The Keystone (KS) is the main currency throughout the lands of Evelon, though you will find a few others. The official symbol of the Keystone is: Image

Polished with the utmost care and efficiency, Keystones are round, black stones the size of a small pebble, with glowing runes etched into them, crafted there by powerful sorcerers. These stones are used for buying pets from other users to purchasing pets from official shops and much more.

How to earn Keystones
       • All users start with 100 Keystones when joining Evelon to help get them started.
       • When posting in a roleplay area (everything under Lambastia and Barakka)
users are automatically awarded 5 Keystones.
       • Participate in events (Raffles, tournaments, contests, ect) hosted by staff or other users.
       • Sell art or adoptables of your own creation.
       • Sell retired or limited pets.

What to do with Keystones
       • Visit the many stores in Evelon's Marketplace for pets, potions, and many other features.
       • Search the Advertisement section for pets for sale that you would like.
       • Buy art of your characters or add-ons for your pet from shops in the Bazaar.
       • The staff sometimes auction off special pets for Keystones in the Auction House, and
users are allowed to auction off pets as well.
       • Spending keystones in the Breeding Area means being able to breed certain types of
pets, giving you the gift of multiple offspring.
       • Purchase adoptables from other users in the Other Adoptables section.
       • There are many other uses for Keystones, depending on any events or sales going on at the time.

Sending and receiving Keystones
       • When you see someone's posts, or when you go to their profile, you should be able to see the "Donate" button. Once you click it, it should bring you to a new window, which asks you how much KS you want to donate. You also have the option of adding a message for the person you are sending Keystones to.
       • If you are receiving Keystones from a user, you will get a message telling you the amount of Keystones they have sent regardless of if they left a message or not. This message is an automatic reminder regarding traded pets and items.
       • When starting a breeding or upon winning an official auction, you do not need to send your Keystones to anyone. A staff member will subtract your keystones from you. If you are purchasing a pet or item from the Marketplace though, you will need to send your currency to .:The Marketplace:. before your order will be delivered. You will also have to send money for official add-on shops, as the staff member running each shop actually gets paid for the add-ons they produce.

• Goddess Tears; GT

Postby Kyrit » 01/05/2015 5:12 AM

~**~

Secondary to the Keystone, there is another, more rare form of currency used among the Lands of Evelon. Known as the Goddess Tears (GT), this currency is much more difficult to obtain.

Goddess Tears have earned their name for their tear like shape, believed to be lesser tears cried by Yepha without the great power within that the Maiden's Tear holds. These crystals come in a variety of colors with slight variation in size, with value being determined by coloration more than anything else. The sky blue ones are held at highest value, believed to be the most pure tears shed by the goddess.

How to Purchase/earn Goddess Tears
       • Unlike the Keystone, users do not start out on Evelon with Goddess Tears
       • Goddess Tears are Evelon's form of cash currency, and the easiest way to obtain
them is by purchasing them. 1 USD is equivalent to 1 Goddess Tear.
       • To purchase Goddess Tears, send your money via Paypal to baalsbaby@gmail.com [option; paying for goods/services]
and take a screenshot of your purchase. Send this screenshot to landsofevelon@gmail.com
with the title 'GT Purchase; [Your Username]'. A staff member will then add your GT
to your account, leaving a notification with it.
       • You may find users willing to trade GT for some pets, such as breedables and customs.
       • Sometimes the staff or a user will host events that offer GT prizes.

What to do with Goddess Tears
       • During sales, you may purchase custom breedables from BaalsBaby for GT that you have on
hand rather than sending her money via paypal at the time.
       • A few of the stores in Evelon's Marketplace will allow you to substitute Goddess Tears
in place of Keystones when placing an order, and sell some exclusive GT-only items.
       • Search the Advertisement section for pets for sale that you would like.
       • Buy art of your characters or add-ons for your pet from shops in the Bazaar.
       • Purchase adoptables from other users in the Other Adoptables section.
       • There are other uses for Goddess Tears, depending on any events or sales going on at the time.

Sending and receiving Goddess Tears
       • When you see someone's posts, or when you go to their profile, you should be able to see the "Donate" button. Once you click it, it should bring you to a new window, which asks you how much KS you want to donate. If you click on the amount of Keystones you have, a dropbox should show how many Goddess Tears you have as well. Make sure to click Goddess Tears to make sure you do no send Keystones on accident. You also have the option of adding a message for the person you are sending Goddess Tears to.
       • If you are receiving Goddess Tears from a user, you will get a message telling you the amount of Goddess Tears they have sent regardless of if they left a message or not. This message is an automatic reminder regarding traded pets and items.
       • If you are purchasing a pet or item from the Marketplace though, you will need to state you are paying in Goddess Tears and send your currency to .:The Marketplace:. before your order will be delivered. You will also have to send money for official add-on shops, as the staff member running each shop actually gets paid for the add-ons they produce.

• Candy Points; CP

Postby Kyrit » 01/05/2015 5:13 AM

~**~

Unlike the Keystone or the Goddess Tear, some currencies are around only during special events. One such currency is the Candy Point (CP). During the fall season, the Seasonal Specialties shop will host a trick or treat event, in which you will sometimes be given the images of candy pieces. These are Candy Points, which do not show up in the Bank.

How to earn Candy Points
       • To earn Candy Points, simply participate in the Halloween event at Seasonal Specialties.
Every day you can post in order to Trick-or-Treat, which will cost 15 Keystones.
       • For every day that you post, you will be sent either a piece of candy or a puzzle piece.
The pieces of candy are Candy Points, and the puzzle pieces are the tricks.
       • Each candy piece is worth a different amount of Candy Points, and a chart of how many each
piece of candy is worth will be posted at the end of the event.

What to do with Candy Points
       • After the Halloween event is over, the Seasonal Specialties store will post pets that are available for purchase with Candy Points. These pets can only be obtained from this shop or from buying them off of users that own them later on.

Sending and receiving Candy Points
       • Candy Points can be traded to other users, but unlike KS and GT, they cannot be transferred
          via the bank feature.
       • To trade Candy Points to another user, simply post in the Seasonal Specialties shop with the
amount of CP you wish to trade and the user you wish to trade them to.

• Battle Points; BP

Postby Kyrit » 01/05/2015 5:13 AM

~**~

Battle Points (BP) are another event based currency. During some Evelon Plots the currency earned has been known as Battle Points. Like Candy Points, it is not part of the bank feature since it is an event only currency.

How to earn Battle Points
       • To earn Battle Points, you must be participating in a current Evelon plot that uses the currency.
       • For every post made in one of the plot areas, you are awarded a certain amount of Battle Points,
which is dependent on the plot.
       • For every battle you participate in you will be awarded a certain amount of Battle Points, which
is dependent on the plot. By winning the battle you will earn more points than if you have lost.
       • Depending on the plot, there may be other ways to obtain Battle Points. This will be specified in
the areas dedicated to that plot.

What to do with Battle Points
       • After the plot has ended, pets will be available for purchase with your Battle Points. This shop
will also include any information on potentially trading Battle Points to other users.
