"Vidar, can you believe it?! We are actually going to start our adventure now!" Gemma exclaimed. She did a little happy dance while Vidar just rolled his eyes. He obviously thought she was immature.
"You do realize we have only made it to the bridge, right?"
Gemma stuck her tongue out at him and didn't let his mood get to her. He was the one who signed up for this trip. He didn't have to take up Gemma's parents offer of being a traveling companion. Vidar had been kicked out of his family. Gemma and her parents never found out why, because he is less than willing to talk about it.
