The following days were the same. They would train with the soldiers all day and then Amael would quietly excuse herself. She still wasn’t comfortable in the group. It wasn’t long before she was working with the big group though, and as things progressed she allowed herself to relax. Amael was unable to ignore her suspicion of the soldiers. Why had they come to train a few healers? She had already taken too long figuring out why she was so uneasy, and now she felt like she had a gigantic neon billboard flashing in her face. Not that she could share her suspicion with anyone. Even Gedeliah had become less human over time. They wouldn’t understand her thoughts, they’d turn on her.
