Bentner blinked. "He is not dead and cannot be killed? So he is immortal and locked up?" He would describe an immortal being as a god, for that was what it meant in his world, but he kept that to himself. "That means he is different from you, isn't he? Everyone I've met here so far was an Arrancar and I know about Hollows, who are prior evolutions, but does that mean there is some higher rank still?"

He looked at Yoshi and then nodded. While taking a potion he had not analyzed prior to drinking it was making him feel uneasy, he trusted especially Tia and drinking it in front of someone like Yoshi who would probably know what to do if something unexpected would happen had advantages. "That might be a good idea. Do you happen to have two glasses here? Since Morwena and me will share, we need to divide the liquid up prior to drinking."

Morwena happily nodded. "Thank you so much for giving some to me, Dear! I will remain by your side for all my life!" She looked at Yoshi, a bit surprised at her offer and then at Tia. "A tour of the castle? Will there be time for it? I admit I would be interested in seeing more of this place, though, but we are already wearing the bracelets."

"I, too, would be interested in learning more, but we do not want to be a bother, after all you have already done for us", Bentner agreed, surprised that Morwena actually showed some tact - but then again, she was really happy right now, so that was probably the explanation for that.

“He is indeed,” Tia agreed, nodding her head. “But he is far away from Hueco Mundo. In a prison, where he belongs. He was a false God, with false powers, and in the end, he discarded his followers like trash. That was ultimately his downfall.” Tia fell silent, leaving it up to Yoshi to fill in the silence. The girl did so immediately. “Oh yes!” She waved both her hands, and instead of materializing out of thin air, two glasses slowly seemed to form from the particles that floated around them, unseen until then, and slowly built themselves until they rested delicately in her hand.

She held them out for Bentner and Morwena to take. “And there’s always a time for tours! Time flows differently here than in other places. That is why we are so old, you know. A lifetime here could be no more than a few minutes in the human world. Quite handy.” She smiled brightly, beaming up at them. “And I can introduce you to the last female Arrancar, and maybe some of the males! They’d be happy to meet you.” When she said happy, she meant ‘they’d be rather apathetic and uncaring as to whether they met them or not.’

"Those who only see themselves and do not give those around them any value will also not give value to the ones attacking them before it is too late. Such a person could never permanently gain power." Bentner nodded at Tia and then took the glasses. "Thank you kindly." He placed them on one of the now empty pedestals and started to carefully pour the potion into them both.

Morwena watched. "That sounds nice! I would really like to see more!" Seeing males was also better than seeing females, obviously - the less temptation there was for her Dear, the happier Morwena was. "I do wonder what kind of things you have here that we also have in our world and which are different. Do you have libraries?" A good mage needed a library, after all, and if there were so many magical artifacts here, maybe there were also awesome magic books?

Tia watched as they poured the vial into the cups, and slowly zipped her jacket back up, covering the skeletal, shark-like mask once more. She thought over their questions as they poured, and finally nodded. “We do have libraries,” Tia admitted. “But our books are all from the human realm. No one here has the…time or the ability or need to write a book of their own, so we take them from the human world when we get the chance. I believe Yoshi has procured many of them.” The green haired girl nodded. “I have indeed,” she chirped. “All lovely donations. I’ve never read most of them myself, but they do have some pretty pictures sometimes.” She looked amused, giggling to herself happily and clutching her hands together. “I can’t wait to show you everything! You’ll love meeting everyone!”

"Oh, I see! Well, your human world...might still be different from ours and have other magic?" Then again, if Yoshi deemed them to have 'pretty pictures', the library probably consisted of children's books with stick figures. But it probably couldn't hurt to check. After all, it was unlikely that they could read the language of this world anyway. "I would love to see them!"

"Indeed, I would be interested, too. And also interested to talk to others." Bentner finished distributing the potion; one glass had something between a third and a quarter of the potion while the other had the rest. "It's not every day that we get to see another world, after all." He beckoned Morwena to come over.

