[Mousen]

Zaar sighed inwardly. Next time he'd travel the other side of midday. For now atleast, it seemed, he'd have to put up with it.

[Mousen]

Muu flew high. Spiralling around in long artful circles. Freedom for her was the most important thing in the world.

[Mousen]

She flew faster her golden wings flashing in the sun. Zaar looked up at her, a glint in his eyes. How he loved it when she flew.

[Mousen]

A wind whipped the sand. It swirled up making a thousand different patterns and shapes. It curled higher, more intimidating even.

[Mousen]

This was it's warning, there was a storm coming and Zaar knew it. "Muu." He called. There was no need she was already by his side.

[Mousen]

Zaar's eyes flashed again. This time from excitement. Muu clung to him, as her antennae twitched, she too could sense the excitement in the air.

[Mousen]

The imuet picked up the pace and ran. He ran, he sprinted, this wasn't a lolopy pad, no it was a full out run with the wind sprint. He even had a huge silly grin on his face.

[Mousen]

Muu was also exhilarated. She could fly yes, but nothing could ever beat the sound Zaar's paws made as they hit the sand. They way they kicked it up as he ran, even the gait suited her.

[Mousen]

She and Zaar were companions, they were like different sides of one self. Both sides irresponsible. Both sides would always count freedom as the most important thing; save for each other.

[Mousen]

There was a slight edge on anxiety now to his run. It was more desperate, the sky darkened. A sandstorm was about to blow in; and that was bad news.

[Mousen]

Zaar let out a growl, a small growl of exasperation. The village had to be somewhere here. Visibility was becoming murkier by the second.

[Mousen]

For the first time in a long while Zaar felt a touch of fear. He didn't have to say it. "Zaar, I'm sure we must have passes it by now."

[Mousen]

"We can't have. Impossible." yet the imuet wasn't sure. For all he knew the could have passed it. Not good.

[Mousen]

"What are we going to do?" Muu spoke, her little chitter nervous. Zaar looked down, "I don't know." The beetle met his eyes for a moment.

[Mousen]

It was decided. "Help! Please! Some-one! Anyone?" Zaar called. His voice carried almost nowhere. Lost to the wind.
