Ebony nodded silently in response to her name, not really paying attention. Eventually, though, she forced herself to snap out of it. Hmm, there was a piece of paper in her hand now. Perun was sniffing it quizically, but nothing went through his thought-speech link to her. The Sahound was like a small child, really- he'd send her non-complex but still complete sentences through his mind once in a while, but nothing more, and his knowledge of things was, in all honestly, somewhat limited. Still, it had to improve eventually, right? Usually, things like this did. After all, before it'd just been single-word phrases he thought in, so he'd already shown a good deal of improvement recently.

Her attention was now fully focused when she heard that, indeed, the eggs were being given away. All right, then- the competition was on. Eggs 2, 4, and 6, hmm? She'd been to the empty shop before, looked at pictures and descriptions of each sort of egg. The type two ones had caught her interest, indeed- they had a rather stunning color pattern, to be honest, and they seemed so... cuddly, generally. This would be quite interesting, indeed. The design labeled with the number four hadn't seemed that interesting, but she still had to admit that anything with that much energy in the egg could be a great companion for usually playful Perun. As long as it didn't try to touch him- that wouldn't end well. And though, again, the type six eggs didn't really catch her interest too much, she'd be glad to get anything.

Suddenly, with a flick of the rabbit's wand, she felt something near her hip. Wait, what was that? Alarmed, she looked down. Messaging devices, hmm? They looked suspicious, but for now, she wouldn't doubt it. Indeed, there were all sorts of things you could run into inside the shrine area. Okay, she'd remember that- send a message if she was in trouble. Somehow, Molly's doubts in her magic didn't seem all that comforting, but she wasn't going to think about that. After all, plenty of people apparently entered the shrine trying to find one of the beasts, and ended up not running into one- imagine the chances of encountering one on accident! So, she'd be fine, then.

All right, time to go! As soon as the word was given, Ebony rushed up the steps into the main halls of the shrine, looking around eagerly. She wanted to find these quickly, but if she hurried too much, then she might miss it, and so her eyes scanned eagerly for detail. Look for something oval-shaped, with bright colors. Stay near me, though. She thought as obviously as she could, hoping her telepathic Sahound would hear her. Okay. The response was quick, but it meant that her companion, though sometimes disobedient, would probably listen for now. She was stunned by the beauty of the main room, of course, but there were too many people in it for her liking. She saw the three exits, of course, and new that it'd be more likely for eggs to be hidden in there, but she would be checking this big room, first.

Perun wandered slightly away- he was at a disadvantage here. He was used to tracking by hearing, after all, yet this place was so full of noise, and eggs made no sound- except possibly the sort she'd heard described as rolling around, but how could one find one of those among all the other chaos? Still, she was going to scan over this room, bit by bit. Her statically crackling companion would generally deter the urge of others to pet his soft fur, but she still felt sorry for anyone who tried to touch his pelt. Quietly, her eyes looked for potential corners for things to disappear into, some sort of a sign, making her way towards the three halls as she did so. Time for some competition. But so far, every little nook and cranny she searched, there was nothing but dust and the typical brilliance of the shrine, none of the enchanting eggs she was here in hopes of seeking out for herself.

She poofed... She just poofed! No question times, no nothing! The meji just poofed! Fin thought, slowly building his anger and frustration with this entire hunt. "Well, this is just fantastic! The frickin Meji just poofs outa here! With only egg numbers... Uhrm.. Man?" Fin muttered sarcastically to his companion absolutely infuriated.

"NO worries, no worries Man. The eggs were #2, 5, and 6." Man whistled. He really wanted to find that Egg five, it had to be his absolute favorite of the bunch, but the other two would be fantastic as well! Wait... I think we have to give them to Molly... Crap. Man thought as his spirits sunk. But oh well! This hunt would be fun! IF not, Man would make it fun for him at leaste. Maybe get a smile or two out of Fin, but that was near impossible so... Ya. "Okay now Fin, lets go hunt down these little eggs!" Man announced, and grabbing a pink and silver tentacle, Man galloped to a side hallway.

