[Remedy]

"M-my grandma can... punch better... Ooooooooh..." Luke said with a moan as he threw up again.  He seemed to be slipping a bit, like th chains were getting looser.  They move when he moves, Luke thought, realizing that it was very true.  The chains that were tying him up were still connected to the Barghest in some way, and that punch made him a few inched closer to the ground.

[Elektra]

The kid moved a bit suddenly, which wasn't good.  "Drat!  If I move, my chains move..." he mumbled.  This wasn't going anywhere, so instead of abusing the boy, Kalona decided to try and become friends, or well, neutral with each other.  "Ok, look," he said, backing away after pulling his chains back, "lets try and not kill each other.  Okay?"

[Remedy]

"You.. expect me... to trust..." Luke trailed off.  It appeared as if the chains had come completely loose, and he fell to the ground.  Shakily, Luke got up and headed in a different direction.  He didn't feel like sticking around with this maniac.  "Stupid ghost." he mumbled under his breath.

[Elektra]

"Hmph...running away?" Kalona taunted him.  "You didn't even bother to tell me your name, you know."  Settling down, he thought about whether or not he should even bother to go after him.

[Remedy]

"It's Luke.  Though I'm not quite sure why you'd want to know that." he said, still walking off.  His ears moved around like a satelite dish or something, trying to pick up any sound or indication that this thing was following him.  To his surprise, he hard none.  Still, it was a ghost...  He ddidn't want to turn around to give any notification that he was worried, though.

[Elektra]

"Hmph, not bad." Kalona muttered.  Following him in the end, he wondered what exactly Luke was doing anyway.  "Hey, slow down, I'm seriously not going to do anything else."  He had no idea why this kid wouldn't actually believe that he was through with torturing him.  Besides that, he only did it because he was bored.  If Luke would stop and listen, maybe they could work something out.

[Remedy]

Luke shrugged.  Why not? he asked himself.  He turned around and looked right into the beast's eyes.  "What?" he demanded.  He was getting annoyed with this ghost thing.

"How about instead of clawing at each other's throats, we explore together or something.  I mean, it can't be that bad.  And honestly, you looked pretty tough, so I didn't really think it would be that bad if I attacked ya like I did."  Sighing, it didn't seem like anything that he was saying was actually getting through to him, but he couldn't tell really.

[Remedy]

Luke thought about this for a minute.  "Okay, but one wrong move and it's Lykuhna's Lunch, understood?" he said.  Luke looked around, and decided that it might be fun to explore a bit.

[Elektra]

"Jeez, I said that I wasn't going to anymore, didn't I?"  It seemed like Luke was pretty darn agitated at the time, so Kalona just kinda walked beside him.  "So where do you live?  In a Pen, the wild, like around here?  Or do you just really wander?"

[Remedy]

Luke smiled a little.  "I used to have a home with my werewolf parents in Lamenolai, but I fell in love with a Vampire and things went down hill from there.  My girlfriend and I had to leave town, and we live... in a Pen.  It's not really a Pen, but..." he said.  "How about you?  What's your story?  And what's your name, while we're at it?" Luke asked.

[Elektra]

"Well, I used to just wander around, haunting a few people here and there, but I was suddenly sent down to here.  This place is still quite foreign to me, but I'm getting used to it; more or less...  But after a while, I got captured, or adopted, as my new caretaker says.  I live in the caverns, a huge place under the Wilt'no.  Anyway, my name's Kalona."  This was truly getting a bit boring, just walking around.  "So what would you like to do anyway?"

[Remedy]

"Kalona?" Luke snorted.  "That sounds like a chick's name." he said teasingly.  He looked around and said, "I don't know what I wanna do.  It's kinda creepy here.  Or is that just you?" Of course, he was only joking around again, but he heard a soft moan echo through the place that didn't seem to be Kalona's.  He shrugged it off, sure it was the wind or something.

[Elektra]

"Haha, very funny." Kalona muttered.  He had to admit once again though, that Luke certainly had some spunk in him. Most people wouldn't dare challenge a Barghest like he was, especially after Luke had seen what he was capable of doing to his victims.  "Nah, after a while, the creepiness, to me of course, begins to feel like more of a home.  Of course, I do hang around the Caverns in some of the lowest chambers with some of our more, well, criminal like residents, since there are enough to really get a nice party started.  And we're all in the same company when we're down there.  Most of the time, we just gloat and tell stories about our latest accomplishments.  You should have heard this guy named Calder's latest idea.  He went to go look for those rumored Hunter Crystals in Craiss Caverns...not like he'll find any though."


Kalona couldn't remember the last time he had talked so much.  It was kinda nice though, especially now.  But it was a bit eerie as his voice echoed in the room the two were in.  A moan pierced the momentary silence though.  Sure, it could have been the wind, but of course, wind doesn't normally sound like it's in pain. "Hey," he said to Luke uneasily, "I wanna check that out.  It might have been the wind, but I'm really not sure.  I'd like to just make sure, I guess..."

[Remedy]

Luke shrugged.  "Sure, whatever." he said, heading tward the noise.  He looked around the place they were in, watching the shadows for any signs of movement.  The place just gave of a creepy something-is-watching-you feeling.