"Of course, Dear!" Morwena took the glass with the smaller amount of liquid. Of course she would drink first, if there would be any bad side effects, her Dear had to know about them before drinking. She drained the glass quickly, trying not to think about it too much and then waited. "My, it tastes pretty bad!"

“It may, perhaps,” Tia agreed. “I am not exactly an expert on it, but there have been things I have seen which would lead me to believe that there is more to the human world than we could ever imagine or comprehend. Yoshi waved her hands around, twirling in a circle and beaming.

“Oh yes, you’re going to love the library! And well…you might not love the other residents, but they’re pretty fun to play with! And Neliel LOVES my artwork! And she draws with me sometimes when she‘s a little kid!” It was a strange sentence, and might take some explaining on her part, but she forged ahead; “Most magic potions I’ve gathered taste awful. The ones that taste good usually have terrible side effects.”

"With 'human world', do you mean there is an actual part of your world in which humans live or do you call other worlds like Evelon the 'human world'?" Bentner wondered. There had to be at least a human world linked to this place, to which this system of rebirth was linked to, but this world seemed to be not made for normal humans in the first place, either.

Morwena wasn't sure if she liked Yoshi's idea of 'fun' - given the grin the girl had shown when talking about one of the potions - but then again, it maybe involved 'donations', so she was still looking forward to it. Not that Morwena would steal from anyone in this world; her Dear would kill her and so would probably Tia. "When she's...a little kid? Ah, a shape-shifter!" Morwena knew those from Evelon by now - so there were those with an animal-form and a human one as well. Then she blinked. "I still feel fine, Dear!" she informed Bentner after checking if any part of her body felt odd. "And well, yes, most ingredients aren't all that wonderful to begin with. Though I never heard of a potion which tasted good and only consisted of side-effects, really. But we in Pandovia don't work much with potions anyway."

Bentner had been silent and watched Morwena, but her aura also didn't fluctuate and when she continued to chat happily, he also took his glass and downed the liquid.

“Worlds beyond ours; there is the Spirit World, the Demon World, the Human world, the World of Hueco Mundo, and even a world called Soul Society. There are many that we know of, but when I say human world, I mean Evelon. Perhaps your ‘human world’ is different than ours,” Tia explained patiently. She watched them carefully, as if wondering if there really were an adverse effects of the potion. Yoshi smiled widely. “Nope, she’s not a shape shifter like me. She just…sometimes she turns into a child. It’s a long story, but I’m sure she’d be happy to explain it to you.”

She watched the two very closely, her smile widening as they both downed the potion and seemed fine. “Oh good, all gone!” she chirped. “And you look normal and fine to me, so we don’t have to worry.” She twirled a bit, her dress flaring around her. “Would you like to go on a tour now?” She glanced at Tia “If that’s okay with you, Halibel-sama.” The blonde woman nodded curtly, her arms still folded over her abdomen.

"You mean Evelon? So the gods of Evelon actually go along with your system of death and rebirth? How odd, I have not read about this anywhere. Then again, those books were written by humans. Our human world is what we call the 'material plane'. All other planes - the realm of the dead, the astral plane, the realm of the gods - are in the same world, but, except for the astral plane, we humans cannot contact them." Bentner felt the urge to write all Tia told him down; he considered trying to use his new book for it, but he decided that analyzing it first would be better.

"She randomly turns into a child? My, that must be unfortunate at times!" Morwena obviously assumed that this happened accidently. "Maybe she can't control her magic, the poor thing!"

"I do indeed feel fine." Bentner nodded. "I am very grateful for giving us such a rare potion, lady. I think, Morwena, for a second item for you, we take the hairpins?"

"Yes, Dear!" Morwena beamed. "I'm sure they'll come in handy! And with all that resolved, I'm good for a tour!" Morwena was, as someone who had never drunk a magic potion before, still a bit nervous despite all reassurances and figured that some distraction would be nice.