..Or rather tried to gallop to a hallway. YOu see, Fin wasn't budging... At all! NO! I refuse to go hunting for these durned eggs.
Fine. I'll just tell Cel when we get home! Apparently Man had to resort to threats to get Fin to go... This would be nothing but fun!
Fine.. But I ain't happy! Lets go.. Fin was grumpy again, but at leaste he moved with Man to the side hallway.

The place was damp and dark, not a very inviting place to be, but every single area had to be serched, as if you were playing hide and seek with a friend. Only, Man didn't chant, count, or call 'Come out, come out where ever you are!' but he sure was tempted to talk to whatever may be in here. After all, the eggs were living weren't they? And also, he had heard rumors of other creatures living here, but they were supposedly very rare, if they were living at all! But nevermind that, Man had to focus on finding those eggs because Fin was very likely not to help at all.

To begin, Man scanned the area for any speck of light (for eggs 5 and 6 were brightly colored), or anything really that wasn't mold, stone, old stuff, or whatever was there normally. To his dissapointment though, nothing seemed to show! So, he started to dart around, getting into any place big enough for an egg, large or small.

Hmmm. In the big room that everyone entering the shrine started in, Ebony couldn't see many places to hide an egg- after all, the place was full of various people, from the monks to the trainer. And, from what she'd heard, the one doing the hiding was the Rollaby, so it wasn't as if he could fly up and hide an egg somewhere high. No, they'd have to be somewhere else, and she decided that the three hallways were probably the best places to start searching. She'd try to hunt through all three, of course, left to right, if she had time. But first, she'd finish looking around here. Perun was wandering around, wagging his tail and sniffing at the assorted trainers, obviously enjoying himself, but still showing some vague interest in searching as he moved from area to area. Most pets, from what Ebony had seen, were practically on par with humans in intelligence, but her Sahound still retained his childlike tendencies as he trotted from place to place.

She looked at the three hallways- each was rather dark, none more interesting than the other. Okay, then, she'd start with the far left. We're going down the left hall, to keep looking for shiny prizes. She thought, and Perun's ears perked up at the mention of something interesting. To make sure he obeyed, she tossed him a treat from her pocket, and now he was most certainly interested in all of this. The hall was dark, the only real light from her companion's static glow, and for a while she was worried. She looked around the stony sides, but there weren't any eggs- nothing but cobwebs and dust in the corners, not something she should take much interest in. Then, however, she saw a slight, glowing light- she must be near the end, wherever this interesting passage might lead.

Then, suddenly, she was in a room, smaller than the one she'd left but still rather large. At the entrance stood a monk, silent and unmoving. Tail wagging, Perun walked up and looked at the man, excited. Then, the smell hit both of them- burning incense, among other things. Ebony looked, and saw that along each wall were several shelves, covered in glowing candles. Some were lit, some weren't. There were people in here, too, but they seemed much more solemn than before. Mourning the dead, perhaps? She couldn't tell. Anyways, time to look around. This place didn't seem too promising of a place to find eggs, of course, but she'd do a quick scan. She didn't want to disturb those mourning, just a quick check. Perun seemed to be busy greeting the people. They're sad and want to be left alone. She explained to her pet, who probably didn't understand fully the idea of loss and suffering yet. Then, she began her quick search.

{{Oh dear!  I've let myself fall behind - sort of  @_@}}

While the others had dashed off ahead of them, Zayn and Niomi had decided to pace themselves.  Zayn knew that sometimes rushing into things could cause slips of minor yet important details.

Before long, they had made it inside the shrine.  Zayn shivered in displeasure, much preferring the cold winds outside.  But he knew better.  Eggs couldn't survive in the cold.  It was only common sense to hide them in a warm building - and a warm building was Basantha Shrine.  The numerous candles placed in the main chamber room, which he called the lobby, could provide supple heat for a small egg.

"Where should we search first, Zayn?" Niomi peeked over his shoulder at his face, he eyes full of anticipation.  Her tail wagged behind her as she waited for a reply.

"I think we should search here.  It's definitely warm enough..." he felt his skin crawl as it still made adjustments to the temperature.  "Maybe over there would be good."

