“Oh?” Starrk drawled, looking uninterested. “You don’t say.” he started lazily strolling down the corridor, Yoshi, who had remained somewhat silent up until then, bouncing along in his wake, grabbing onto his arm and humming as she skipped along beside him. Lilynette, meanwhile, seemed interested in what Morwena had to say. “Huh. So you guys don’t wear white all the time? That’s just…weird.” She observed Morwena’s clothing critically. “And you have different styles and sets of clothing? That just sounds strange.” She marched along beside them, hands folded behind her head and her eyes gazing up at the ceiling.

“You’ve probably noticed, but there isn’t much variety here. Mostly because…we have no way to get clothes unless we visit the human world, and we can’t exactly do that all the time. Well, Yoshi can, but I doubt it’d be easy for her to pick out clothes for everyone here and bring them back.” She slanted a look at the two at her side. “Where exactly are you from? You smell like regular humans…for the most part.. There’s something off about you, though.”

"Well, yes, we have many different clothes and styles. Some humans have made it their profession to invent new clothes for everyone to wear and there are also those who make them out of fabric for a living." Morwena thought about it for a moment. "And well! There are certain kinds of paints specifically made for clothes, you know? Or different buttons and things like that, which are small and don't take much space. Everyone could color their clothes then or add some individual, small things to give more variety to them. Yoshi wouldn't have to carry much and she's so good at getting these things donated, too!"

Bentner watched Starrk. He wasn't sure what to make of the man - he seemed rude, mainly, but he obviously had authority if Tia trusted him so much. Then, however, Bentner decided to answer Lilynette's question instead. "We are from a kingdom called Pandovia. Our world has no name in itself, though. Your king told us that she considers Evelon the 'human world' and we are not from there, so maybe this is why things might seem off. Morwena also isn't a full human and we both are powerful mages, so it might be our aura, too."

“Paints?” Lilynette repeated. “Like the ones Yoshi brings me so we can create art?” She looked thoughtful. “I can put that on my clothes?” She looked down at her sparse clothing contemplatively, her fingers dancing along the edge of her tiny vest and bottoms. “Maybe I could make them match my…” She lifted a hand to trace the pink flame over the Hollow eye on her face. “That’d be cool.” Starrk’s voice drifted from up ahead, where Yoshi was still happily skipping along beside him and hugging his arm. “So you’re not form the human world? I wondered why you seemed different than the other humans I’ve come into contact with. Not that I have a lot of experience in that department.”

He glanced down at Yoshi, who was swinging her free arm along happily. “Where are we headed?” Yoshi hummed gleefully. “We’re going to see Nnoitora and Neliel, of course!” Starrk blanched, looking a little surprised. “You sure that’s a good idea?” Yoshi nodded and hummed again in affirmative. “Ooookay. If Tia said it was fine, then I don’t see why not. What about Twee and La?” Yoshi paused. “I hadn’t considered them. Should we see them first?” Starrk yawned, and glanced over his shoulder. “Ask your friends.” Yoshi nodded happily, and bounced back to Bentner and Morwena and Lilynette. “Heeeey!” she called, bouncing on her feet. “Tell me, do you want to see Nnoitora and Nel, or Miss Twee and Miss La?” Lilynette groaned quietly; she hated going to visit Twee and La. They were SO creepy.

"Yes, like that. There is special paint for clothes, though, so that if you have to wash them, the special paint stays on the fabric even when wet. There are stores in the human world which sell these things." Morwena didn't really know how to explain it better - she had no idea how much of Evelon Lilynette knew and it was also hard to say what to think of her; she looked like a child but her interactions with Starrk were more those of an adult.

"Well, our world is very similiar to Evelon, in the way that it's inhabited by mortals as well. We usually refer to our world as 'human world' as well. But indeed, there are differences, too - in Evelon, most people seem to have an animal form as well, while this is unheard of in our world, for example." Bentner trailed along as the last one of the group. He didn't like speaking to the back of Starrk, but if that man was too rude to walk next to those he was talking to, that was his problem. Bentner was too proud to do Starrk the favor and walk faster.

