"NO!" Abstract objected. "You're not the pest. She is."
Trill stood as well, her fur stood on end. "Oh, you're asking for it now!" She lunged at him, all of her force slamming into his chest.
Abstract toppled backwards but he managed to defend himself.
She aimed pretty amazing blows for who she was but none of them did any damage.
He blocked all of them. Either with his paws or his feet.
Edge eventually got in between and dragged Trill off.

Trill was immediately on her paws again. With an angry look in her eyes, she hissed, "Fine. I'll leave then, if that's what you really want." And with that, she walked off, disappearing into the sand dunes.
Abstract and Edge watched her go.
"Well, that was....."
"Awesome?"
"I was going to say interesting but that works too."
He smiled and she smiled right back.
"Well.... What now?" He sat down again, his tails sweeping through the sand.
"We shouldn't waste the sunset." Edge gestured to the pink sky.
Abstract griined. "Sure."
Edge sat down next to him and together they watched the sunset.

"Thanks." Edge murmured.
"For what?" Abstract raised an eyebrow.
"For today...." She paused. "For everything."
Not many knew the tale of Edge and Abstract and it's a story we'll get into another day.
"You're welcome..." He gently brushed his tail against hers. "But you don't have to thank me. I'm sure anybody would do the same thing."
"But no one would help me like you did. I just want you too remember that."

Abstract didn't respond. He looked as if he was lost in the sunset.
Edge glanced at him and then down at the ground.

"We should get going." Abstract murmured as the last of the sunset faded into the dark.
Edge nodded. "Definitely." She shivered stood.
Abstract did the same.

The two Kuhnas padded towards a hill, their flanks pressed together for warmth.
"Good luck." Edge murmured to him.
"Thanks. I'll need it." Abstract sighed.
"I'm sure you'll do find. Especially with that triangle of yours." She smiled mischievously and took off, running through the sand.
He paused as if he had to think it over. "Hey! Wait a sec!" He raced after her and the Kuhnas disappeared into the night.
