A very strange place indeed, this Shrine to the Holy Triumvirate is nestled within the icy peaks of the Fe'gan Mountains. You will find the warmth of spirituality here, together with works of great sculptural design based on the Holy Triumvirate religion. (+2 Fame)

Famfrit looked over to his son, an ear going back as he lifted a brow, his tails swishing with a quiet, concerned sort of curiosity. "Reven..?"

The celestial Lucain shook his head slowly, looking to his father as he brushed aside some hanging vines, stopping after reaching a moss-covered ruin of a well. "Sorry dad, it's Zeke for now. I figured if Xenev is more like Reven it'd be best to stay out for a while." He had a special case of multiple personality syndrome, and he had the notes written between him and his other personality, conversing as to which one should be the active one for this excursion, to prove it. "But..what did you want?" His voice was soft and friendly, and with Famfrit, the usual edge of ego was gone. This was his parent, after all.

"Listen..I know you haven't seen your siblings before..or met your..other father, but..if you have second thoughts at all, just let me know, and we can go home, or you can, I'll understand. I'm sure Xenev will, too." His voice was delicate, as though he were treading on eggshells. He knew he wasn't, but he was always considerate like that. He paused to stare through the dense jungle, feeling a bit clostrophobic. He preferred wide open spaces to this place, but he could do it.

"No, it's alright. I'd prefer to mean him, really..there's a lot we can share. Plus, I know you're nervous about being sent here for treatment, and knowing you, I'd rather you not go alone." He chuckled a bit and stopped just at the end of the stone tiles near the shrine. Not much farther to go, now. "I'll stay with you for a while, talk with him, and let you two be after treatment starts to avoid any 'embarrassment,' and I'll be back soon after it's over." Famfrit was as relaxed and gentle as they came for the most part, but Famfrit could get emotionally dependent on those he cared for..part of this was to help Fam achieve his goal of a truer independence.

He had found it odd that his father of all beings had agreed to treat Famfrit. Sure, Famfrit was the other being that he himself had been created from... but he wasn't of the same group as Xenev. This intrigued Enlyet Anment to no end. He wanted to figure out what was so special about a normal Lucain. That said, Light, the nickname many of them tended to call him by, had quickly agreed to greet his second father and keep him busy while the other got things ready. They hadn't known for that long of a time that Famfrit would be coming. Didn't even know that he'd be bringing one of the other children along with him as well.

As the two of them stopped at the end of the tiles they would see the quizzical Lucain pacing back and forth, ears lowered and his tails flicking back and forth behind him. His ears perked up though, paws stopping dead in their tracks as his head rose as well. Finally. It seemed like Famfrit had arrived. He would finally get to find out what was special about him. Get to see why they were letting him come there, when usually they preferred to stay hidden in the shadows.

Crystal blue eyes widened slightly at what he came to see. He had been expecting to see the parent he hadn't seen in so long that he couldn't even remember, but for a second... he wasn't sure which of them it was. The scent from the other Celestial Lucain was much like his own though, half and half, so it was quickly decided which one was his father. "Famfrit?" No delight of 'father,' 'dad,' 'daddy,' or any other thing that one would usually see as a sign of affection. Of course, Light had probably been raised so that he didn't even see the Malamute and Sundancer Lucain as a parent of any sort.

"Famfrit and...?" He had begun to walk about again, this time circling the two of them a few times. "A sibling perhaps? Or maybe you're the child of one of the others who foolishly ran off and had kids." Well, he did seem a tiny bit similar to Myxed's two girls, what with the blue colors and all, but that could easily be linked to his own blood line as well. "Is this really supposed to be one of those.... family reunion things I've read about or something?" Tails flicking about, he was still circling, analyzing them over and over. "I'd say you seem to be missing a member if so. It's not too likely that you'll be seeing Fyuri either. Not a very.. smart thing to do."