"Uh..." Morwena blinked confused at Yoshi's question. "We don't know your friends, deary, while you know both them and now us, too, a little bit, so you should probably decide that." She would still prefer the library over others, but well, hopefully, Yoshi would pick those who could help Morwena's Dear the most when it came to new knowledge.

“I wonder if Yoshi knows where to find that,” Lilynette commented to no one in particular. When Starrk stopped long enough, Lilynette darted forward and smacked the back of his head, hovering in mid-air for a brief second. “You’re such an impolite jackass!” the growled, obviously tired of his apathetic laziness. “Can’t you just talk to people the polite way?!” Starrk rubbed the back of his head, eyes squeezed shut in pain. “Ow, damn it, Lilynette, that hurt!” he growled.

Yoshi looked on, amused, before she turned back to Bentner and Morwena. “Twee and La are twins, something that’s very rare in our world; almost impossible, actually. They’ve spent a lot of time in the human world, unlike most of us here, but they don’t often talk about their experiences. Lilynette thinks they’re creepy, because they finish each other’s sentences. Nnoitora and Neliel are different. Nel is very kind, and welcoming. Nnoitora…is very…rude and mean, but he’ll behave himself, mostly, if Neliel is around. So…I guess whichever sounds more appealing to you?”

"I probably could show her in Evelon", Morwena stated. Since it wasn't Pandovia, she could walk around in Evelon freely, after all. And, because she had understood that her Dear obviously wanted to establish tight relations to this place, she added, beaming, "I'm sure I can figure out pretty quickly where this silver foil is sold as well." If her guess was right, it was probably the next supermarket anyway.

Bentner watched how Lilynette smacked Starrk; not only was it amusing to see how such a small girl had such control over the rude man, but her hovering was also interesting. He wondered if it was magic or a natural ability of hers, but decided not to ask for the moment. "Well, lady, you told us about that accident that makes Lady Neliel change into a child, didn't you? I must admit, that sounds very interesting since I have never heard of something like it before. Since we know Evelon quite a bit by now ourselves, it might maybe more interesting for all sides to meet with someone they have not much experience with themselves." And the men could maybe be rude to each other, if this was how all men here normally were.

Yoshi’s eyes widened, and practically teared up around the edges. “You…can show me where to find the shiny foil?” She quite literally flew at Morwena, wrapping her arms around her and snuggling against her. “You’re the bestest best human ever!” She’d have to do something special in return, like draw a super special art piece for her. She sniffed a little and withdrew, while Lilynette and Starrk looked on in amusement. “Oh yes! Then we shall go see Nel! Starrk can just smack Nnoitora to shut him up if he bothers us.”

She clearly had a lot of faith in Starrk’s ability to ‘shut Nnoitora up.’ “After all, he is the Primera Espada, so he’s super strong!” She turned and skipped back over to the so-called ‘Primera,’ grabbing his arm in hers. “Mister Bentner, how come you’re so interested in Nel’s accident?” Yoshi asked, as Lilynette shrugged and strolled alongside them.

Morwena giggled when she suddenly had Yoshi in her arms. "I can most certainly try, deary. No promises, but I think I have an idea where to find it and even if I'm mistaken, I have seen the foil often enough in Evelon to describe it and its uses to other humans who, I am sure, can tell me where to find it." She glanced at Bentner - she would have to get permission to do this, after all, instead of working on her magic - and got a nod.

Bentner wondered what a 'Primera Espada' was - maybe this one was the one who gave the title of king willingly to Tia? He couldn't see any '1' tattooed so far, though. But if this was true, then this was clearly a good thing. Starrk would make a horrible king, that was pretty obvious. "Well, if someone would suddenly turn into a child in our world, it would have been caused either by very powerful magic or by wrong use of a magical artifact. And even if it wasn't magic here, it might have been something that was similiar - or could at least cause similiar effects, so naturally, I'm interested", Bentner answered Yoshi's question.