“It’s difficult to explain,” Tia replied. “I’m not entirely sure who the Gods of Evelon are, nor was I aware of them. Perhaps our cycle of death and rebirth is looked after by a God of our own, one separate from the world of Evelon. I can’t truly say for sure.” Tia shifted slightly, glancing at the door. Yoshi giggled quietly. “Oh, it’s not magic. She had an accident a long time ago, and now…well, you’ll see. I’m sure she’d be happy to explain it all to you.” Yoshi turned and picked the hairpins from the pedestal she’d set them on, holding them out for Morwena to take.

“Now can we go?” She bounced on her heels, looking and sounding like an impatient child. Tia rolled her eyes briefly, and nodded. “I will accompany you, for a short time, to be sure you make it to the dormitory quarters in one piece.” She indicated the door with a wave of her hand, and the giant double doors slid open, grating across the white marble floor. Yoshi hopped over to them, indicating them to follow her back into the dining room. “Come on!”

Bentner sighed. "Indeed. Well, it is impossible to figure this out, I suppose." He looked at Yoshi, who seemed really excited. "It sounds like there are indeed interesting people living here." An 'accident' like this did sound like it involved some artifact.

Morwena took the hairpins from Yoshi and made sure that they were clipped safely to her dress. "Thank you so kindly, deary!" Then she looked at Tia. "So there is a chance of us not reaching the quarters in one piece? Is it dangerous here?" She followed Yoshi nontheless back to where they had come from. "Deary, won't the people be bothered if we assault them in their homes?"

“It’s…not exactly the safest place for non-Arrancars,” Tia replied slowly. “While it is true that I have made this castle as safe as possible, there is always the chance that you might be perceived as a threat by some. Of course, I imagine most of the inhabitants here are aware of your presence already, and because there have been no battles, they probably assume you are safe. But just in case…” She shrugged one shoulder elegantly, and followed after them as they entered the dining area and the huge double doors leading to the halls outside opened. Yoshi walked backwards, hands behind her back as they entered the winding, pure white marble halls. “You’d be surprised who would mind. Most of the inhabitants here enjoy a good fight. Buuuut, there’s no chance of them trying to hurt you with me around.”

She giggled, and as they rounded the corner, Yoshi paused in her steps. Just down the hall, a very tall, very lean figure was slouching along, looking as though he’d quite rather be anywhere else than there. In front of him, a young girl, about the age of Yoshi, had stopped cold, and was staring at them with something akin to curiosity. Both were, of course, wearing white, and seemed to have the same Hollow fragments of masks on their bodies. Yoshi lifted up onto her tiptoes and waved, and the young girl down the hall waved back as she trotted towards them. The taller man behind her slouched lazily in their direction. “Come on Starrk, you lazy asshole!” the little girl shouted. “We’ve got visitors! Move your lazy ass!” The man grumbled something unintelligible, but didn’t pick up his pace even as the girl nearly collided with an enthusiastic Yoshi.

“Lilynette!” she chirped, before she jumped back and motioned to Bentner and Morwena. “Look, look! Guests! And nice ones this time! This is Bentner and Morwena.” The girl folded her arms over her chest, looking unimpressed. “Nice to meetcha. I’m Lilynette Gingerbuck and this is-” She turned to introduce them man behind her, only to find that he had slumped against the wall and looked as though he was snoozing. She stormed over and kicked him in the stomach. With an ‘oof’ of exhaled air, the man jolted forward, rubbing at his abdomen. “Geeze, Lilynette. You’re such a bitch,” he groaned. Lilynette snorted. “Better than being a lazy ass like you!” She turned back to the guests, and Yoshi, who looked amused; Tia just looked resigned, as if this happened all the time. “This is Coyote Starrk. You can call him ‘lazy ass’ or just ‘Starrk,” Lilynette finished, looking rather smug. “What are the two of your doing in Hueco Mundo?”

((Starrk, Lilynette and Stark and Lilynette refs for looks~))

"My, everyone is so eager to fight?" Morwena remembered how she had seen Mila Rose fight. "I wonder if we could win a battle against an Arrancar! We are considered really strong for humans in terms of magic, after all."

