Fiag padded up beside the female Frost, his maw split into a giddy grin. He nudged her shoulder to get her attention and puffed out his chest proudly. This had been quite a bit of work on his part, but it would be worth it if she liked it.
"What do you think?" he asked, eyes flitting between her and the other dragons gathering in the hall. Long slabs of stone had been arranged like tables and lined with food. After one or two Paragon got the idea of seating in little spaces along the sides, the rest seemed to be picking it up.
"It's perfect, Fiag," Diana said, finding herself a spot. "We should probably get started, though."
"Right!" The Primal gave Alastor, the brown Ambia at the head of the table, a quick nod, then began. "Hey, everyone! Welcome to the Spire's first ever Thanks-for-Life Day. It's traditional at these things to share something you're thankful for before you eat, so, um, let's go down the table and do that, alright?"