Niomi giggled happily and hopped off his back.  Needless to say, she was anxious to start searching.  She bounded over to a large potted plant, much larger than her.  Zayn followed leisurely.

{Sorry, school essays kept me busy :(}

Eagerly, Iota jumped up and grabbed the sheet of paper in her mouth. She did a celebratory hop, before putting down the piece of paper and studying it carefully. She memorized the names and images of each egg, preparing for later when she started hunting. She had only just skimmed through the list when suddenly the Meji waved her wand again.

"Wow, cool!" Iota beamed brightly, gazing at the device which was now clipped to her. She had an odd urge to press several buttons at once, just to see what would happen. However, she was half-listening to Molly and she guessed that it wouldn't be a good idea. At least, not yet.

When the Meji vanished, the Lucain was stunned. What a trick that would be! Iota made a mental note to try and learn some magic as soon as possible. How fun would it be to just disappear whenever you wanted?
"That was awesome!" She exclaimed out loud to no one in particular, her tails waggling in delight. She grinned at the Khalmar's reaction, slightly different than her own. She opened her mouth to talk again, but everyone started to split off, going their own ways.

Aww...I wanted to talk to them Her smile faded slightly, then reappeared as her positive nature kicked in Still, I should start hunting. All the eggs are so pretty! She went into a slight daydream, thinking of each egg. She knew Egg 4 well-Kabuto had one at the den, and Iota liked to hang around it sometimes. Egg 2 was quite dark, but it had pretty orange markings. Iota loved the colour orange-it was so bright and cheerful, perfectly her. She almost wished she could have been born orange herself. The final Egg, Egg 6, would be quite hard to find. Bright blue shade with a stripe of white...No wonder the Rollaby hid it in a snowy area.

The Lucain stood for a few moments, trying to decide where to go. An idea hit her, and she stepped into a small space. She began to spin round, whizzing so fast until she almost fell over. Stopping suddenly, she gazed at the path in front of her. Bingo. Still smiling, she resumed her earlier skip and began on her way

Okay then, nothing in this little place at the end of the hallway, Ebony thought- and by the solemn attitude that seemed to fill it, she honestly didn't think she wanted to be here much longer. Still, she wasn't sure if Perun would listen to her right now. She saw him sniffing eagerly at people- one man shooed him away, even. Not a good idea. From the wagging tail, it was evident that the little guy must be practically bursting with enthusiasm. She just hoped that coercing him to leave wouldn't be too hard. Let's go. she thought, as clearly as she could. No answer. Great. She waited a while. Eventually, one little girl turned, crying, to look at Perun and shouted at him- she didn't want to be bothered. Finally, Ebony got a sort of grudging response. Okay... In a second, though, Perun was bounding alongside her with his usual energy, one of the traits of his color.

Then, they were headed down the next hallway, and immediately, Ebony was examining it for any signs of eggs. No luck so far. Perun was sniffing around, too, slightly illuminating the hall with his eerie light. One hand idly traced along the hall as she walked. They slipped around a bend, and she recoiled her hand at once- now, the stones were rough and jagged, some little spaces between- perhaps large enough to fit an egg inside? She looked. She wasn't sure. Nothing seemed visible. The hall continued on, bending and twisting. Hey! I found something! Ebony looked up, eager. Then, she saw what it was- just a rock in Perun's jaws. Put it down. It's not what we're looking for. Perun seemed puzzled by the idea for a good, long while, but eventually it seemed to hit him and he continued on, still evidently quite confused.

A light. Hey, was that the room at the end of here, maybe? It was brighter than before, but she supposed that was to be expected- the first room only had a few tiny candles, after all. Maybe this place would be somewhere one could hide an egg, if the hallway was empty as it had very much seemed to be. Stepping in, the room appeared rather large- there was certainly enough space. And near the middle, candles again. Tons of them, all in circles. That was... very strange. Now, she looked around elsewhere. They were everywhere. Near her feet, on the walls, seemingly impossible to avoid. And Perun was full of energy. This was a disaster waiting to happen. You knock one of those over, there will be fire. That's bad. Fire will hurt you a lot. She said simply. Perun looked immensely dissapointed, then sat down at the end of the hall.