(( c: I couldn't resist a playful scuffle. Sorreh. ))

Ezekiel and Lenore, however, had grown up receiving a great deal of affection and guidance from Famfrit, and had developed that familial bond. They both had their distinct personalities, Ezekiel and Reven took after their father's eccentricities and tireless drive towards a goal, towards wanting to achieve and gain recognition, but while he was a different kind of Lucain, one drawn to the light, he was gentle as Famfrit was in a reserved sort of manner. Ezekiel wasn't as driven as Reven was, though.

Famfrit gave Zeke a playful grin and ruffled the fur between the younger Lucain's ears. Zeke was too old for this, but he didn't mind it. The affection he still got from his parent, he noted, was something that not everyone got. "Come on, you're too professional about it.~ I know you and Reven seem to have this deal going on, but he might be able to find somethin' that'll help you remember." Fam's black-lined lips pulled back in a grin.

Zeke lifted a brow at Fam's sudden expression: ears back, tails wagging profusely, and the grin on his face. "Yes, well I'm so used to s--!!!" He was suddenly cut off as Famfrit surged towards him to grab him in a half-nelson, one arm locked around the neck as the other padded and furry hand rubbed the digits between his ears. The blades on his shoulder blades crackled in surprise but he kept them still otherwise to keep from harming the elder Lucain as he writhed and let out a few grunting sounds as he struggled and tugged against Famfrit's arm to try and get out of it.

Famfrit just laughed and grabbed either of his ears gently to tug at, careful not to actually hurt him. Zeke tried to lean away from the hold and pull Famfrit's hands free, but Famfrit just threatened to start an all-out war again with his laughing  "Hey--hey! Argh...Nnnn--Look, over there!" Zeke notioned towards the other celestial Lucain.

"Not this time!~" He laughed and continued to taunt the other Lucain until teal eyes happened to glance up and see the other one. He let out a sound and left Zeke alone immediately, ears pricking towards the other. His scent wasn't entirely foreign, as he remembered how Xenev smelled and this Lucain's scent was quite similar to him.. "Oh..um..hey there. What can I do for ya?"

(Hehe. S'okay~ 8D)

... Did this man even know who he was...? The two of them had gone about with their foolish behavior, acting as if he hadn't even been there. Neither of them had replied to a single word he had said. 'What can I do for ya?' How could he just say that after Light had rambled off with all of those questions? Was this what normal beings were like? Did they always ignore those that were speaking to them? Questions, questions, and more questions. It seemed like those were some of the few things he'd never run out of. That was Enlyet Anment at heart. One could say he was always seeking for... enlightenment. He wanted to know it all.

Light let out a huff, stopping in front of Famfrit. "Are you Famfrit or are you not? I have been told it is.... rude not to answer when spoken to, and rude is characterized as a... negative trait." He turned away from the two of them, walking away and walking back. Honestly, one could almost think of his moments as similar to that of an animal in a cage at a zoo that keeps walking along the wall of its cage, as if thinking that the walls would just disappear. Could he not stay still for very long...?

"If you aren't Famfrit, you shouldn't be here. You'd probably be killed. Well, even if you are Famfrit, I'm unsure of what Xenev's conditions are. You could end up dead anyways." Pacing, pacing. "I'm unsure of what his reaction to you bringing one of the others will be..." He stopped for a moment now, eyes on Zeke. "Shouldn't be here, unless you want to be turned in to one of the experiments. If you're really one of my other siblings, you should feel lucky that you stayed with Famfrit as a child. Fyuri will hate you just for that even."

OHGODOHGOD.
I was in such a hurry cause we were going out.

...

TO SEE X-MEN. <3
Gambit is win. Such win..the world will never see again.
Plus I got my cartilage pierced. That was a bonus.
Will post tomorrow. c: ))

"See? You really should pay more attention." Ezekiel shrugged the elder Lucain off and smoothed out his fur, nodding briefly to the other Celestial Lucain.

