"I know, we should have seen something. And yes, I don't think it's fair either but -" Erika said as she was listened to Jack. "Jack! Get back here!" Mana interrupted. "C'mon, we have to go get him!" Koko said as she glanced at the others and saw jack running down the passageway. "Renside, mind if I borrow your back to sit on? I'll be able to sense where he is. And for extreme accuracy, I'll need to be focused. In other words, my eyes closed and sitting." Mana said as she turned back into pet form and hopped onto Renside's back. She sat down and closed her eyes. "I'll tell you which way to go. I don't think this passageway is going to stay straight forever." Mana said as she made sure to keep focus on no one else but Jack.

Renside nodded and prepared to run after him.
"I'm gonna start running, once you get him on radar tell me where to go from there." He said as he took off.
He hopped that the others would keep.
"If you guys can't keep up with me, you can hitch a ride." He yelled back to the others.
Lily jolted up and held tight to Renside.
"Slow down!" She yelled.

"Okay. Keep going straight until I say something else." Mana said as she clung onto Renside's back, making sure to focus on where Jack was. Erika jumped up onto Renside. Koko picked up Colette and jumped on as well. They all laid low to Renside's back which enabled Renside to go a tad bit faster. "Left and the straight!" Mana said a few minutes later. "Right and then straight!" Mana said about a minute later.

Renside felt as the three hitched a ride.
It slowed him down, but only slightly.
He heard Mana's words, then pricked his head up suddenly.
"What, which way?" He asked.
She had confused him.
Not stopping or slowing down while he waited.
This resulted in him slamming into the fallowing wall.
Lily yelped as she was flung to the passage ways floor.

"I-that way! To your left!" Mana said as she pointed to the left. Erika turned into her pet form rather quickly a soon as Mana spoke. As Renside went crashing into the wall, Mana accidentally tried to hard to stay on, and her having big claws, she accidentally left a few cuts on Renside back. She slid off his back slowly onto the floor, and still shocked, just laid there. Erika went flying into the wall and slumped to the floor, not apparent if she got any injuries, or at least everyone was too surprised to say anything. Koko went sliding off Renside's back, but managing to grab his tail to slow down her fall. Colette however was unharmed completely and jumped off of Renside's back as they came to a stop. Koko, Colette, and Mana were dazed for a few seconds and immediately looked glanced at Renside and Erika. Mana scrambled over to Renside and apologized many times for Rensdie's injury. Koko and Colette scrambled over to where Erika laid, slumped on the floor. "I think she might be unconscious." Colette said. Koko however looked frozen. It was a hard hit against the wall and what made it worse was that it was a direct hit to her head. Koko walked closer still wobbly and kneeled down beside her. "She is, but it's more than just that..." Koko said with a grim look on her face. When Mana heard that, she came rushing over. There was a red tint flowing across her fur. Mana turned into human form again. "I don't believe it. It was all my fault. I-I have to go after Jack myself. I can't let this happen t-to anyone e-else..." Mana said as she glanced over to the rest of the passageway. "I-I should have listened to you Renside. I should have just bypassed this passageway. N-now Erika's injured, and we might not be able to find Jack ever again." Mana said as her fists balled up and tears started streaming down her face.

Renside rubbed his head, not paying any attention to the claw marks Mana left.
He then looked over to see the others condition.
"Is everyone all. . ." He stopped as he saw Erika's red fur.
He jumped to his feet and look at her.
"Do you think she will be all right?" He asked.
But before waiting  for an answer, he turned to Mana.
"No, no, no, no, no Mana. It is not your fault." He replied, comforting her.
He shook his head.
It wasn't her fault, he didn't want her to get upset.
Lily slowly climbed to her feet.
She rubbed her nose as she looked towards the group.
Walking slowly, she stood next to Renside.

Mana was still sobbing uncontrollably. "No, Renside. Ii could have been prevented. I-I could have p-prevented it..." Mana said as she dropped to the floor. "Mana, I've never seen you like this. And I hate it." Colette said as she hopped over to Mana. "Mana, it's not your fault. It's no more your fault than it is mine." Koko said as she moved over to Mana and placed Mana's head on her lap. "Erika should be fine. If it even fractured the skull, she could die. But we need to stop the bleeding immediately." Koko said. "Can you just...heal her?" Colette said glancing over to Erika. "No, I'm afraid not injuries this severe. It would be too risky to even attempt. If my healing process get's interrupted, she could easily die." Koko said as she rubbed Mana's head. The only thing we could do would be to apply a slight amount of pressure and hope her injury isn't too bad." Koko said as she gave her bag to Colette. She started shuffling around to look for a cloth of some sort. "Mana... It should be in the bag somewhere." Koko said.