Ebony, slowly, on tiptoe, stepped around the candles. Was there anything in there? Anything between these she could find, an egg, perhaps? She knew that it would be a perfect place. Most people wouldn't venture between the wax sticks in the first place- among them, even the brightest colored of smallish items could remain hidden. She headed towards the middle of the circle. Etched into the ground, a strange symbol. To her, it meant nothing. She kept looking. After all, she had eggs to find. For a moment, she tripped out of her tiptoe stance, stumbling a bit, almost falling, but managed to recover. Phew, that was close, indeed. But she was fine- she hadn't hit anything. She wasn't going to burn the whole place down- at least, not yet, of course.

Perun? She questioned in her head, to check up on the telepathic Sahound. No answer. She sighed. Are you okay? Still, no response. He was being stubborn. She checked over at the door... he wasn't there. Oh great, her pet had wandered off. His tendency for disobedience had gotten the best of him. But... he'd come back, she knew it. He wasn't the sort to run off, anyways. She had to keep looking, anyways- there was still a chance of encountering one of the eggs she was here for in this room, and she wasn't about to miss out on it, that was for sure. After all, Perun seemed to have at least some sense of loyalty for her, she was almost certain on that.

As funny as watching Man hopelessly search in such a dank place, Fin had to tell his friend the truth. Man? You ain't gonna find an egg here. 'ts too dank down here, you may wanna find someplace warmer. Otherwise the eggs gonna be dead~ Fin watched his friend deflate, and for a happy moment, thought that they were going to go home... But that was not the case, Man was a diehard perservier and would probably not rest till an egg or something was in his hands. Great.

Alright! Then less go thatta way! Man replied cheerfully, and with his strange surfer swagger (apparently he never got land legs) he practically skipped towards a door at the end of teh hallway.

Which, when he got there, Man flung open, revealing a room of lit candles (one was now dangerously teetering on the edge of its shelf) and a creature. Instant curiousity sprang to his mind, and he ventured towards them, intending to introduce himself.

Hey man! I'm Manassas Man uttered, his surfer dude drawl nice and slow on the 'Hey Man' which could truely get annoying if you listened to it long enough.
((Yeah O3O Anyone in a candle room can erply to this 8D))

Which left Fin to his own devices out in the hallway, dreading going in that door. He had heard the definate slam of the door hit the wall, and then Man, introducing himself to someone unknown to him. The last thing Fin wanted was to meet new people.

So, instead of being a good campanion, FIn ditched Man and went back to the main room just in time to see the lucain walk into a hallway ont eh opposite end. And strangely enough, Fin followed her...

The egg was blissfully aware of the calm that flowed through the room, and of the warmth- sweet, sweet warmth!- that heated it's outer shell. If it could make any noise, it would be a pleasurable one. It wiggled slightly, it's dark colored body resting under a low shelf that held a few candles. It was hidden in half shadows, but it was just glad that it was warm. Warmth was always nice to have when you can't fend for yourself.

Then it sensed a Sahound, and a girl. The egg wiggled slightly. People? Pets?
About you and me: it's plain to see,
We only ever want to stay inside and watch TV,
Because that's just as good a memory,
You're just good company,
And I am finally accepting that.

Remember the time when we stole the whole day?
And nobody knows it, we took it away,
And it will be forever mine,
And it will be forever yours
Now we own the night, and it can't be undone,
We'll never forget how it feels to be young,
Cos it will be forever mine,
And it will be forever yours.

(Wow, am I far behind. I blame standardized testing. Catching up now)

A paper floated down in front of his nose, causing his eyes to cross. Grabbing it, Rowic bounded into the temple. He had glanced at the sheet of paper, and started. Lunasa had told him what the eggs looked like and their corrosponding numbers, so it wouldn't be hard. Pausing, he shook the snow from his limbs. If he never saw snow again, it'd be too soon. Slowly, his eyes adjusted from the glittering white of outside to the warm darkness of the shrine. Picking a random direction, he started off.