"Don't pick fights for figuring it out, Morwena", Bentner reminded her, knowing fully well that Morwena maybe even considered something like that - she liked fights herself and Bentner also knew that Morwena would be eager to do so to get the inhabitants of this place to show more of their powers so that Bentner could learn more. Which was something he wanted to, of course, but not with the price of endangering the relationships he had forged here already.

Morwena wanted to reply, but then the two newcomers interrupted the talk and she observed the scene for the moment. Their way of talking clearly implied that they weren't nobles and her Dear wasn't all that fond of such colloquial language - especially not out of the mouth of such a young girl -, so it was probably better if she did the talking for the moment. "Nice to meet you, too, deary! We're basically here on a surprise visit, which was so surprising that we didn't even see it coming ourselves. Originally, it was just a detour to get to our home, but now we're exploring a bit. We even got amazing gifts!"

Bentner was content with leaving this mainly to Morwena for the moment and just inclined his head. "Lady Lilynette, Lord Starrk, a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

“Visiting?” Lilynette repeated, looking confused. “We’ve never had visitors before. You’d be the first. Well, the first who didn’t get killed or turned into dust, of course.” She glanced at Halibel, who merely dipped her head, eyes closed as she was seemingly unconcerned with the conversation. Starrk, meanwhile, had managed to claw his way up from where he was laying. His hands were shoved in his pockets, and he looked rather sleepy. “Just Starrk, is fine. None of that ‘lord’ bull. We had one of those once; he was an ass.” Lilynette mumbled something along the lines of ‘speak for yourself,’ before folding her arms over her chest. “So if your visit was a surprise, I take it you didn’t anticipate meeting us.”

His eyes strayed to Tia, and the woman opened her briefly to lock gazes with him. The two shared a look, before Tia’s eyes shut once more. “Interesting. I’ll take it from here, Tia. You can run along and do your kingly stuff that you do. I’ll make sure no one roughs them up.” It seemed the two had some sort of familiar relationship, if Stark could speak with her in such a way. Tia merely nodded briskly, and turned to Bentner and Morwena. “I will find you once Yoshi has finished with your…tour. Then we shall send you home.” her hair swirled around her head as she turned and strolled leisurely down the hall in the opposite direction. Lilynette, however, was observing Morwena’s dress with a fascinated gaze.

“So this…you don’t wear white, huh? How come green, eh?” She placed a hand on her chin, stroking as she observed her. “Everyone around here wears white. I bet you two would look good in white too.” She shrugged as Starrk rolled his eyes, smacking her upside the head. “Hey!” she shouted, holding the bone white mask and looking annoyed. “Th’hell was THAT for, you lazy asshole?!” Starrk just smirked, looking bored and unconcerned. “Stop being so stupid, Lilynette.”

"Well, yes~ We met with one of your Arrancars by accident because we stumbled through a portal in Evelon into a desert. Then we were attacked by a giant bug and fell into an underground cave. The only portal your colleague could open for us was to this place because apparently, because of some stupid contest, portals through Evelon are problematic right now. And so we ended up here, clearly a surprise. We're not even from Evelon, so new worlds are very interesting for us." Morwena clearly liked smalltalk.

"I see, very well, then." Bentner inclined his head towards Starrk. He himself was a bit upset that no one called him a 'Lord' here, for this was his title, but if the people here had bad experiences with nobility, it was to be expected and maybe it meant even something different here - no one here seemed to even notice he was nobility despite the crests on his robes, after all.

Both Morwena and Bentner observed how Tia and Starrk communicated. Bentner nodded at Tia. "Very well, thank you." Tia's work had probably piled up already after dealing with him and Morwena for so long.

Morwena giggled. "I wore different colors once, too, but then my Dear told me that I look best in green because it compliments my eyes, so all my clothes are green now. I want to be beautiful for my Dear, after all. But where I'm from, people normally wear all kinds of colors - white, too. Sometimes those they like the most, sometimes those they look best in and sometimes those which seem to reflect their mood. My Dear wears brown robes for work always because it's the main color of his family, for example. Most people own clothes in different colors."
