A bit confused, Gem nodded. "Yeah, I sing. And I also play bass. Why do you ask?"
Val shook her head. "No, you don't have to. I mean, if you want to you can though."

[Kitsumi]

Chaos looked at Virus and sighed. Obviously he was to engrossed in Val's hair to pay any attention to what his brother was planning. Oh well, he'd know soon enough. "Gem, how would you and Val like to come on the road and perform with us? It's not guaranteed pay, of course, and the lifestyle can be rough. But you'll have a place to sleep, food to eat, clothes to wear...and constant companionship."

[Kitsumi]

Virus was shocked out of his trance by his brother's question. Val and Gem, join them on the road? The idea was...fantastic! They had been lacking female companionship for quite some time now. Having two girls along would make things so much better. To show that he backed up this plan, Virus nodded enthusiastically, his eyes pleading.

[Kitsumi]

Gem stared at Chaos, shocked. Did he really mean that? Surely he was just kidding her...right? But when she looked at Virus, he was nodding so hard she thought his head might fall off! Apparently they really did want them to join! She looked to Val, asking, "What do you think, Val?"

[Kitsumi]

Val jumped up so quickly that she almost spilled her lemonade. She was obviously oblivious to the many people around them, who were beginning to stare. "Yes!" she cried. "Yes yes yes yes yes! I play drums...like majorly uberly good. When do we start? Where do we go first? Ohmygosh I'm gonna be in a band!" She shouted everything so quickly that it was hard to follow.

Chaos laughed. Holding up his hands, he tried to settle Val down. He was painfully aware of the many people watching them. "Whoa, whoa, settle down a bit Val." he said. "We'll have plenty of time to talk everything over. Where are you gals staying?"

[Kitsumi]

Virus watched Val. He loved her enthusiasm. In fact, it seemed that he loved everything about her! Everything he had seen so far, that is. She was so energetic and bubbly. She had a love for life that he hadn't seen in a long, long time. And now, she was going to be travelling with them! That made Virus very happy. Very happy indeed.

[Kitsumi]

Gem laughed at her sister. She was so hyper sometimes. But it was a good thing...some of the time at least. Her hyperness and laughter kept Gem upbeat as well. Besides, it was better than a gloomy, moping sister. Yeah, Gem loved her sister. Especially now that she had agreed to go with Chaos and Virus.

[Kitsumi]

Val finally noticed the people all around her. "Oops!" she said, embarrassed. She sat back down, her eyes still glowing with excitement. "We're not really staying anywhere." she replied. "We're just kinda...roaming." She shrugged. "Why do you ask?"

[Kitsumi]

Chaos looked over at his brother. It was easy to see the lovey-dovey look in his eye. He was totally stuck on Val. Chaos grinned. That was gonna make things a whole lot easier. As long as they didn't get together and then break up, things would be good. In the meantime, everything seemed to be working out perfectly."

[Kitsumi]

Virus smiled. "Oh, that's great! I mean, not that you don't have a place to stay. I mean, yeah, that's what's great, but..." he turned to his brother with a look of anguish, unable to find the right words. Finally, he thought he had it figured out. "I mean, it's great because we have an extra bed in our hotel room not that far from here. Maybe you girls would like to use it?"

[Kitsumi]

Gem smiled at Virus. He was so cute. However, she wasn't into cute. But her sister obviously was. The way she was gazing at Virus...Gem could tell that there was something going on between them already. She was glad that they were going to get the chance to hang around with the guys for a little while. She turned to Val and nodded, indicating that she didn't mind staying with them.

[Kitsumi]

Val clapped her hands happily. "Great!" she exclaimed. "We'll all stay together tonight then!" She turned to Gem. "We've never stayed in a hotel before, have we?" she asked. Then, before Gem could answer, she said, "No, we haven't, I remember. So it's gonna be so much fun!"

[Kitsumi]

Everything was perfect. Chaos was surprised to see that for once, everything was working out for them. It was...well, odd. To say the least. But still, he wasn't going to question it. If things were finally going good, that was fine with him. He was gonna sit back and enjoy it.

Virus almost leapt for joy. "Great!" he shouted. He smiled widely at Val. "You've never stayed in a hotel before, huh? Well then, we'll have to give you the full experience. We'll order room service and everything! It'll be so great!"