Doors of age stained oak invited him towards them. Secrets almost seemed to whisper in the air. Rowic twitched his ears. Father had spoken of knights who went on quests like this. As pup, he thought he would be one of those knights. He was older now, and the hope was buried under years of training bruises. Someday, maybe. Never had he imagined it might happen so soon. Head bent, he started looking. The shrine was huge, and there were many hidden little niches were the egg could be put. He had a search ahead of him.

Perun wandered around the shrine, listening for any signs of life as he headed down the hall. He had heard the girl tell him to stay near her, but that didn't sound fun, so he left. His feet hurt when he walked on these pointy rocks, but he kept on going. Ooh, this was shiny- his light looked all cool with the dark! Happily, he continued trotting on. Eventually, he caught noise, and sped up. Noise meant people or pets. People or pets meant good things. Then, suddenly, he was around lots of light. And people! This was the big room, and there were people and pets there. That was good. He walked around, wanting to say hi, and greeted a few of them with a wagging tail. But after a few seconds, he heard a funny noise. What could a funny noise mean? He could hear things really well. This was interesting. He followed the noise- it was coming from the tunnel farthest... that way. The one he hadn't seen yet. Maybe there was something good down there? He went to find out.

Oh great, her own pet had left her. And now, Ebony was all alone. Still, she had to keep hunting among the candlesticks, of course, looking for any sign of an egg. But each place she looked, there was nothing. This area was completely empty. Besides, she was certain none of the rolling, moving eggs were here- those would've knocked down a candle by now, leaving the entire place ablaze. And yet... one of the types of eggs said to be here, she'd heard something about it. It... appeared in warm places. No, that didn't work- it couldn't move of its own accord once it appeared, after all, and the Rollaby could've hidden it anywhere he pleased. There was one potential clue that wasn't as great as it had first seemed. Really, she didn't have a choice now but to go find Perun, to look somewhere else. Stepping with perfect precision, she made her way back to the hall.

After a rather uneventful walk back through the halls, still searching for any of the precious eggs, Ebony was back in the main room, looking around at all the other trainers and monks, all sorts of activity. Perun could be anywhere in this. Now, the hunt wasn't just for eggs, but for her pet as well. This was going to be... not so fun. Oh great. She didn't like being around so many other people, after all, and yet now she'd have to search amongst them just in hopes of being able to be reunited with her pet. Hopefully, she let out a little plea inside her mind. Perun, you there? Get back here!. To her surprise, she got a distant reply. Yes. I'll come. Good, that was a disaster averted. She waited. And waited. Finally, a familiar blue shape emerged from one of the hallways, looking at her rather neutrally. You find anything? She asked. Nope. Okay, but... she hadn't gotten a full look of the candle room. Maybe she should go back there.

Perun reluctantly in tow, she headed back, eyes scanning the hall. Some of the eggs moved. Perun would hear those ones, right? She knew Sahounds had excellent hearing- sound was their area of expertise. And, since most people would search a main room, a hallway would be a perfect place to hide an egg. But as she looked at the rough walls and floor, illuminated by the dim glow of static sparks, she saw nothing. My feet hurt. Eventually, she heard the mental whimper of her pet. Indeed, the floor seemed a bit rough. If she looked ahead, she could see a pinprick of light- a hint to the array of precariously arranged candles ahead. Okay. You can wander a bit, but be ready to find me when I want you back. And, with that, the canine was gone in a bit. She followed the dim glow of the approaching room.

Impatient to find her pet, she hadn't really searched well along the walls before- she'd been near the middle. Time to look there. Stretching, bending, tip-toeing her way between everything, she scanned the shelves along the walls, illuminated in orange and yellow glows, and the spaces between each wax stick she struggled not to hit. Then, she caught movement. The flickering of a flame most likely- oh no, had her arm brushed one of the candles? Her left arm extended slightly in a measure to keep her balance, after all- alarmed, she turned to see. The flames seemed the same. But, though she couldn't see clearly, she thought she saw something- what was that? Probably just wax drips, but... It was black and orange, like everything around it. Black and orange... That was the color of one of the eggs! Indeed, the shape seemed just right... she'd found one.