Yoshi’s eyes shone brightly as she skipped around the two, her head swaying side to side. “I’m fairly sure it wasn’t a magical accident,” she commented, thinking about it for a moment. Lilynette frowned; were they really going to see Nnoitora and Nel? She had no desire to deal with that crap. “I’ll see you all later. Starrk, you lazy ass, stay with them and look after them. Or Halibel-sama will be maaaaad~” Lilynette’s sing-song voice turned maliciously gleeful at the end as she waved to Bentner and Morwena and skipped off down the white halls. Starrk sighed, rolling his eyes and slouching along.

“Come on,” He muttered. “They’re in the library.” Yoshi looked surprised as they turned down another endless corridor, and stopped by one of the large double doors. “Really? I thought Nnoitora hated reading,” she commented to herself as Starrk pushed open the door with one white-gloved hand. Inside, a woman with long, teal hair swathed in white from head to toe, and what appeared to be a ram skull on her head, was sitting quietly in a chair, a book in her lap as she read studiously. On the couch across from her, a very tall, lanky man was stretched out, one arm hanging off the couch as he stared vacantly at the ceiling; a giant sickle was leaning against the back of the couch beside him.

“This sucks, Nel. I don’t want to be in here-” His whine was cut off at the arrival of the others, and he blinked over at them curiously. Nel, on the other hand, lifted her head, a wide smile stretching across her face. “Yoshi-chan, Starrk-kun! How nice of you to visit us! And…who have you brought with you?” She stood and clapped her book shut, sweeping into a formal bow. “Hello there! My name is Neliel! You may call me Nel! And this is Nnoitora! Say hello, Nnoitora-kun!” Nnoitora just garbled something unintelligible, looking rather cross on the couch.

"But it had to be a supernatural accident of some kind, correct?" How else would someone be able to turn back into a child, even if that person wasn't a human but an Arrancar? Bentner looked after Lilynette as she left while Morwena waved. At least Yoshi was still with them in addition to this rude man.

Both Morwena and Bentner perked up at hearing that they were going to the library, though, since this was where they had wanted to go all along. Morwena beamed; of course her Dear had picked the correct persons to meet, her Dear was just wonderful like that! They looked around interested as they entered the library, more interested in its size and books than the other people in there, but as they were adressed, Bentner bowed his head respectfully as well. "Lady Nel, Lord Nnoitora, pleased to make your acquaintance. I am Bentner Eilenberg and this is Morwena Ildenrawk. I apologize for disturbing you in your studies." Disturbing people while those were in a library was a horrible thing to do, after all - both Bentner and Morwena hated being disturbed during their work there as well.

Morwena quickly bowed her head as well, staying silent for the moment since her Dear was doing introductions this time. She wondered if all the males in this kingdom were that rude, though. Her Dear had little tolerance for that - good thing the females were nicer.

“Oh, that’s quite all right!” Nel beamed, clapping her hands together in a perfect imitation of Yoshi. “I was just reading the most lovely book! The Velveteen Rabbit! Are you familiar with it?” perhaps they were, as it was a book from the human realm, after all. Nnoitora looked uninterested, and scratched at his ear with a scowl. “Whatever,” he snorted, flopping over onto his back on the couch, one long, lanky leg dangling off. He looked almost too tall to lay on it, and if he were to stand, he’d cap nearly 7 and a half feet. Nel ignored Nnoitora pointedly, and motioned to the vacant chairs in the room.

“Please, sit down!’ she chirped, holding out her arms for Yoshi, who happily obliged and leapt into her lap, sitting half on Nel and half on the edge of the large armchair. Starrk looked annoyed, but slouched over to one of the vacant armchair and flopped down in it. “It’s so nice to see other humans here,” Nel prattled cheerfully. “You must be from the human world, after all. I take it Yoshi is showing you around? How do you like Las Noches?”

"Can't say I have heard of it, it might be a book from Evelon, though. And my Dear and I pretty much only read books about magic anyway." Since it was obviously smalltalk-time, Morwena took over now. She sat down, followed shortly after by Bentner, who obviously would have rather checked out the library and leave the talking to Morwena. "We are from a kingdom called Pandovia. It's basically located in a 'human world', too, but from what I've gathered you only refer to Evelon as 'human world' and we're not from there."