"Oh..oh, right! Yeah, I'm Famfrit..sorry 'bout that, I got too carried away. But yeah, this is your brother, Zeke and your other sister Lenore's still back home." He let out a short, sheepish sort of chuckle after responding to all he heard his child ask, like one would use when they got caught stealing from the cookie jar and tried to brush it off with a joke. One ear flicked with a small shift of the blades coming from his shoulder blades. It was an odd sort of silence, like when a parent finally found an orphaned child. A mother always knows its child. Even if he hadn't seen Enylet in forever, there was still that primal bond. For the Triumvate's sake, he carred the pup for a while, birthed him and raised him for a few weeks until he was old enough to go home with Xenev. Question is, while a mother always recognizes it's child, would the same be true in reverse?

"You can call me Fam though, or whatever else you like.." With a silly grin, he folded large arms across his chest as he watched the other pace and listened to him continue talking. The news was grim, but one, he'd prepared for it, and two, while he was a bit..disheartened and frightened, he'd never show it. He didn't want Zeke to see his parent be afraid of trying new things, to see it was good to swallow pride and fears in order to better oneself. Well, he didn't think anything was wrong with himself, but Klaus urged him to go, and he liked to see her happy, too. "I know..and I understand. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't prepared to subject myself to that." That was Famfrit for you, constantly putting others before his self. Klaus knew him well, as did his children, and they knew when he was upset, and saw how frustrated they could get when he pretended nothing was wrong, but they shouldn't worry about him. He'd get over it, and besides, he felt so selfish when he thought about telling them. They shouldn't have to carry his petty burdens.

Ezekiel lifted a brow, an ear going back in contemplation as he listened quietly to the exchange, keeping a careful eye on the other two Lucain. He knew better. Famfrit was worried and afraid, but he was too defensive and selfless like that to tell anyone. In itself, those were good traits, but Fam took it to excess, and it worried those around the house when they saw him mope in his room while he worked himself up into rebounding and coming back just as cheerful as ever. But there was always a sad note to what he said.

Then this other Lucain, his brother, was saying he shouldn'tve come. True, perhaps, but he was curious. He wanted to know. Hell, he had a right to know. He highly doubted he'd let Xenev get away with running test on him and using him as a guinea pig like his father was willing to do--in some ways, it was crazy, submitting to the Triumvate knows what for the sake of others..

Zeke shook his head slowly, then, with a strong but not at all harsh tone, interrupted Famfrit before he could say much in response to the last bit. Fam blinked and looked at his boy with a mild bit of surprise, but otherwise just let him talk with a low chuckle as Zeke's tone softened to it's usual indifferent mildness. "I'm hoping his reaction will be good enough that I might gain something from the meeting. I'm sorry Fyuri will react as such, but it's of no fault of mine which puppy went with whom, so she'll have to live with it. If she doesn't react so harshly, then I'd love to talk with her and yourself."

He stopped and took a deep breath, contemplating the last words.. "I am your brother, and I'll stay with Famfrit until the process begins unless otherwise asked, but I will not be made an experiment out of, rest assured.

Famfrit made a slight face, his indecision clear on his face before hunkering up and treading over to Enylet, looking him over in a curious way. "Zeke, don't sass your brother, he's doing you a favor." His head pulled back a bit as eyes went a little wider before a hearty smile spread across his black lips and he threw an arm around his shoulders and gave him a one-armed hug as if he'd known him all his life.

"Aside from the colors, you look more like your father..but I remember when you were born~" Zeke lifted a brow at Famfrit, how open and impulsive he was, and kept an eye on Enylet, curious how he'd respond as Famfrit, keeping an arm around him, held out both hands..maybe seven inches apart at most. "I went into the clinic often to make sure everything was going right..it's not normal for me to be able to carry pups, and I always made sure I had a sonogram taken, especially after all your legs developed since one of you just wouldn't stop wiggling around and kicking, especially a little while after I ate something you didn't like. Oh! And I had to get a Caesarian section, and they took you out first and just fawned, and you were about that big, the biggest one. You started wiggling and whining right then, so they cleaned you off first and swore you'd look just like me." He tilted his head, pouting his lower lip somewhat in an approving manner. "They were just a little off, but I think you still turned out fine.~" He was tempted to say more, but he bit his tongue, thinking it better not to add that last bit about these four being the result of an experiment on himself. 'Might pour salt in the wounds.

