Return to Tuun Mountains

Faeriens (closed; for now)

Postby Nevermore » 01/11/2015 1:27 PM

The Kingdom of Faeriens (Fair-ee-ans), a natural country with a population of 17 million. It's a magical world. Located to the North in the Tuun Mountains.
Ashland City, is the place most Mages live surrounding the kingdom, this bustling city supplies everything any kingdom would need no outside resources required. This city has no worries on terrorist attacks or battles surly to come in the future. Because of how protected the higher houses are towards them, not only does Fariens have a righteous ruler; with a huge army of knights, but the houses who support him are Fire, and Ice the most powerful of magic in all the land. Even with this superior magic, the kingdom is also protected and hidden by the mountains and its natural resources. Only those who have been here or those who travel extravagantly would know where this kingdom lies. Those that fly can spot it out as well.
(The Fire clan came to this city from the Nori Valcano 'their home land', but decided to claim this as their new home)
In Ashland City, there are seven groups of people, those that are superior are closer to the kingdom while those that are not are on the out skirts. Categorized by their sex, age and Species.
For male human mages they are the most respected and powerful mages in existence. Women have no extra luxuries men only allow them to learn their abilities in the world of magic so that they can defend themselves in crisis situations.
_____________________________________________
(On a Different World, but it is similar)
The Earth World, much to your surprise isn't far off from what Fariens looks like, but when you take a closer look this place is filled more with industrial living than with carefree magic that floats at your every command. Factories supply much of the ground here, and Cars are always crowding the streets. The one thing that makes Earthland superior is their educational process. And to the center where this large city surrounds isn't a kingdom, but a military base.
_________________________________________________
(Directly Connected to Fariens)
Neatherland; Some might call it Hell itself, but those of the Fire clan usually refer to it as passage ways. This is a place far from the sky and ground a place so dark and dangerous that only Fire mages have been able to safely use when going from world to world.

_________________________________________________
The creatures in Fariens are much stronger than what any Farien would admit to, The land of Magic isn't just filled with mages, but their Ecosystem as well; has prospered and has been equally apart of their environment. Many of these creatures actually live coexistent with Fariens in Ashland city. Paragon are a natural transportation for many (much like taxi's are) and many other creatures of Evelon serve here .
___________________________________________________
(How the story is going to take place)
Stark the daughter of royalty (Fire Clan, Her father is the current king) has been kidnapped at the age of Nine and has been sent to a different world where magic is not unknown but has no purpose. She had her memory swiped and it is slowly coming back to her but living in this new world adopted by normal humans has made the process very hard to complete. It is up to those her father has in trusted her safety to, to get her back. And its than up to the antagonist to make sure they never reach her.
(still weeding out some stuff)

Her name was Joanna, but everyone prefered to call her 'sloppy Joe' in reference to how she played. She was behind the batting cages practicing her swing, no good. No matter how hard her efforts were she always missed the ball. Joe gritted her teeth "I'm going to win this game today!" She quietly told herself as she motioned the server to send another ball to her. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply she clenched tighter on the bat. She listened as the ball drew closer then simultaniously opened her eyes and swung the bat with all her might hoping this would be the end of her bad streek. Sadly her resolve was the same the ball flew past her hitting the cage behind her bouncing in the air and falling beside her. She let her grip on the bat go and allowed it to fall to the ground and walked away towards her parents who were always so full of joy and cheer they handed her a towel to whipe her sweat off with and a water bottle, "thanks" she said with no compassion. She took the drink after putting the towel around her neck and sipped the water, she watched the other players practice and sat on the bench blank faced. The team was all in uniform waiting for their battle on the field, they wore the symbol of a Mustang their colors were black and white, some had sleeveless shirts while others ranged from normal length to full sleves. Joe had sleveless with soft ball pants pleted shoes and knee pads.
Joe had unusual hair the color was a dull tan with a streek of crimson red in her bangs, she wore it up today with a baseball cap to give her shade from the abundant sun, outside, that always hurt her emerald eyes. She wore it inside the facility to shield her eyes from the team who made it part of their practice to mock and belittle her. She guessed they forgot who funded this program and whose family vehicle they were going to get into to head towards their big game against the Fire Falcons. She didn't care for the rumors or drama the team was always full of and usually kept to herself unless she  had some sort of enlightenment that gave her a a fiery passion... it was one of these episodes that got her accepted into the team, but in all their practices this passion stayed dorement.

(Stark is named Joanna Nancy Simonetti on Earth. Title the post to where your characters at. That should help a lot)

Fweeeeeet!

The sound of a whistle cut sharp through the chatter and noise of the girls practicing. Sue dropped the whistle back to his chest and scowled, squinting at the clipboard in his arms. At least it was a sunny, hot day; days like this made Sue feel much more at ease with the world. Which was a bit of an overstatement, but it was relative, compared to the moods he tended to get into. "Hey, Perkins!" he barked at one girl, waving a pen in the air threateningly. "You better not be shirking underhand practice! Just because it's an easy throw doesn't mean they're not gonna throw one!"