"This kingdom is very different from our world and we are grateful for Lady Yoshi showing us around", Bentner joined in, answering the later questions. "It is a great opportunity for us to learn more. It's very fascinating here." He paused. "You said 'other humans'? Are you saying there are humans besides us here?" That was new.

“Really?” Nel’s eyes widened slightly, her face a mixture of surprise and innocence. “Well, we might have some books about magic in here. I haven’t exactly gone through all of them.” She indicated the vast, white marble book shelves filled to the brim with books of all kinds. “I do enjoy reading, and I’m slowly working my way through all the books here. But as you can see…it will take some time.” She smiled, a bit embarrassed, and tilted her head.

“I wasn’t aware that there were other worlds besides…well, the ones Halibel-sama told us about. I’ve never been to any world but our own. It all sounds very strange.” Nel smiled and sat back as Yoshi fiddled with her long, teal hair. “There were, once. They came here a long time ago and ended up causing a lot of damage. But I rather liked them. They were so cute!” She grinned happily, before Yoshi prodded her shoulder. “Nel, they wanna know ‘bout your accident,” she said with a bright smile. Nel looked surprised, and turned back to Bentner and Morwena. “Oh? You have questions for me?”

"Are all the books here from the human world?" Morwena asked. If they were all from Evelon, they could probably find them there as well. "And with all those books, you don't have a librarian or at least some sorting system? That's pretty inconvenient! But reading all books is such a worthy goal!" Morwena had forgotten how many hundreds of books she had read so far and her Dear still had many more.

"It was quite the surprise for us when we were able to visit a world that didn't belong to our Creator as well", Bentner agreed. "Before that, we also had no idea that worlds besides our four ones existed as well." He frowned. "Causing a lot of damage? Were they warriors or mages? From what I've seen of your race, you should be vastly stronger than an average human and your king also said something about Hollows attacking humans if they wouldn't be around Arrancars."

Well, Yoshi sure was blunt! Morwena giggled. "Yoshi told us you can turn into a child. As professional mages, we are a bit interested in how that came to happen, since, at least in our world, it would have to be from a supernatural occurance."

“Yeah, they are,” Starrk intoned dryly from where he sat. “it’s not like any of us wants to write a book, or even cares to. Yoshi just brings them back form the human world and sticks them wherever.” Yoshi grinned widely. “Yep! According to color! I like colors that match!” she chirped, sounding pleased with herself. Starrk waved a hand dismissively, looking tired. “See?” he leaned his head back on the chair and sighed. Nel shot Starrk an annoyed look, but quickly refocused her attention on Bentner and Morwena. “Oh, well…warriors, I guess you could say. They were here to retrieve something our…former king had taken from them. They got her back, of course, but they certainly caused a lot of damage. Nearly killed Nnoitora-kun too!” she finished brightly, to which Nnoitora just waved her off, making unintelligible grumbling noises.

“They were…very, very strong. On level with some of the Arrancar here. But it all worked out for everyone in the end. They got rid of our former king, and we were left alone, for the most part. Hollow do attack humans, but mostly just their departed souls. They don’t often interact with the living ones. Arrancar are a bit…different.” She shrugged one shoulder, still smiling. Yoshi leaned against Nel, looking faintly amused as the teal haired woman looked surprised. “Well, yes. It’s not a voluntary thing.” She directed a glare in Nnoitora’s direction, and he purposely rolled so his back was to her. “You see, when our order here was first established under the old king, I was Espada number 3, before Halibel-sama arrived. Nnoitora didn’t like that. He…” She blushed slightly, looking embarrassed.

“He blindsided me with an attack, and split open my mask.” She tapped her forehead, where a large scar ran down her face from a crack in the helmet. “When it happened, my reiatsu leaked out of the wound, and instead of killing me, it turned me into a child and erased my memories. It happens from time to time, when I expend too much energy in a fight. But otherwise, I don’t turn into a child that often anymore.”