Zeke just rolled his eyes and tread over towards them. Famfrit was trying to welcome Enylet, but in a..cheesy way. He didn't say anything on it, though, as he was contemplating switching over to Reven.

Famfrit.... Zeke... Lenore.... He'd try to remember those. Names of those he did not see often did not tend to stay in his mind though. If they were just someone he had meet a few time their names tended to just slip right off. Honestly, if Xenev hadn't reminded him of Famfrit's name and what he looked like, he wouldn't have known that had been him. Obviously there wasn't some trigger in his mind that yelled out 'This is my other father' like Famfrit had instantly been able to figure out who he himself was.

Head tilting to the side, Enlyet listened to the older Lucain. Fam....? No thanks. He'd stick to Famfrit. Shouldn't get too attached to something that was just going to be turned in to yet another walking experiment. Even if said walking and talking experiment was the one that had given birth to him...

He had stopped pacing for the time being, listening to his siblings. Foolish... He thought that he could really stop Xenev from using him if he wished? Did he think that Fyrui would eventually accept him for what he was? He should have listened and just left when given the chance. Even if Xenev didn't touch him, that wasn't a promise none of the others would. They didn't even have to be one of the scientists to try to get their paws on the halfling. They'd try to use him as a tool, testing what he could do.

Light's train of thought was soon derailed as Famfrit threw an arm around him and started rambling. His eyes widened slightly, a bit unsure of how to react to this outcome. Was he supposed to hug him back...? No... That didn't feel right. Shoving him off didn't feel right either though, even if he did barely know the man. Instead he just tensed a bit, ears pushing down against his skull. Did Famfrit really think he even cared? He did know that they came from an experiment. He had been told by Zionex, one of the other scientists of the group. "Could you.... let go of me, Famfrit...?" His eyes shifted to look toward the door. "I suppose we should head inside before he thinks you're lost..."

Sorry, had ta work yesterday, and mom puts a timer on the laptop. I got home too late to post. :3 ))

Zeke's ears pricked, facing the elder sibling with an alert, but otherwise nonchalant expression. He featured more of Xenev's aloofness and curiosity(without the extreme degree of ruthlessness given even Reven had a heart), his nonchalance for things he didn't believe, and he didn't believe it if he could prove it to be undeniably true himself. There was no point in putting one's faith into something blindly, like his brother's warnings. Oh, he appreciated the warnings, yes, but he was too stubborn to adhere to them. He was perfectly capable of defending himself if the others lashed out in their jealousy, but he was going to stay with Famfrit. Zeke and Reven could be unnaturally detached from things, but Famfrit raised him and his sister..he had that familial bond, and he wasn't ashamed of it.

He couldn't help but laugh, a bit tauntingly so at Enylet's plight. He could understand how odd it would be for Enylet to suddenly get a warm welcome from a man he barely knew, but that didn't make it any less awkward for Enylet and any less amusing for himself.

Famfrit, on the other hand, was completley oblivious to the other's problem until he happened a glance at the amused face of his younger son. Then he looked down at Enylet with a bit of surprise, and nodded briefly as he asked politely to be let go. His tails flicked in turn, moreso in a curious manner than anything else as he noted the other's body language for the first time, too. Famfrit could get a one-track mind when he was wrapped up in something, and could a mother not help but get a rush of relief, and joy, and nostalgia, and longing all at once when she--or rather he, in this case--saw his child, grown? All the time he missed with them, and from the sounds of it, all the things he wasn't here to protect them from. When he thought about it in that brief moment of silence, he wouldn't blame Fyuri or Enylet at all if they were furious or upset with him, but he'd still do his best to at least try to do something. Better impossibly late than never, he supposed.

That aside, deep in his heart, Famfrit really did think there was some chance of still forming a strong familial bond, like he had with Lenore and Zeke/Reven, despite all of the shortcomings from himself, as well as the two children he had with him. He'd try, at least.