Renside sat down, looking solemnly down at Erika.
He sighed deeply.
"I will go and find Jack, you guys stay her and take care of Erika. When I return we will head for the nearest exit." He replied.
He knew Erika should be taken to a hospital as soon as possible.
He stood up without waiting for their replies and started down the path.
"Renside, what about me?" Lily wined in a childish voice.
"You stay here and help in any way you can." He replied.
Then turned and walked off again.
Lily scoffed and folded her arms.

Mana bit her lip and shook her head. "Mana, he should be fine. And Renside, thank you for all the help so far." Koko said kindly. "Be safe, kay?" Colette said as she smiled at Renside. Colette started shuffling through Koko's bag again looking for a cloth. "Found it!"Colette said as she walked over to Koko. "Thank you." Koko said as she went over to Erika with the cloth. "T-they're going to g-get themselves killled one o-of these days." Mana said with a small laugh. "Huh? Mana, I don't know if you were all there a second ago, but Renside is going off to find Jack on his own. He'll come back as soon as he does. Then we'll head for the nearest exit." Koko said. "I mean Erika and Jack." Mana said as she nodded. Koko walked over to Erika and put the cloth on her wound. She applied a small amount of pressure to try to stop the bleeding. "I don't know if I can stop the bleeding. I think all I'll be able to do with her wound is slow down the bleeding." Koko said. "Well, better than nothing, right? and Lily, you can be of use too. Just keep watch to see if anything comes, kay?" Colette said.

Renside looked around.
"Where could jack have gone?" He said softly to his self.
He looked around.
The candles flickered as his large body moved past each one.
"Jack, where are you!?" He yelled out.
But didn't get a response.

Lily scoffed.
"What ever." She replied, rolling her eyes.
She looked around.
If something were to happen, what was she to do anyway?

Mana heard Renside call out for Jack. Her head perked up again and she smiled. It was her chance now. Her chance to escape. No matter what the others said, the blame sat on her shoulders - it was all her fault. This thought obviously paid a toll for her emotionally, but nothing that she couldn't get through. Colette and Koko were busy tending to Erika and Lily - thank goodness - was facing the other way. It was the same way Renside had gone. If she could make a get away, she might be able to make it to Renside before they spotted her. She decided to make a run for it and succeeded. Now to catch up with Renside. As if reading Lily's mind, Koko said, "Lily, just stand there. Keep watch. I anything happens, tell us - a signal or something." Koko kept the cloth on Erika's wound. Still, no one had noticed Mana's disappearance.

Renside looked around.
He hadn't the slightest idea which way Jack had gone.
"Jack, it's all right, we will find something. We just need to stick together." He yelled out, hoping that would help.

Lily pouted.
She hated having to do stuff.
"What am I to do if one comes?" She asked asshe turned around.
"Wait. . ." She then said softly to herself.
"Wasn't there three of you over there?" She asked.
She had noticed that Mana had disappeared.
But not that she went after Renside, or that it was Mana that was gone.

Mana was in sight or Renside's tail now. Wow, he hasn't moved that far along...maybe some help might be needed, Mana thought as a mischievous smile spread across her face. She hoped that the other didn't notice her disappearance. "Renside!" She exclaimed (although in a whisper), and jumped on him. "Hiya. Need help?" She asked cheerfully as she crawled up Renside's back and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Colette and Koko had a panicked look on their face as they turned to Lily. Koko glanced around. "Yes, there was three of us." Colette said as she glanced around, scared. "...And now there's two. Mana is too smart, too-too kind for her own good. She must have went over to Renside. She's thinking that this is still her fault." Koko said. "We need all of us here. Lily, if anything happens, just tell us - or more precise, Colette. I'm going to be busy with Erika." Koko replied. "If either of you need anything at all, I'm at your service!" Colette said as she smiled.

Renside flinched as Mana pounced on him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Turning his head around he looked at her.
"Mana? What are you doing here?" He yelled, sounding like a concerned parent.
She was to be helping the others with Erika.

Lily just turned back around.
At least she helped with something.
But she didn't think anything else would happen.
Looking as far she could, she became really bored.

A stubborn look came across Mana's face. "I should, but I can't just stand there. Lily's keeping watch. Koko's caring for Erika. Colette's just, well, I guess...there... in case one of them needs something. And plus, I still have some pretty cool abilities that even they don't know that I have. They're pretty strong too - they might come in handy." Mana said. She stuck her bottom lip out in a pout. "You're not going to take me back, right?" Mana asked as she tightened her grip around Renside's neck a tad bit tighter. Tgis wasn't how she normally acted however - not like a five year-old. She was just in a different mood - sadness, guilt, and eagerness - three things she never felt at the same time.

Koko still sat there, tending to Erika. Colette shifted uncomfortably and a few tears came to her eyes. "How could Mana have...have done this to us? We're worried enough about Erika, an then she abandons us. ...How...why...?" Colette said as she ran up to Koko and wrapped her arms tight around her waist. A few tears streamed down her face. Koko rubbed Colette's head with her free hand.
