"Yes, library," Kyrx nodded. The word was familiar to her now that she heard him say it. Since she learned how to speak the language mostly from books, she knew it pretty well, but recalling it in real time was a little more difficult. She made a lot of simple grammar mistakes that wouldn't be present in her writing. She still had a lot of practice to do before it sounded natural.

"Sweet things please, I would like to try sweet," Kyrx said, practically talking over him with excitement. She loved sweet foods, and the humans seemed to create it in abundance. "Creeps sound good," she said, slightly mispronouncing it. This would also be a lovely time for her to try chocolate. Bananas she was actually familiar with. One out of three wasn't too bad. She was already looking forward to trying it.
