Dia stood on the platform, a bag over shoulder. She sighed, not sure where to go, where to run. She couldn't go back, that was for sure, back to her alcoholic mother and her soon-to-be-father. She was tempted to, but every time she felt like it, she touched the huge purple bruise on her face.
Oh well, that was all behind. Now she had a chance to start over. She was all alone, and it was so hard to trust - Everybody around her seemed to be a potential enemy, and even though she wondered if there might be a kind soul among them who could help her, she was afraid it might just seem that way. She glanced over and saw a cursed Tali, shuddering at the appearance. There was a hollowheart, a penticorn, and so many other animals... Dia felt like the only human.

" something wrong?" a young man in silver and blue knight armor asks walking up behind her, a voltage fellox behind him.

Diana looked at him in surprise. It had been so long since her mother had let her actually speak to anybody, she didn't know how to react.
"Uh... Um... I'm fine..." She felt her bruise burn bright on her face, a huge banner advertising she was lying. She blushed.

" then why does your faces say a different story?" the man asks. ' dan i don't think you should keep pestering her." the fellox tells him telepathicaly.

Diana retreated a little. "Um..." She really couldn't answer his pestering.

"HWAAH!"  thumph A girl of about 15 falls from a large tree next to you guys. "oh! sorry! i didn't meean to eavesdrop on you guys, i was just, uh..." "Yesss you did" hisses the bleeder on her shoulder.

"Shut up, Akuji!" she says emarassed. "Well, i'm Angelica, what about you guys?"

A young girl about 12 comes running form the forest with a Common Draculi behind her.

Common Draculi

While not looking she runs and trips over her own feet and lands face flat into the ground.
Her Draculi looks at her and looks up to the crowd of people and says, "Can anyone help?"

hehe... well i guess we both have clumsiness in common! *pulls you to your feet* I'm Angelica and this is my Dreamsnare Bleeder, Akuji. what are your's and your draculi's names?

"Thanks" The girl says looking quite embarrassed. "My names Sally, and my Draculi is Dusk. Nice to meet you!" Sally says trying to catch her breath. "And what might your bleeders name be?"

His name is Akuji. It means "dead and awake." I've had him for almost as long as i can remember, so i've grown to truly love him. which is why he will be with me for all eternity, bleeders come out of heartbreak, but leave when love is found again, but since i love him, if he leaves, my heart will break again. Which will force him to come back to me. we are bound for life and with him by my side, all is right in my little world!

"Well that's cool." Sally says. "Me and Dusk have been together as long as I can remember too." Sally looks deep into the forest and shudders.
Dusk's eyes follow Sally's and she moves closer to Sally's legs for comfort..

"are you o.k.? What lurks in the shadowy forest that's so terrible? Is that what chased you here?"

Diana slowly backed up a few paces. To many people. To many happy stories and minor discomforts. She contemplated running, but someone might think she was a thief or realize she was just a runaway. If anyone returned her to her parents, she would probably end up dad in the bathtub.

Sally looks at Diana, seeing her discomfort.
"You know, I might not know your name or anything about you but you seem to have a lot on your mind." Sally says toward her. "It looks as if you have a story to tell as well. And as do I. It may not be happy, but as long as you have friends, then you can make it through, right?"

Dusk looks at Sally and shakes her head at Diana, as if to say, "Don't worry, were friendly."

Diana gave a faint, and obviously fake, smile. "If," she said.
