Shuffling uncomfortably she awkwardly got on her knees. Feeling very beneith herself at the moment she put her elbows on the bed and folded her hands together. Repeating faith several times to herself in her head she began to speak, "okay I ah don't really know if I'm doing this right. I need help... assistance is more like it you know one god to another. I don't even know who would be listening to this." Could all higher beings hear her or just one in particular that went along with that sort of praying.

"Please answer my request. I have... faith that you can help me," she finished and opened her eyes back up. Now what she thought with her face scrunched up in confusion. A tapping on the window alerted her out of her thoughts. Moving over to the window she opened it and peered out. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, she shrugged probably just a bird. Turning about around she jumped startled because a very sinister woman stood in the middle of her room grinning quite wide at her.

"Is this because I had faith?" Caspia questioned unsure.

"Oh darling, faith had nothing to do with it. Quite the opposite actually," the woman some sweetly... too sweetly. She had dark skin and curly black hair that poked out I'm every which way. The crazy hair added to her dastardly appearance that gave (yes the goddess of all things cold) Caspia chills up and down her spine. Rubbing the goosebumps off her arms Caspia stood and watched the lady warily.

"I hear you need help," the woman stated as she made herself comfortable.

"Yes," Caspia sharply snapped.

Unfazed by Caspia's rudedness merely continued on in conversation, "and what exactly is that?"

"I wish to not be a goddess anymore. It has caused me far to much trouble than its worth," it was the first time she spoke the truth out loud. It was more ridiculous out loud than it was in her head.

"What if I told you that I could help you with that," the woman casually mentioned as she lounged in a chair.

"Impossible," there was no way. She knew it deep down. On could not all of sudden be something else. She didn't even possess the power to that.

The woman pouted, "what happened to all so called... faith that you had."

Caspia burrowed her brow in anger, "get out... NOW! Before I call the apon the power of the gods."

The lady stood with a grin on her face, "yes thats the anger I need."

"I am not giving you another chance," Caspia spoke deadly calm.

"Tsk tsk that's no way to speak to me," throwing a hand in the air Caspia rose up and then was promptly thrown into a wall. She thumped to the ground in a heap with an expression of fear and admiration.

The woman leaned down and cupped the woman's face, "I can remove this curse from you only of agree to join me."

"Join you where?" Caspia asked desperate to rid herself of her title.

"Join my coven down in the underworld. Where you can be the most powerful and rule over the land of the dead with me. No faith needed," she whispered in ear as if it was a secret.

Caspia eyes held hunger, "how soon can we leave?"

Stepping away from Caspia she held out her hand. Caspia took and used it to get up. "The name is Imelda Tempest and we'll be leaving tonight," she introduced herself.

"Tonight?" she asked suspirsed.

"Yes you must take this," Imelda handed her a small vial.

Caspia took it warily, "will this do the trick?"

"Have of it, the other half I have to do," Imelda raised her hand in the air.

Caspia downed the contents of the liquid. "Alright do your thing," she said with a sour expression on her face.

Imelda spoke quietly under her breath while she held her hand out towards Caspia. With a lot of concentration in her eyes a light purple landed over Caspia. "You are free from responsibilities now," she lowered her arm. The purple mist was absorbed into Caspia's skin.

Caspia looked over herself. She didn't feel any different. "Did it really work?" she asked aloud.

"I did it of course it worked," Imelda scoffed.

"So do we leave now?" Caspia wasn't completely convinced.

"We leave after you finish an unresolved issue," Imelda reclaimed her seat.

"Would you like to clue me in on this so unresolved issue?" she asked taking the seat across from Imelda.

"It has to do with you pesky little paragon clan," Imelda raised her eyebrows.

"Oh," Caspia frowned, " what exactly am I suppose to wrap up with them?"

"I am under the impression that they have cause you much annoyance over the last few years. Except sadly you were unable to do anything about it," Imedla babbled on ignoring the question.

"Yes without them I would have died," Caspia clarified.

"Now though you won't and in order for you to follow me back to the underworld one dastardly deed must be made," Imelda informed.

"Must I kill them?" she asked unsure of the pretenses of this dastardly deed.

"No that would be to kind. Make them suffer," she stated bluntly.

Caspia thought for a moment. If she cursed them to the mountain they wouldn't be able to fly away in search for food next spring. It would leave them to starve.

A little while late Caspia enter her cabin and her most of her stuff in trunks waiting by the door. "Is it done?" Imelda asked coming out of her bedroom.

"Yes, its done," Caspia spoke without emotion. She had to continue to remind herself that this is what she wanted. What she just did was worth it.

"I took the liberty to gather your things. We are on a tight schedule and must be going now," Imelda was already out the door by the time she finished her sentence.

Caspia's belongings suddenly rose in the air and followed Imelda out. Quickly Caspia took off so she wouldn't be left behind. They walked for a long while, the wet snow seeping into her shoes. They had traveled through quite a bit of woods before they came to a clearing. Imelda stuck her hand out and tear slowly began to form revealing another world. Imelda stepped through and beckoned Caspia through.

Caspia found herself standing in a world that looked similar to the one she had just left behind. Except for this one looked like someone dumped toxins over it. The sky was an eerie green and a sickly orange orb throbbed in the sky giving the place light. A wet heat hung in the air and clung to her skin. She wiped the sweat that started to build on her forehead. Imelda turned to her, "welcome to the Order of the Bloody Thorn."
