The large, intimidating Werecain padded silently onto the platform, his dark purple eyes scanning for others. Shard had only recently left both his pack and his home, deciding that things were getting too boring. After all, there was not much to do. It was just the same routine every single day; he had gotten tired of it all. Once he had decided to leave, a few of his friends tried to change his mind. There wasn't much they could use to convince him, though. He was a pretty high-rank in his pack, though he couldn't care less about that. Before he actually left, he thought about the friends he was leaving behind, though decided that he'd eventually see them again. Now, after a couple of days, he was here at the 'bridge', trying to figure out where to go next.
He figured that he would do alright on his own. Despite his unusually large size, Shard easily made friends, especially with other species of pets. Having scanned the area for any signs of pets or humans, there was nothing for him to do but wait. This was the boring part; he was extremely impatient and could not stand waiting for anything. As he waited, his large ears would occasionally swivel in a different direction when he heard any noise.
