The Carpetfang studied these great beasts before him, pondering their words. Perhaps they did have a motive, though sinister was something it was not. He flickered his tongue one last time, tasting the winds for cooler temperatures.
"Your logic is confusing, Garagnir." He said to Theurge. When Dallin spoke, Bog did not shift his eyes to him, merely took everything in.
"While you have interesting points..." He hissed lightly. "I know only the truth of knowledge from other creatures. By studying them...not undertaking a journey with them. Other creatures only teach how and where you can find them at their weakest moments. That is not something one shows willingly."
Puffing up the fur on the back of his neck, Bog took the oppurtunity before him to exit without retreating. "I find little point in following. Perhaps," he paused, taking a moment to glare at the two humans, ""after I have travelled on my own, we will be granted the chance to meet again. And at the next meeting, we will see who has the more true knowledge..."
In sudden motions, Bog rose off the sands. Craning his neck towards the earth he plunged through the hot sands near the group, causing a small quake to run through the earth around them. His long body quickly followed suit until his feathered tail finally disappeared down the tunnel after him. A cool feeling rose from meters under the hot surface, giving the closest members of the group a temporary burst of cool, refreshing air.
The sands were still afterwards--no rolling waves as the carpetfang left the prescence of the others (as he travelled deeply. The sand began filling in the crater he had left and that was it. The colbalt Carpetfang disappeared into the desert.
[ Bog has left the RP--thanks everyone ]
"I have been hidden, scorned, adored, worshiped, forsaken, coveted and banished more times than I care to count. But the one thing all those experiences cannot steal from me is the gentle soul I was born with, the kind heart I have molded, and the bright ideals for the future that have lit my way through the darkness of the past."
