Okay, a recap:

There are 3 parties: Siren's [Nomos and History], Fire's [E??wyra, Aiedail, Abbi, and Saphira], and Zein's [Vasengii and Dog]; as well as Kris'ra, another Hunter.  A green Hunter by the name of Ha'kai has appeared...

"Oh, alright," the Hunter said to his pridemate. "Though I wouldn't feel right if I left my sister here... So..." he looked up at the crowd before him, those who would give up something dear to them in order to help them out of this place. "If any of you could, I'd like for you to help my dear sibling first. She's really close to me, so I hope you can take care of her..." he said, rather sadly, though the stutter was out of his voice now. And then a little voice at his feet alerted him.

"My name? Oh, my name... is Ha'kai," he tried to smile, feeling odd at mentioning his name for the first in a very, very long time...

Kris'ra smiled gently, flicking stone ears towards the emerald Hunter. "There, Ha'kai-pridemate. You and your sister shall be taken care of peachy-fine. Me an' Ta'anrak are both under the care of a single humanoid; Kheisa. 'Member Ta'anrak? He was one of the Leader's right hands. He's doin' just fine." She murmured encouragingly in Pridemate-speak. Ha'kai seemed to be faring slightly better than when he had first shown up, but with a relative in the conversation now, it seemed he might not be as confident as he could.

E??wyra looked up at the two Hunters and blinked.  Fire looked as though she were debating something, but then shook her head.  "No.  Go on, E??wyra."  The Arkuhna sat at Ha'kai's feet, awaiting what would be asked of her; according to Fire...

Siren looked at the hunter, having already confirmed that she would help his sister if he wanted her to. Nomos looked ready to help, no matter what. They had both heard stories of the terrible costs associated with Hunters, and neither of them would hesitate to give up whatever they needed.

Seeing that everyone had singled out the Hunters, Zein turned into the shadows and departed. Vasengii, a little disappointed, flashed a farewell to the Hunters before departing after Zein.

Dog, however, growled low in his throat. But, he left the issue alone and turned to leave.

Dog: 6

Aie walked slowly out of the temple and signaled to the waiting Abbi and Saph.  "Fire and Lady E??wyra have everything under control.  We would be wise to go home." The Fellox said.  With that, the three pets began to leave the Shrine.

E??wyra approached the Hunter boldly.  "I shall pay the price to free you.  I offer to you... my ability to set eyes on the sunsets, my children; everything in life.  Nothing is more important than this to me." She said.  Fire was amazed at E??wyra's control of this situation.  Did she seriously know what she was doing...?

Siren watched carefully, keeping her eyes on E??wyra. Nomos jumped down from her arms, walking over to the Hunter. He wanted to help any pet he could out, no matter what cost, no matter what danger. He knew Abigail wouldn't be happy with what he planned to give up - neither would he - but he wanted to help, and he knew she'd understand.

Not that he'd know it for long if it came to where he needed to free a Hunter.

Siren stared at Nomos, her beloved kuhna deep in thought. She wondered what he was thinking about...

Fire glanced at E??wyra and Nomos nervously, several thoughts tumbling through her head.  At last, she moved silently away from the Shrine and walked away, leaving E??wyra alone.  She knew that her Arkuhna would understand; she didn't want to see E??wyra lose her sight bit by bit.

E??wyra could feel that Fire had left and sighed.  She knew how soft at heart her trainer was, so she said nothing, but kept her eyes on the Hunter intently.

Siren watched Fire slip out the door. She herself was worried, but she was scared to leave Nomos... At least until she was sure he'd be okay on his own.

Nomos looked at E??wyra carefully. She was so willing to help the Hunter... It was touching.

Nomos sighed. He, however, wasn't as brave. He turned to Siren and shook his head. She nodded and slipped out, as did Nomos.
