Genesis's ear cocked at Firabi's request. He broke from his talk with Cyclone. "Perhaps..." he said. "I will try with you." He closed his eyes and focused on Firabi. He let his mind weave its way into her consciousness. Hello, Firabi. How do you like telepathy? Genesis transmitted. Because you are so close to me, it doesn't take much energy to use thought-speech, so don't worry.

Hello?! Genesis?! Cyclone thought frantically. Relax Cyclone. He is probably thinking of a plan. "Well, Sukai, I suppose while we find our way back, we should keep an eye out for Mekkayenas and..." he paused for a heartbeat. "Hunters..." He shuttered at the thought.

She fluttered her wings, feeling as light as a butterfly.

She smiled wryly at her companion as she thought this, and laughed. She soon frowned again, however, as she remembered the other friends who had been swallowed up by the blackness of the Hall of the Lost.
"So, will we find them? Perhaps we must simply lose ourselves in order to regain what has been snatched away.." she mused, only bothering to speak aloud in case Genesis could not hear her in his own mind.

Genesis laughed. Yes, thought-speech is very interesting, no? he transmitted. And, yes, I hear you! He smiled. Immediately he became serious at Firabi's words. "As long as we stay together, we won't get lost. I assure you, Firabi, we will find them!" Genesis pledged. "I will contact him now." Genesis focused on Cyclone's image, and allowed his conscious to enter Cyclone's. Alright, Cyclone. Are you ready?
Yes, I'm ready. Cyclone answered. How exactly will we do this? I mean, we don't know where each other are, so how can we find each other?
Genesis thought for a moment. He hadn't even thought of that! He kicked himself for forgetting. Hang on. Genesis broke consciousness with Cyclone and turned to Firabi. He quickly repeated the problem to her. "Any ideas on how we lead them?"

Genesis thought for a moment. "Perhaps we could wander the caves as well, marking the walls with something as we go?" Pausing and looking at Firabi, he said, "Perhaps we could use aura?" The Sahound's paw slowly began to glow, dimmer at first and then brighter. In a flurry, Genesis shoved his paw aglow at the wall, and lifted it. A small glowing paw print was left where he had stepped. "Aha! This is how we'll find them!" he exclaimed. "Quick. We need to cover as much ground as possible, leaving these marks on the ground and walls as we go," he said quickly. "I'll inform the other two." Genesis quickly contacted Cyclone and told him of their idea.
Sounds good to me! Cyclone transmitted. When do we start?
