Gem bit her lip hesitantly. "Room service?" She echoed. "But isn't that...a tad expensive?" She looked from Virus to Chaos. "We have pretty much no money. We can't afford room service."

Val's face had lit up at the mention of room service. But then it became downcast when Gem brought up the issue of cost. "That's right." she said silently. "I guess we can't have room service this time. But I'm sure we can another time, right?" She looked to Virus hopefully.

[Kitsumi]

Chaos shook his head. "Nope, you can't another time." Seeing the girls' confused looks, he laughed. "Because you're having it this time. I told you, we make enough money. We'll get you guys the best that the room service has tonight." he grinned. "How does that sound?"

[Kitsumi]

For the first time in her life, Gem did something impulsive. Without thinking, she jumped up and hugged Chaos. "Thank you so much!" she said. "Not just for lunch, or for the room service. But for helping us. For showing us a good time. For giving us hope."

Val hugged Virus. She tried not to stare at her sister as she hugged Chaos. "This is going to be fantastic!" she exclaimed. "Room service, nice guys...how much better can it get?" She grinned. She was a happy person by nature. But right now, she was happier than usual. Much happier.

Virus smiled. Everything was going so perfectly! "You're absolutely right, Val." he said. "Everything is going to be fantastic. I'll make sure of it." He winked, and she giggled. He was becoming quite fond of her giggle.

Chaos smiled at the two girls. "Great." Just then, the waiter came and asked for their order. "Oh, yeah, I'd like to get the General Tso's Chicken." he said. "With egg drop soup and an egg roll." He looked over at Gem. Wanting to make her laugh, he winked.

Virus rolled his eye at Chaos. For once, Chaos was being the charmer! Of course, Virus had no room to say anything, so he simply kept silent. Turning to the waiter, he ordered chicken fried rice. "And egg drop soup. But no egg roll." he added.

Gem giggled. Chaos could be so funny sometimes. She was already finding that out about him. Looking up at the waiter, she tried to remember what she wanted. Chaos seemed to make her forget everything but him. "Umm...I'd like the Princess Chicken and Egg Drop Soup and an Egg Roll please." She said, finally remembering.

Val was so concentrated on Virus, she almost didn't notice that it was her turn to order! Luckily, Virus nudged her slightly, causing her to remember. "Oh, yeah! I'd like the Cashew Chicken please. No Egg Roll. Oh, but I want Wanton Soup."

Once the waiter had left, Chaos looked over at Gem. "So, Gem, how long have you played bass?" he asked. He had played guitar for about fifteen years, so he was pretty amazing at it, and he played bass too. So if Gem needed any help, he'd be sure to give it to her.

Since hte waiter was gone, Virus turned his attention back to Val. "So, how do you get your hair so soft?" he asked. "It feels like...well, I can't even explain it!" he grinned. "Do you do some kind of special treatment on it or something?"

[Kitsumi]

Gem shrugged. "Not that long." she replied. "Maybe five or six years. I just sorta took it up after someone gave me a bass guitar for my birthday." She laughed. "I haven't been able to put it down since!"

Val giggled. "Nope! I just use the best shampoo available. It's called "Glow 'n Shine". It's what makes my hair smell so good, too." Smiling, she held her hair up to Virus. "Which I believe you've already noticed."

Chaos smiled. "Not that long? That's actually a pretty long time." He laughed. "And I know how you feel. About not putting it down, I mean. I'm the same way with my guitar. She's like...my life." he chuckled. "I call her Black Widow."
