should be natural colors.  Browns, greys, black, white, cream, tan, some blues and greens.  (The eyes and the bubbly parts in the tails and the neck can be bright colors, in fact I like bright colors there.)

2. No add-ons (but patterns or tattoos are ok)

3. You MUST include a picture!  You can use the template I modified Here or draw your own.  Entries without pictures will be ignored.

4. You may enter up to 6 designs, but please don't enter them in separate posts.  Just edit any new entries into your original post

5. Have fun?  

I'll use the wining design for a new custom khimera I plan on buying.

The latest the contest will run is until March 21st (my birthday    ).  It will probably end sooner, about the end of February.  It depends on how many entries I get.

I don't know why, but I just liked the color combinations on this one. -shrug-

Khimera #2
I loosely based it off Eldarado, mainly the armor and liquid. The armor looks like ancient stone with moss on it, and the liquid is supposed to be like melted gold. I might change bits of it later, add markings as stuff. -shrug-

Panda-ish Khimera

The gem on its back was supposed to be the same blue as the tails, buut...I forgot about it. Dx Oh, and it killed the colors too. The purple is supposed to be bright blue. >< I might try to reload it later.

Moon Khimera!

Moon-ish Khimera...just liked the color combos. It also has a crescent moon on its thigh.

Sorry that I only did some cheap gradiant shading compared to the eye. I have this love for coloring eyes, see. |D
This one I went for an organic leaf-n-tree theme, with a little bit of metal in it. I made the eye blue to make it contrast with the green and brown. I hope you like it! X3

The Strawberry Khimera.   I was hungry! I tried to add in green and pink to the creamy rose color of the fur. *worked pretty hard on it* I hope you like it.

It may seem a little pixalized, (stupid paint) but it is using the pattern of a wolf.

Earth Khimera

Earthy colors with bone armor. The brindle and vines could be left off or changed to some other patterns of course. Just a nice touch eh?

Blue and gold versions of a dapple gray with bronze armor. Maybe some kind of symbol on the shoulder plate? Again you could simplify this if you like.

Cafe au Lait

I was going for a "twee little cafe in France" vibe here. The metal is supposed to be very dark brown, but just looks gray.

Gold Clad

This one's supposed to be sort of bronze-y, kind of statuesque. Or "wheaty," if you want to think of it that way.

Mushroom Twilight

The title requires some explanation. The idea for the color scheme came from a game I'm currently playing called Mushroom Men, which has a cool color scheme--most of the backgrounds are really muted, warm colors (like browns, golds, and reds), but to compensate, all the blues and greens are intensely hypersaturated. Ignore the lines; they came from a bad idea I wisely decided to get rid of. The gold-ish body was supposed to be MUCH creamier in color, though...
