Variety seems to be the style of the western region of Desuna. Much of the south is exceptionally flat and has aptly been named the Vast Plains, as the land seems to roll out endlessly. If you reach the northern ends of the plains though, trees begin to appear, growing larger and thicker until you're surrounded by the Roraldi forest. Trees get more sparse toward the north, unable to grow in the surrounding permafrost.

The larger of Evelon's two western continents, Lambastia is characterized by vast coniferous forests and plains to the south and west, with harsh environments of deserts and towering mountains to the north and east. Most of Lambastia's bustling cities and rich harbors can be found along the southeast coast, where travel to the southern continent of Barakka takes approximately five days to travel to by sea.

Lambastia's ports are known greatly for the export of rice and other grains, wood, salt, and many artistic goods. Travelers from all around the world are drawn to visit the unique and dangerous expanses of the north, though there are many that would rather trek to the Holy City of Aldrect in search of religious enlightenment. Many say that the religion of the Holy Triumvirate was founded somewhere on Lambastia's shores.

You can find more information on many notable locations in the western region of Desuna here.

Holy City of Aldrect - Founded by a powerful man seeking to establish the religion of the Holy Triumvirate, Greinn Aldreiz VI, this proud city continues to thrive today as a city of enlightenment, entertainment, and commerce. The large white stone buildings tower high into the sky, with the largest among these buildings being those of the many churches throughout the city; some dedicated to a single god, some to all three, and even some yet dedicated to other gods than the Triumvirate, though these seem to be less populated. Traders from all over the world come here just to try their luck, and farmers often travel here to sell their various goods and produce. Unconnected to the church, the once grand Imperial Army's forces once made this city their base of operations.

Lya Pointa Cathedral - Often referred to as just Lambastia's Grand Cathedral, Lya Pointa was one a grand cathedral dedicated to the Holy Triumvirate. All that remains now are ruins ever since the religion was rejected strongly in 1823, though a large potion remains structurally intact. While the religion of the Holy Triumvirate is back in favor these days, the cathedral was never restored. Many are too afraid to enter the cathedral to consider restoration, as rumors have spread it has since been used for darker purposes. The most common inhabitants these days are Malphas and Mekkayena looking for an easy meal.

Roraldi Forest - A picturesque coniferous forest, the Roraldi Forests are the perfect place to go for a casual walk or even if you have a more adventurous urge. People come from all over the world to see sights they'll never forget, such as glowing mushroom rings, hot springs, waterfalls, exotic fruits, and trees with leaves that seem to change in opposition of what would be expected for the season. If you aren't careful though, you may find yourself wandering in to some unsafe places, such as the home of an unwelcoming Werecain tribe. Or, if you're lucky, you might find the rumored Talking Tali, said to be smaller than normal Tali with wings resembling those of a fairy Paragon and able to speak the common tongue. Perhaps even stranger are the Glass Trees that grow rarely around the area, aptly name for the crystalline leaves they produce.

Vast Plains - Once home to a range of ancient civilizations, the Vast Plains stretch far and wide as far as the eye can see, carpeted in a sea of short grass and rocky trenches with trees dotted here and there. It is believed that perhaps the ancient civilizations left this area due to radiation coming from the trenches cutting through plains. The wildlife has adapted well to the environment, though many seem to display glowing characteristics, such as the Zipala's horn. Travel near the trenches has been advised against, and those that aren't quick enough might fall prey to Serraptor prowling the plains.
