[Kitsumi]

Her chest seemed like it was about to explode. She had to have travelled miles by now. Despite being unaccustomed to long periods of exursion, she seemed to have done well. But now, after hours of walking, her paws felt like they were about to fall off. Still, she decided that she could make it a bit further.

Feirima couldn't believe her ears. "What do you mean you've arranged a marraige for me?!" Her eyes blazed with fury as she spoke. "I'm not a servant that you can trade away for your own personal gain. I'm your daughter! And I don't want to marry an old widower with seven kids, even if he is rich!"

[Kitsumi]

Not even noticing, Kirye began talking to herself. "I hope my sister will be ok without me there." She sighed. "Well, Myra was always dad's favorite. She'll be fine." Kirye crossed her arms defiantly. "Either way, I'm not going back."

[Kitsumi]

Obviously, arguing was getting Feirima nowhere. Letting out a sigh of frustration, she gave up. She walked outside, slamming the door behind her. "Ugh! Of all the stupid, idiotic-" As she walked, she screamed her frustration to the world.

Soon, Kirye could make out lights in the distance. She altered her course slightly in order to head towards them. Lights meant civilization. Civilization meant a place to stay. She had enough money with her to pay for a hotel room for one night. Soon, Kirye could hear a female voice.

[Kitsumi]

Feirima stomped around, shouting. "This is stupid! My dad is stupid! That old guy I'm supposed to marry is stupid!" She paused to take a breath. Then, she noticed a figure walking towards the house.

[Kitsumi]

Upon closer inspection, Kirye noticed that the lights belonged to a huge house. A barn stood right outside the house. And then she saw teh cause of the screaming. Outside, a girl stood, shouting loudly. Then, she stopped. She seemed to be looking right at Kirye, but Kirye couldn't be sure.

[Kitsumi]

"Hey!" Feirima shouted at the stranger. She thought it was a girl, but she wasn't sure. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" She waited quietly for a reply.

[Kitsumi]

Kirye sighed. It looks like she had been spotted. "My name's Kirye." she replied. "I'm sorry if I'm trespassing. I'll leave."

[Kitsumi]

For a moment, Fei didn't reply. Finally, she spoke in a loud voice. "No, it's fine." She moved closer to Kirye. "My name's Feirima. I haven't seen you around here before. What are you doing here?"

[Kitsumi]

Kirye didn't know what to say. "I ran away." She decided that the truth was best. If things didn't work out, she could always make a run for it. Besides, this girl just might understand her. Maybe.

[Kitsumi]

"What?" Feirima was shocked. "Why would you do that?" Her voice wasn't accusing, just curious. She had never known anyone who had ran away before. "So, what's the story?"

[Kitsumi]

"The story?" Kirye was confused. Why would this girl want to hear her story? Still, at least she wasn't calling the authorities. "It's pretty long. I mean, I'll tell you if I want." Remembering that she needed a place to stay the night, she asked, "Do you know where the nearest hotel is?"

[Kitsumi]

In an instant, Fei made her decision. Her dad would hate her for it. But at the moment, she honestly didn't care. Actually, that wasn't quite true. She did care; she just wanted to upset her dad. "You can stay here, in our barn."

[Kitsumi]

Kirye was shocked by the offer. It was a good idea, though. Surely it would cost less to stay here. "Sure," she agreed. "How much will it cost to stay here?"
