Suddenly, Navvi could feel water. He had walked into the pool of the oasis. And then, he realized. It wasn’t a mirage! The oasis was real! And Navvi wasn’t going to die. Not yet, anyways.

“I’m going to live!” Navvi shouted it out to the world. He scooped handfuls of the fresh water into his mouth. Gulping it down, he reveled in the fresh, coolness of it. Then, he remembered his mission. He had to save his son! Playtime was over; it was time to save Navvos!
