..The young Sahound stumbled over the hot dunes of sand.
"Heroism consist of hanging on one moment longer..." she whispered to herself.
"I must find water..." she thought.Illusions misted her vision of endless oceans and rivers.She new that the illusions were just fragments of her imagination and confusion.Her memory was  a blur of how she ended up there in Wilt'no Desert."Heroism consist of hanging on one moment longer..."she said again...

...Keyuton was still confused.What was she here for and what was she doing?"I'm mad..."She thought to herself. She stopped in her tracks...a chilled wind blew up against her back.She looked at the sky."Its dusk..already?"She must of been so hot and confused she didn't even notice what time of the day it was.

She dragged herself on for she knew desert nights were bone chillingly cold and she needed food and water.She was on the lookout for barrel cacti.A kind a cactus which the center is filled with fresh cold water.She was also on the look out for cacti fruits.Cactus fruits are sweet and tender..if she didnt find any of those she would eat bones of dead creatures if she had to...

...Dusk fell...Keyuton squinted into the void of the cold desert.Was it her mind or was she seeing a small settlement far in the dark distance.No it was not a illusion it was true!She braced herself at full speed.Running as fast as her weak legs could carry her, she jumped over the bones of some dead creature and landed with a thud.She paced herself again to run, run ,run as fast as her body could take her.She reached the camp.

"Hey!Who are you?"

"Looks like another water begger to me..."

The voices grew louder...

"What are you here for!?"Shouted somthing or somebody.

"Uh..I'm here to stay the night..I have been traveling for days..Im possibly sick...and Im hungry and thirsty..."Keyuton begged.
She started to feel dizzy and soon the images of the desert vanished...

"Hey..hey..kid wake up!"

"Hmmm...WHAT?"

"Kid..you fell asleep in the middle of our camp!"

Keyuton opened her eyes to reveal a Saffron Tali looking down at her.

"C'mon breakfat is ready!"The Tali said.

"Uh...Who are you?"Keyuton asked.

"Kanu"The female Tali said briskly.

*LATER*

"So how old are you?"Keyuton ask Kanu.

"19."She said

"No kidding..Im 19!"Said Keyuton.

"So have you been living here all your life?"said Keyuton

"No..My father is a General in the war"She said.He was sent here so my entire family came along..."

"So where do you come from?"Kanu asked...

"I-I..don't know..."Said Keyuton...

(OOC: You must feel lonely XD Mind if I join?)

A huge shadow loomed over the two as an Imperial Hollowheart landed, sand whirling into a mini dust storm as he did so. "New arrival?" Contivity muttered as he studied the female Sahound. "Where did she come from?" He didn't seem very friendly. In fact, he was a bit distant and anti-social. War had hardened him. "The name's Contivity." The Hollowheart muttered, adressing the ground. With that, he scooted a bit away, talking to some other people.

Kanu and Keyuton followed Contivity to the spot where he was sitting.Kanu sat beside his huge body.
Kanu gave the Hollowheart a cold stare.

Grabing Contivity's attention she said "Her name is Keyuton...she came to us in her time of need and we accepted her..." Kanu and Contivity looked back and the shivering calico colored ball that was Keyuton staring at Hollowheart.

"Uhm...h-h-h-h-hi...?"said Keyuton.

To Kanu...Keyuton was a annoying little bursting ball of questions.But by the most Keyuton was a dirty little begger to Contivity...

Contivity brushed off Kanu's cold stare with one of his own. "Nice to meet you too."He obviously didn't mean it. Geez, why did these people have to pester him? The Hollowheart glowered at the two and muttered to himself, "Laying around...there's work to be done...the war...we don't have time to take in every stray we find."Contivity suddenly reared up, most likely startling anyone who was nearby. There was no reason to be afraid though: he was merely looking at the horizon for any threats. "War going on...taking on refugees that don't do anything..."Wow, Contivity sure seemed like an optimistic guy...

"Well.." said Keyuton "That Contivity guy seemed optimistic." "Yeah...shure..." said Kanu. Suddenly two objects popped up in the distance.The two were heading to the camp.Soon they were up the sand dune that the camp was settled on."Greetings..."said the one on the left. "Hello,we are here to give some news to you entire family."said the one on the right.Kanu soon, whith Keyuton's help the whole family was joined in the middle."Today we are her to tell you some sad news..."said one.Suddenly Kanu's eyes were struck whith fear.She was afraid somthing happend like they lost the war or somthing."This morning..."the one on the left said and looked at Kanu then turned his head He walked around the small circle he was in "Kanu,Tario(That was her brother.),and Fern (That was her mother.) your father and husband....has died...."

Contivity couldn't care less about the family relations, but if the mentioned had died, the Hollowheart would want to know how and where. "Soldiers,"He gravely said, "How did this happen? Weren't they simply patrolling the borders?"Maybe some of the enemy soldiers have flooded in? Somehow slipped in? If so, they would have to bulk up their defenses and prepare for the worst.

He did not feel the least bit of sympathy for Kanu. In war, you had to make sacrifices and one of those was any soft feelings. On the battlefield, you face death many times and most likely give death to those you fight. The battle-hardened Contivity was more concerned with strategy, tracking the enemy's movements.

Kanu, suddenly, took off down the sand dune.Keyuton at her tail."Kanu wait!"she cried "Kanu...KANU!"Kanu kept her pace fast and swift.She glided over the sand like a bird.
Then Keyuton out of breath stopped she watched her new freind disappear into the sands like the sun when it sets.Then a huge gust of wind picked up.A sandstorm..just her luck.A wall of sand has risen over the skies darkening the ground.Keyuton stood there letting the sand whip at her face...

Contivity growled at the rashness of the Tali. How stupid could she be? "Living here for months..." He began to mumble to himself again. If anyone listened closely, they would have picked up a few words: "Acting...a spoiled brat...endanger...all..." He took to the sky and flew after Kanu, shouting to the privates below, "Increase defense and patrol around here! If I'm not back by dawn, do not send a search-and-rescue team, do you hear?" With a flap of his powerful wings, Contivity gave chase, his mind whirling with fury. Her parents and family were dead, she should get over it and not go running off, possibly endangering the entire camp! After all...

Kanu has hot.She needed water.The sandstorm blinded her eyes so she could not see clearly.She was starting to see things like rivers and oceans.

"Kaaannnuuu..."a voice said.

"Kaaannnuuu..."It said again.

Kanu saw a blured figure running in the distance.

"Dad?"she said.

"Kaaannnuuu..."

"DAD!"she yellped loudly.

She ran to the illusion of the figure that was running to her.

"Ow!"

She looked up, all it was was a cactus in almost the shape of a running Tali.
The noise calling her was just the winds of the hot desert.

She looked at the sky it was mid-day.Where was she.She could not see the camp anymore...

Contivity bravely flew against the sandstorm, ignoring the buffeting winds, ignoring the stinging sand. How annoying was it, and what sense did that Tali and Sahound have to run off like that? He wanted to roar out his anger at them when he found them...
Of course, he wouldn't do that. With another growl, the Hollowheart glanced down, trying to discern the shapes below. There! With a satisfied grumble, he landed in front of the Saffron Tali, hoping not to startle her. "Why did you run off like that, soldier?" Contivity snapped, his eyes ablaze with rage. "Do you have no sense at all?"

Kanu looked up...there...stood the Hollowheart.It was so hot she forgot his name for a second."Oh...uh...uh..Contivity right?" she looked at him."Umm.. you didn't see my...uh...freind yet right?"she asked."Oh..and how am I gonna get home...?"she asked in confusion.
