"Ohhhh."  He threw him some food into his mouth.  "That's what you wanted?"

Rebeanaduct munched on the food with a relishing look on his face and then went in the corner and laid down.
"He can't paint again for a while." Aquitia commented.
"Yeah, painting makes him tired." Ottonomy agreed.

"Okay. so while he rests what do you three want to do?  We could play a board game or something."

Aquitia huffed. "I'll sleep, thank you very much."
Amirrakling looked at the mess of yarn.
"Please roll it back up?" she asked holding up a wrapped-up paw.

"Ok. I will." He rolled it back up and tossed it.  Boots chased it eagerly.

Amirrakling ran after Boots to play with the yarn.
Ottonomy simply sat at John's feet, staring at him. His face bearing the wet streaks of dispair.
"I feel so bad. I made a mess."

"Awww. It's okay.  Here have a potato chip."  John smiled and gave him a potato chip.

Ottonomy snatched the potato chip out of John's hand and began to munch eagerly.
"You shouldn't have done that." Aquitia told John.
Rebeanaduct opened one eye. "Now he's gonna puke. Oh, boy."
"You can't just feed us animals anything you want, some things mess with ol' boy's stomach. He can't have a lot of junk, and he already got into the cookies without you knowing...plus, for some reasons, chips make him puke..."

"Oh God.  When is Jessica getting back."  He buried his head in his hands.  He culdn't help feeling stupid.

Amirrakling trotted over and put her head on John's lap.
"She said she would be right back, she should be here soon. Don't worry, Otto knows where the toilet is if he has to throw up."
She nuzzled his hand.

"Okay." he said.  He petted Amirrakling's head.  "He'll be okay then?"

She nodded and purred.
"He'll be just fine, just don't do it again. He can only throw up so much before it's a problem."
She jumped in his lap and curled up.
In the meantime, Ottonomy was running to the toilet.

He stroked the kuhna's head.  He was so tired from his travels That he fell asleep.  He dreamt of his homelaand..

Jessica entered at that moment, very tired, but at the site she now saw she was overcome with anger.
"WHY ARE THERE MERRY-OS EVERYWHERE? AND WHERE IS MEERS? WHY ARE YOU ASLEEP? I LEAVE YOU WITH MY KUHNA FOR TEN MINUTES AND YOU FALL ASLEEP?"
She slammed the door and stormed over to John.
"There's my baby!" she exclaimed, catching sight of Amirrakling and snatching her from John, cuddling her in her arms.
She set Amirrakling down and looked around the room. "Where's Otto?"
"Right here," a weary voice announced.
"Oh my god! OTTO! My poor baby!" she ran over to the puke-covered Kuhna and picked him up. "Come on, let's give you a nice cool bath and wash all this sickness off of you."
Then she turned to John, "I'll speak with you after we get some order around here."

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to fall asleep.  I was just so exhausted."