Now, the hard part- grabbing it. The way she was positioned, feet splayed oddly and barely able to avoid knocking something over, she'd have to lean to reach it. She didn't really think she could get any closer, either. Could she bend that way without hitting the ground? In the corner of her eye, she saw Perun watching from the hallway, tail wagging. He looked tempted to step forward. Oh no, she'd found an egg, but this still had all the potential for disaster. Straining, she slowly bent over, fingertips extended. This was the type of egg she most wanted, too! Perun. Don't move. She said. Still, he was anything but fully obedient, and she could see him hesitating, wanting to come join her... Quietly, she spoke to the egg, if it could even hear. "Hey, eggy... don't move, please. I'm here to help you. Don't want you to fall."

The egg wiggled slightly as it touched on the consciences of the two. It was warm on the shelf, but it liked the feeling of other beings there- it just made it want to get out of the egg more. It wiggled again. He could feel the person moving closer- he had no idea what this person was like, but it liked the feeling of it's conscience. The other one was too far away for him to really feel it being there, but he could just sense it through the life-form that he thought was near it, from how easily it could feel it's consciousness. It wiggled once more, and an end began to approach the end of the shelf.

Perun was interested. He saw lots of lights. Lights were shiny- he liked lights. And the girl. The girl was a person, he liked people. And he saw her reaching out to touch something- he could hear it wiggling with his acute hearing. Was that a good thing, too? He wanted to find out if the shiny with the lights was good. But the girl said no. He did what he wanted, though. Walking among the lights could be a good idea. He began to move forward. Ow! One of the lights hurt him. Bad light! He growled at it angrily. They weren't good lights like him. But there were lots of them. He didn't want to be near these bad things. And so he stayed. Perun's thoughts were always simple- they could best be compared to a small child, perhaps six or so. Concepts like fire and candles and eggs and such were foreign to him- not his sort of knowledge. Still, he understood the idea of pain, the fact that pain was bad, and the concept of avoiding bad things, so for now, probably much to his owner's relief, he was staying back. Mind you, the fact had the potential to change if he convinced himself that the lights would behave now, but for the moment, the choice was made.

Ebony, meanwhile, was struggling to get to the egg. Her legs were far apart, and she stretched backwards awkwardly. Her legs were slightly bent at the knee, her neck twisting to see the object and one arm extended while the other tried hopefully to achieve balance. The body was not meant to twist this way and still stay upright, and her legs were hurting because of it. Meanwhile, even worse, she saw the egg wiggling. Moving and moving... if it fell, it would break or light on fire, or something bad would happen. Now, it was almost at the end of the shelf. That meant it was closer to her, of course, but also closer to falling. Her knees trembled with the effort of balancing, and she let her left hand rest on the shelf for support. Hopefully, it was sturdy enough to hold the extra weight, if it could hold all those candles and the egg. Now, her right arm stretched over, just a little bit more, come on...

Her fingertips brushed against the egg, and with another effort, it was in her grasp. A one-handed, light grasp, however, and she still had the effort of getting back to her feet. Not good. Slowly, she moved her head to face forwards again, arms behind her, one balancing herself and one holding the egg. It better not try to wiggle again. With a push from her tired left arm, she tried to get herself back to her standing position. She struggled to stay up among the maze of flaming wax sticks, but it seemed as if she would fail. She reached both hands together, barely managing to clutch the egg despite it all, and pulled herself up, still shaking a bit. Okay. That was good. But she felt as if she'd managed to twist her right ankle, and she still had to make it to the door of the room. Oh, great. The struggles here just never went away, did they?

Okay. Time to try getting to the door. Step by step, Ebony stumbled towards the exit to the room. Finally,
exhausted, she was there. Phew, good. But Perun... oh no. He looked excited, tail wagging. As if he was about to run up and great her. NO. The light-sticks are bad. Stay away. The sudden stern tone of the first word seemed enough. Perun stopped, tilted his head. Ebony stepped out of the area full of candles. Then, he sniffed at her happily, tail wagging. Disaster averted. Ebony had the egg in her hands, too. Suddenly, though, she remembered the device she'd been given. She had to use it to tell whoever was running the hunt that she'd found something. She picked it up, looked at it. So she sent messages with letters. She'd never been gifted with technology, but she managed to send a message anyways. found egg- ebony. There. Short, too the point. What should she do now?