"...Oh, oh right, sure thing. Alright, well lead the way.~" He let go of Enylet and let his arms hang idly by his side, picking up a more cheerful expression, a smile on his black lips, ears relaxed and tails slowly wagging with a mild clang of his wingblades.

Zeke rolled his eyes harmlessly and moved along to catch up to Famfrit, still in silence. Not the snarky kind of silence, either, but the relaxed kind where one didn't have anything to say and they didn't want to start babbling.

Once Famfrit realized what the other Lucain had asked and had released him, Enlyet felt much better. It had bee very... awkward standing around and letting someone hang on him like that. Even though he was able to deal with emotions a lot better than many of the other members of the organization, he himself wasn't that good with them. It took him a lot of time to gather in the emotions of those around him and reflect what he thought would be the best one to return. Maybe if he had known Famfrit a little longer he would have returned the joyful feelings with some of his own. Maybe he would have even ran to his father and brother to engage in a playful tussle, but that currently wasn't the case. For now he'd do more studying than reacting.

"Right this way...." Enlyet was more composed once again, his brain not wracking itself to figure out what was going on from the overload of affection from his motherly father. He now turned from the two of them, moving toward the entrance of the building and holding the door long enough for them to get inside. "Stay close and don't wander off on your own. I you get lost I'm not going to be held responsible for anything that happens to you." In other words, it wasn't safe to travel through the lab on their own. If they got lost and ended up in the wrong place there was no telling what could happen to them. They could either end up as an experiment for one of the others, or maybe they could be seen as a snack by one of the other experiments. He wasn't sure what sort of trouble they might run in to, but so long as they were with him they would be safe. Nothing around here was brave enough to lash out at him. He had roamed these halls enough times that every single experiment subject knew him and knew that it would be unwise to touch him unless they wished for their life to be ended.

Glancing back at the other two, Enlyet did something that one wouldn't expect of one of his kind. Well... maybe it was to gather more information on the emotions of the others. "Tell me, Famfrit.... What would cause you to want to become one of Xenev's experiments? There are very few that willingly become walking experiments." He did experiments himself, but they were always by consent. His father... not to much. He hadn't seen many being brought here of their own free will. Honestly, it was sort of odd how most were forced and yet Famfrit would just walk in and more or less ask to because an experiment. It was almost as if he had a death wish.

Famfrit nodded quietly with a plucky smile, keeping up the cheerful attitude. He reminded himself again that they hadn't seen each other since Enylet was just a small puppy, so it was only fair that he didn't recognize him and act differently than he had. That didn't discourage him from being kind, though. He wouldn't shy away, and he'd just have to put in the effort without coming across as overbearing. It could easily be said that Famfrit didn't have much of a grasp on how his actions could annoy others sometimes. He knew they did, so he tried to tone it down, but he still didn't get how being friendly annoyed people. That aside, he followed his eldest boy across the cold landscape, stopping a moment after walking inside a few feet to shake some loose snow from his fur. Being Sundancer and Malamute, it was easy for him to adapt to warm or cold climates quickly.

Zeke, who had followed his father, grunted and brought an arm up to his face as Famfrit made himself right at home, spraying a fine mist of snow within a small radius. Their trek up here wasn't bad, his thick pelt insulated him from the occasional snow drift that they knocked down, and the cool weather was quite soothing, especially given how his genetics were built to thrive in chilly climates.

He brushed the snow from his fur calmly, refraining from sending it everywhere. "Careful, this isn't like home, you can't just walk in and start rolling around everywhere.." Of course, Famfrit wasn't rolling around, but the gist was the same. That was all he had to say for now, though. He could've commented on how his parent was doing it again..grinning like that after the other asked him to get off. But that was none of his business to say, because Enylet had asked Famfrit why he was coming. "I'll keep it in mind.." In truth, he was very curious about what went on here. There was so much that caught his interest, his curiosity..he wanted to know how things worked and what set off reactions in the natural world. He loved learning about the interaction of species, their impacts, and how they develop, live, and die..how everything goes full circle eventually. Perhaps he could find something to move him along in that quest to know here.

