"Truthfully, I am fine," she said. Her fleshless face smiled beyond its death's-head grin. "But it might be many days before I can return to Earth. I need rest." She flickered once more, but for now, she stayed put. "Meeko... am happy I met you. You give me hope. And you, Esperanza..."

"Yes," Esperanza agree. "In the Other Place... I will look for you."

"You will?" Her horns perked up. "Will meet again?"

"Yes! Want to know you more. Want... want to know if..." her nose twitched.

"Yes," Dulce agreed. "But I believe we received our answer."

She tilted her head. "We did?"

"Yes," Dulce said. "The Akail... Without knowledge, we gathered together and he, defeated. That tells me... We may not know if we are connected, and how. But... we do not need to know, yet. If we learn of each other, we will be able to do great things. We have power together. If we did not meet Meeko, would not know that." She looked at him again. "Thank you... for everything."

Meeko felt slightly uncomfortable at the praise he received from the two spirits. "You're welcome," he said with a smile. "I'm glad to have helped."

"I'm happy to have met you as well. You have opened my eyes to so many things." And it was true. He hadn't ever encountered spirits before, and Dulce and Esperanza definitely opened his eyes to the other side. It was incredible to know that he could communicate with them as well.

"I wish you luck with finding out what you want to know," he told the pair.

((Okay, sounds good. ))

[Freezair]

"Good luck to you too." She bent her head low. "I believe they were correct, to bring back you. But if for you there was remaining dead... You would make a good spirit. Are kind." And with that, she dissolved into a fountain of tiny, rainbow-colored lights. Most of the monks could not see what was going on, but those with an inkling of what was happening dropped to their knees and began to pray.

"I have to be going also," Esperanza said. "Vaya con los Dios." She too left. A promise hung in the air behind her, however--that somewhere, beyond that veil, she and Dulce would meet again.

Meeko nodded, "Thank you," he said with a small smile. It was an unusual compliment from Dulce, but he appreciated none the less. "Farewell," he said to her dissolving form.

Then he turned to Esperanza. "Farewell," he told the diosol as well. After she was gone, he went on his way back to his home. Today had certainly been an adventure, and he was glad to have met the two spirits. They had certainly opened his eyes further to the realms of the spirit world.