Re: EGG HUNT{Group 2!}[P]

After a bit, Man realized that the person and the now recognized Sahound hadn't heard them, and were intent on something admist the candles. It was most likely an egg of sorts, and not wanting to seem like an egg stealer he backed slowly and quietly out of the room.

For an instant, Man's hopes were dampened. That was one out of three eggs, which one, he had no clue. But there were still more eggs out there! Well.. Thats what Molly had said, and they could be ANYWHERE! Ugh, Man was starting to feel frustration for teh first time. Usually things came naturally for him, and not having the easy calm of the rushing water in the waves was very disconcerting to Manassas. Yet, this mini depression didn't last long, with Man, optomism always ruled supreme in the end, and his hunt was continued.

Which lead him to a very different problem. Now where would he search? He had lost Fin, and Man didn't know his way around this maze of caverns, oh he would get lost if he didn't find someone quick to buddy-up with! So, trying to stay on course, Man returned to the main hall, and waited for someone to say hello.

Meanwhile, Fin was bored trailing this lucain. She didn't seem to really be going anywhere interesting, and it didn't seem like she had figured out that he was there yet. Might as well introduce himself if he was going to be any relief of boredom aorund here! Fin reached out with a single tentacle and tapped the lucain on the back, Uh-hem. I'm Fin and quite frankly I was wondering if you might be any help to ease the impending boredom. He was a bit short, but suprisingly eloquent in his manner, usually he was just casual with an edge...

The egg was grateful of the warm hands that clasped it. It rubbed it's head against where he thought the person's palm was, feeling the touch of her conscious strongly now that they were almost in contact with each other. It wiggled a bit, then was still. Warmth radiated off of it.

Molly flicked open an eyelid, and rolled said eye with extra annoyance. She hoped that this was not a pointless page. She sat, but it continued to buzz. A monk eyed her with a hard stare, and she quickly pulled it out of her jacket and checked the message. egg found -ebony. Oh! Good. Her wand slid out of her sleeve and she tapped it against the floor, then her nose, and with a whispered, "list!", her egg checklist appeared in front of her. She tapped the wand in her opposite paw, and the pentip slid out. She put one tally on the bottom of the list, as Ebony had not said which egg. But it didn't matter- someone had found something!

(Eggs will be sent out at the end of the hunt. Be sure that when we finish you send me which eggs you found. I will double check this list, and you will get them shortly after, hopefully. :))
About you and me: it's plain to see,
We only ever want to stay inside and watch TV,
Because that's just as good a memory,
You're just good company,
And I am finally accepting that.

Remember the time when we stole the whole day?
And nobody knows it, we took it away,
And it will be forever mine,
And it will be forever yours
Now we own the night, and it can't be undone,
We'll never forget how it feels to be young,
Cos it will be forever mine,
And it will be forever yours.

I did not make my avatar.

It seemed like a forever Man waited with no prevail. It just didn't seem like anyone was social this evening... Which strangely dissapointed him as he headed out a random hallway to search for an egg. Better not waste any time at leaste, then some eggs may never be found! And that would be such a shame! Even if he didn't get it at the end of the hunt.

The hallway ended as a dead end, with just a few small greenish glowing runes. Manassas who was naturally curious instantly saw them and strained his neck to get a better view. It seemed that they were only partials, which (again) was too bad. And so, Man was forced to continue his lonely little optomistic hunt.

He searched every nook and cranny of the dead end not even daring to over look a place, which he was sure he did when yet again Man hadn't even seen a speck of something. "Here eggie eggie eggie... Come on, eggie if you can hear me why don't you wiggle around some? Please?" Man called softly, trying to sound assuring and good-natured for Man was determined in thinking that even the smallest of beings (eggs) could hear somewhat, or catch up on meanings. Now all he had to do was wait.
