((Enter Kronos and Simon))

As the two companions explored the tunnels beneath the Shrine, another two figures were making their way up the mountain. One was a Rathrill, six legs trudging easily through the knee-high snow. The other was a small feline, its grey fur a blight on the white blanket that covered the trail. The kitten, for the most part, was able to walk on top of the snow, but on occasion it would break through the thin crust and find itself up to its chin in the cold stuff.

[Jessari]

After falling through the snow for about the thousandth time, the kitten mewled piteously. "Kronos!" he cried, trying to get the larger animal's attention. Kronos turned at the sound. All he could see was the tips of the Baby Doom Kitty's ears, a sight that elicited a soft laugh.

[Jessari]

Kronos retraced his steps, stretching down with his long, muscular neck to grasp the kitten gently in his jaws. The kitten purred loudly as the Rathril placed him back on top of the snow. Once he was back on his feet, he began rubbing against his companion's legs, something he did only when he wanted something. "Carry me? Please?"

[Jessari]

"Simon," the Rathril sighed, a sound that was filled with playful exasperation, "I thought you enjoyed playing in the snow." Even as the kitten began to protest, the Rathril picked him up in his dextrous front paws and continued towards the Shrine. Simon purred all the louder, snuggling into the warmth of Kronos' chest.

[Jessari]

"I do like the snow," Simon said, with all the honesty of a small child. "I just don't like this much of it. Too cold." The Rathril chuckled yet again, stroking the kitten's fur absently. His thoughts, however, were on what they would do once they reached the Shrine.

[Jessari]

"You'll behave once we get there, won't you?" Kronos asked. He was fairly certain of the answer, with the good mood Simon had been in all day, but with Doom kitties, it was hard to tell. They could switch from angelic to impish and back within unnerving swiftness at times. Simon didn't answer, and Kronos looked down to see that he had been lulled to sleep with the warmth and the rhythmic pace of his footsteps.

[Jessari]

Simon's purring slowly turned to delicate snores, making Kronos' chest vibrate with a silent chuckle. He was getting a little chilly himself, but his fur had been designed to shut out the worst of the wind, and his thick skin resisted the cold of the snow. He watched as the dark outline of the shrine, spotted with flickering candles in the windows, grew steadily closer.

[Jessari]

They were almost there. Kronos gave Simon a gentle shake. "Wake up, sleepyhead." Simon stretched out, his mouth opening wide in a high-pitched yawn.

[Jessari]

Once he was fully awake, Simon looked up at the large building with wide eyes. "It looks scary, Kronos! I don't wanna go in there..."

Kronos gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. I'll be right with you the whole time."

[Jessari]

Kronos set Simon on the ground, then turned to open the large doors. They creaked loudly, and the kitten cowered behind his companion's legs. "I don't wanna go in there. It's creepy!"

[Firetra]

mantra walked into the shrine entrance. For some reason this part of the shrine was apart from the rest of the building.  Continuing the walk Mantra came up to a glowing stone piller. On it was the inscription Only Temple pets may pass on throug this point
Well I dont know what it means but i'll walk thoug it anyway.
So Mantra walked passed it and seemed unfased. untill he walked two more steps. He was then shocked untill he walked back out side.
What was that!! Any way I'm not going back.
Then he walked to the front and went inside.

[Firetra]

SSSSSSSS. the floor is very cold against his scales. He heads faurther into the cavern not knowing whats in there and whats not.
