((I always love large rps, so unless robopup or jazzylily have any objections you're perfectly welcome to join Saroko. Oh, a note for all of you: don't feel rushed to reply. I can rp with myself, and have other things to pass the time, so no hurry to post here. I've had school, Writer's Block...so no pressure.

For a moment all was silence, save for the soft sound of Elneru's breathing. Then, suddenly, a barking sound started up. The next thing Kowei and Lurai knew, a Sun Leawolf was running around and around them, "them"being the Meji, Elneru, Lurai, Kowei, the Hunter, the Kitrell, Fethire, the girl, and her Lucain pup. Kowei was strongly reminded of an excited Sahound. Well, at least the Sun Leawolf seemed friendly, if a bit overexcited.
The girl Kowei had sent Fethire to help had let him hop off her shoulder to the ground, and now he stared at the big, yellow doglike thing. "My, that's one excited...whatever you call it,"he said. A second later his mischievous side took over and he started barking back at the creature, a perfect imitation of its own bark. What the barks meant was beyond him, he just loved imitating the sound.
On the ground next to Elneru, Kowei groaned. She just knew Fethire was going to rile the Sun Leawolf up even more than it already was. As much as she wanted to shut Fethire up, Kowei didn't want to leave Lurai and Elneru alone. Sighing and resigning herself to more trouble, Kowei looked down at Elneru and began to stroke his neck gently. As she did so Kowei continued to talk to him in a soft voice. Who knew, maybe it would help him bond with her.
Lurai sniffed the unconscious Serraptor, then went back to watching the excited wolflike creature. A sudden, soft sound made her glance down at Elneru. He was stirring! Lurai whinnied softly to alert Kowei, who nodded. She too, could see that Elneru was waking. With any luck he'd be too exhausted to start snapping at them, or will have given up on his "kill the Meji"venture.
One eye opened and fixed itself upon Kowei, glaring coldly into her eyes. Elneru hissed at her, but he hadn't the strength to fight her off as Kowei continued to stroke him and speak soothingly to him. He hated to admit it, but the strokes felt nice. Well, at least Kowei was good for something. He still wished she'd leave him alone! Still, all he could do was growl his protests and let her stroke him. Finally he closed his eye to rest, as there was little else he could do.
