<sup><Understandable,> said Ailer, trying her best to not sound indignant at the commentary. She refocused her mind on the task at hand, and was not liking the fact she was coming up short of reasonable ideas. Ailer sighed. <Young... Sebas, was it? I don’t suppose dear Lena told you anything about why she brought you here?>

Sebas blanched at being named, staring up at her with wide eyes. Sebas stared at his feet, shuffling nervously. “...Ah... n-no... sorry.” He ducked his head, embarrassed.

<I see,> Ailer remarked blandly. Shifting her weight to look back at the women who had so kindly offered their help, she elaborated, <In that case... it is likely that she is intending for us to find her, instead of the other way around.> She made an unhappy rumbling deep within her throat. <Do either of you know of any places within a day or two’s trek from here that is within walking distance of water? It’s not much, I’m afraid... but it is a place to start.></sup>

Lila nods her head towards Neo. "This one will know. I'm not super into off trail hiking myself, but Neo sure is. She also loves dragging her kiddos with her." Lila starts laughing "Do you remember when Eliot started clinging to the door frame because he was so set against going for a walk and it took both me and you pulling on El for him to let go?" Neo sighs and rolls her eyes. "Yes, that boy has not changed much. It like pulling teeth to get him to leave the city. Anyway. There may be a spot to the south. It's a cave system with a river less than fifty feet from the mouth of the cave. I haven't been there in years, but I'm fairly certain I can get us there. We should pick up some maps though. Just in case we get separated. It's unlikely that would happen, but I would us all be prepared."

<sup><A cave,> Ailer mused. She sighed, weary. <I doubt I can be much help, regretfully.> She gestured to her own form. <I am not exactly well equipped to be... under the ground,> her face distorted into a disgusted grimace, <for any length of time.>

She shot a glance at Sebas. <Taking some time to prepare might not be a bad idea, either.> Ailer looked back to the women again. <I think it would be best if I take my leave of you for now... see if I can get an eye on anything noteworthy. If you need me, for any reason, just shout my name... hmm,> what could almost pass as a thoughtful look crossed her face, <...three times should do it, I think.>

Sebas nodded sagely as the women discussed... things. He only really understood half of what was being said, but he knew that it was important. Somehow. And then the Ailer was leaving, and he found himself oddly distressed. “Maps,” he squeaked, interrupting Ailer’s take-off. “I have no money,” he bemoaned.</sup>
