Variety seems to be the style of the western region of Desuna. Much of the south is exceptionally flat and has aptly been named the Vast Plains, as the land seems to roll out endlessly. If you reach the northern ends of the plains though, trees begin to appear, growing larger and thicker until you're surrounded by the Roraldi forest. Trees get more sparse toward the north, unable to grow in the surrounding permafrost.

Aleah sauntered onto the bridge, her blue eyes glitering like ice.  Iresh had left swiftly this morning, taking along that annoying pup Gemma.  She had a sence that something was happening, something bad, but she couldn't stop Iresh from leaving on his trip, not just because she felt somthing.  No, he'd never belive her.  She shruged and looked at alll the shops that were lined on the brige.  It's been a while since her last vist here, and the scenery had changed much.  One shop, called "Wish,"  was deffintly new.  Promising herself that she wouldn't buy anything, she ducked inside.

"Wecome."  A quiet voice greeted her.  Aleah twitched her ears foward, until she spotted Meji hovering behind the counter.  "Feel free to look around, Aleah,"  Aleah blinked in unease at the mention of her name, "And learn what you can."  He or she finished.  Aleah tensed and shook her head when the Meji finaly floated around the cornor.  Wired.  She'd always know that they had some sort of magical tricks up their sleeve, but that seemed like a real oddball.  She padded around the rest of the shop.  The cluttered shelves seemed to hold items at randome, with no proper orgonazation.  She wandered ramdomly among them, content to padd amiless around.
It was the fith row that she found it.  The globe was a plain, glossy gray, the color of mist.  The reason it stood out was because the shelf it was standing on was empty, save that it.  She felt her self drawn foward. Fasinated, she peered into it depths, unaware of anything else around her.  She leaned over it, oblivous.  Her breathed fogged the glass, ang she rubbed it off so she could see better.  It was then she noticed the mist was shifting.