Famfrit gave a tilt of his head before perking it up, ears going forwards to listen before turning back a bit as a corner of his lips pursed. "Hmm..." He wasn't exactly willing to spill it, but he felt partially obligated to say something. Admitting something was wrong was the first step to recovery, right? "Well..I've got a few issues..it's gone beyond some simple little habit. I'm like the counselor at home..sort of, but when I've got some kind of problem I just won't say anything at all, but I brood over things a lot. When I was with Xenev and he ran those tests on me though, I opened up a lot more, and it really kept things from getting to a critical point again, so Klaus--er, the little misses that looks over the place, decided to send me back to him for a more permanent fix. Zeke offered to come, but we decided it'd be better for me to come with someone else and get a chance to meet his father, anyway." You couldn't see it unless you had a good eye, but Fam was having a mental mini-panic attack right there frm saying that.

He was such a selfless person, he felt like such a burden when he talked about himself, even that little, not to mention how selfish he felt..other people had their own problems and issues to deal with, which were probably a lot worse than his petty issues, so to sit and listen to how simple his issues were compared to what they were facing was probably annoying to them. In truth, it was probably true, but that wasn't the real issue trying to be addressed, here. The real issue was the fact that even when things came to a critical point, where things were constantly nagging at him and something was so obviously wrong, he just kept packing things on without doing anything about it. That needed to stop before it reached the breaking point.

Enlyet slowed down, stopping for a moment to look back at Famfrit. "You sound like an idiot." He had put it.... very blunt... Seconds later he had started walking again, looking forward once again. "Why bottle up emotions inside when you actually have them? Emotions were made to be used, so there is no reason to lock them away. You only damage yourself in the end when you do that... And I'm willing to bet that it could harm those around you as well."

For one that didn't have a full grasp on emotions, he knew a good bit about them. He knew the reasoning behind them at least, and he knew this father of his wasn't using them correctly. Maybe.... maybe that was why Xenev had decided to use Famfrit for experiments. One that had an abundance of emotions but did little to let all of them out. Maybe he wanted to transfer those pent up emotions to another being. Was that why he himself had be created...? Well... he didn't really doubt it. It was certainly something Xenev would do. One thing was for sure though.... It had obviously been a failure, as he didn't really see much of himself in this one. Then again, that would possibly be why they were pent up emotions...

(Sorry it fails. DX They're still on the way and all.)

It's totally fine. :3 And if you don't, mind, using colors when speakings is too much for my lazy self to do~ ))

Famfrit blinked and lifted a brow at Enylet. "I know..that's why I decided to come here..I thought maybe Xen could help me with that." His tails just swayed and while his ears went back, it was only for a split second and they were fixated on the other again. He didn't glance to Zeke, nor did his expression really waver from Enylet.

Ezekiel, on the other hand, frowned with a scoff. Famfrit wouldn't show it, but he knew exactly how his parent took it. Famfrit wouldn't show it, but he'd be upset over the fact that his own son would cut him down without so much as blinking an eye, but he knew the reason that Famfrit wouldn't show it. He wouldn't show how upset he was because it was his son, and he knew Enylet was right, which is why Famfrit came. Plus he was aware how much guilt Famfrit felt for not being around.

Zeke was normally a passive observer, but at least he had respect for his elders. "I don't know what happened to you in Famfrit's absence, nor is it my business, but at least he has the courage to come here and get help for something he knows is an issue. He's aware of how it effects others, so the least you could do is show some decency towards your parent, despite him not being here. At least he came around eventually." Ezekiel frowned at Enylet, finding it hard to beleive he was related to this male, but he had to remember that their circumstances coming up were vastly different. Still, that was no excuse.

To Zeke and Reven, the true sign of strength and perseverance of the spirit was when a being overcame the circumstances of their life and appreciated the beauty of the life given. He had observed the weakness and strength of creatures countless times in his observations.

"Zeke, don't start up an argument. He's your brother, you two should get along. He has a point, so behave and mind your manners." Famfrit frowned a bit at Ezekiel, because Enylet was right. He just took things too personally when he shouldn't.
