[[Dang, that was a lot to read! xD And nice choice of enemies. xP I feel a fight coming on. >;3]]
"This is natural?!", Kuay softly blurted out, unable to comprehend this odd anomaly. Gerik could relate; this didn't scream natural to him at all. But, then again, they didn't really go looking for ancient civilizations and what have you. And though it was all terrifyingly new to Kuay, she couldn't help but feel terribly interested in the whole thing.
Carefully, the feline inched towards the dropoff and peaked over the edge. Istantly, her fascination was replaced with fear and she quickly skittered away from the death trap. It was then she noticed the unstable looking stone bridge. Surely that wasn't the only way they could take... was it? She gulped nervously. "W-we aren't going to cross t-that bridge, are we?!", she whined, fearing the worst.
While Kuay was in her own little worryful world, Gerik had been silently following along with Ovir's and Chester's conversation about the grills and cameras. He looked up at the grill high above, thinking. He was a Garudor, a strong flier; his species was known for being good mounts. But, the sheer height paired with his uneasiness with a rider, he wasn't so sure he could be so helpful in reaching it. One wrong move, and whoever was on his back could fall to their death below... Pushing the thought to the side, he let his eyes trail after Chester as he went to disable a camera.
Meanwhile, Kuay listened to Layla. "Room of life?" she repeated. But before anything else could be said, a viscious hissing sound made them freeze. Kuay let out a screech as the commotion played out above with Chester and this new threat. She dove behind Gerik, in turn making the large bird let out a surprised squawk and throw up his wings, sending a strong gust out and kicking up more leaves and dust. He jumped up, as if ready to attack with his talons, but turned at the sight of a second intruder which he soon found to be a Turkezilla.
Kuay puffed up defensively as the second mutant turkey crept closer. "AHH! GET AWAY!", she spat and hissed at the thing, still ducking behind the ruffled Garudor. Gerik let out a hiss type growl of his own defensively. He glanced back in a frantic fashion at the other monsterous bird and turned slightly in an attempt to keep both in his sights. He didn't like this at all... They outnumbered the beasts, but these Turkezilla's were huge! "Back off!", he warned the nearest Turkezilla, lowering his head and glaring dangerously at the thing. Although Gerik was usually a very laid back and softspoken guy, he was not one to be messed with... and those talons certainly sent the signal.