Sue Iglesias was not the coaching type. He was naturally impatient and impulsive, and angry, and the amount of snickers that he got from other boys in the school--added to those who raised eyebrows at his name--had amassed enough black eyes on behalf of Sue's fists to earn Sue a spot as assistant volleyball coach for the entirety of the school year. Of course, he would've preferred detention, sitting in a quiet room alone with his thoughts, but the vice principal knew good and well how Sue worked. He'd seen him in his office enough times to know that to really make Sue suffer was to put him with a bunch of girls on a hot field and expect him to make them listen to him. The coach, an older woman who complained about the heat far too often for Sue's tastes, had called in sick that day, leaving Sue in charge. Damn if that made him just as mad as hell.

His dark brown gaze flashed to Joe, then glanced at her parents, and tried to sober up a little, even managing something like a grimacing smile as he approached the three. "Hey, Joe. How's it coming?" he asked, his voice a little rough with an attempt to sound friendly.

But there will come a time
You'll see, with no more tears
And love will not break your heart
But dismiss your fears
Get over your hill and see
What you find there
With grace in your heart
And flowers in your hair

"Tomorrow will be a good day."

-----Faeriens-----

He wore a blue symbol of a cube on fire on the right side of his poet shirt the long sleeves barley made his hand usable, he wore a vest over it a sea green color, his pants were black, and covered from his knees down by his boots. He was searching for more mages or knights to join his quest to save the princess it had been seven years now and he had only been able to get a couple mages to join him, at this rate the princess would forever be lost. He continued down the streets of Ashland city knocking on all doors and asking all Faeriens he passed if they would join him, but the day was getting older and his luck didn't seem like it was going to change. Making his journey back on the roads towards the kingdom he still continued to ask every one he passed. Passing by a crowded market place he grabbed the small hope he had left and jumped onto one of the tables "I am Ekoer Eldest Son of the Pachelli family under the permission of the king I'm am here seeking mages and noble knights who will join me to save the lost princess!" he called out to the folks, a few turned their eyes on him while others tried to ignore his existence. A couple of the villagers asked if there had been any news, but left with none most of them went about their day. "I am in great.. need for more folk to join me" He began to plead "By sundown tomorrow the king will send word to me to disband the few members I have, and give up on our princess for ever!" he began to cry out, but no words of his seemed to reach the commoners ears, "If we do not have atleast one more Valliant hero we cannot make the journey to the other world, we need only one more to come with us to find Lady Stark, it is with a set amount that we can even attempt it. Any one who dares to come will be honored as the kingdoms heros! Will any of you not stand with me in hopes to return our princess?!" he tried to explain, but was still left with no response feeling the lost of hope he got down from the table with his head hung down biting his lips in fury, How could these great people ignore their princesses capture and when there was a chance they could save her they stayed idle.

----Earth World------
Joe had been puzzled these couple of days, her parents couldn't really come up with any good answers to suffice her with and on top of that her soft ball practices were beginning to take a lot more of her time then she expected, it was probably due to her lack of skill, and her coach wanting to see more improvement before their next game. It began to ware on Joe. She gave out a sigh looking back to her parents who tried their best to cheer her up, but it just felt like white noise...nothing felt real anymore. unlike her dreams they were getting more and more vivid like they were memories, but enough of that Joe didn't have time to think about any of it, she needed to clear her head and hit the ball! Just when she was prepping herself up for the inevitable the assistant coach came up to her, she hoped he didn't think she was skipping out on practice "uh... Hey, its fine" she quietly acknowledged him, her parents were the talkers here not her she hoped they would intervene and start talking about fundraisers before he would ever bring up her terrible batting skills. She started fidgeting her hands on her water bottle, but decided before he could talk more in-depth to her that she could use this time to escape, she chugged her water bottle down whipped her face with her towel handed everything to her parents and started to walk off "umm, I should really be getting back out there" she said giving her mom and dad pleading eyes.
Her parents however were confused, but they quickly brushed it off and jumped on Sue for the latest news on the fundraising and other activities they wanted the team to experience.
Joanna hoped Sue wouldn't kill her later for ditching him like that. She walked back up to the batting cages, grabbed her bat and placed her helmet on her head. She walked into the cage and prepped herself for the ball.

Joe wasn't complicated, but then again she might have just been complicating she couldn't fit in rather didn't want to, leaving her to be the lone wolf in the pack of lioness. She gulped down and prodded the bat... one more time, maybe that's all she needed, just another chance to make everything right, maybe even correct her weird self in this existence. The machine jetted a ball out; a pure, gentle, elegant shot. Now it was up to Joe to complete this dance with a swift brush of her bat to tango with the ball until it would decend into the blistful sky. Listening to the crack of the ball and the pressure from the bat she widened her eyes, had she finally hit the ball? Looking left to right searching for this miracle, a scream echoed in the practice area. Wondering what had caused this noise she looked through the screens that protected viewers from being hit by foul balls and to her amazement a perfect hole that would fit one of her soft balls seemed to have freshly appeared in the netting it had also smelled a bit burnt.

((if you want to join in you may at any time, lol. Sorry I'm such a slow poke with this stuff <3))
