With temperatures rising over 143°C (289.40°F) in most areas, the only relief is during the nights when it is much cooler. All travelers are advised to keep to the local towns on the desert's outskirts and avoid traveling too far from civilization. (+3 Endurance, +2 Defense)

Wai, whaddabout girly? She help with name. Chi was sure she would help. After all, he was pretty sure that was were he had gotten his name from. And if she had thought of such a cool name, there had to others. Just one cool name was not enough.

Sha. Bu war? It hadn't seen her since the storm. The thing that had hurt him a lot. Maybe she was the one who stopped it. It wished it could stop storms. Now they needed to find her.

I dun know. Chi took off into the air, hoping to see her. All he sw was some vultures though. He flew a little longer, then decided to get some food. He was lucky enough to spot another spider.

It couldn't leave the pool of water. The rest of the area was just too hot for it. Maybe its' new friend might teach it how to stay out? It hoped so. Then they could hang out together more often.

Chi quickly swooped down to grab it, but mised. He tried a second time, and still didn't grab it. Well, he wasn't giving up that easily. He tried again. Maybe the girl should have picked more loyal companions.

It was feeling a bit hungry as well. But it wasn't sure what to eat. It couldn't remember from before, what it had ben fed. A second spider inched towards it. It grabbed for it, and felt better after holdinging it for a second. The dead, twitching spider was dropped next to it.

Chi finally caught the spider in a talon, but it was struggling. He could barely hold onto it. So he flew back to his tree to eat it there. It was to hard to try eating while flying. And he ate this one quicker than the one before.

We fin' girly now, kay? it asked, feeling very refreshed. Though it knew something wasn't right. The ground next to him, that was dry, was shaking. Was it going to be an earthquake? It didn't like those.

(55/55 Now I can leave! *Happydance*)

The girl had to dig herself free of several layers of sand. And, at the same time, had been forced to cover her mouth with fabric as not to choke on sand. It wasn't a very pleasan journey, as one could imagne. Though she was mainly worried about her two pets. If they were dead, she might never be able to forgive herself.

Imagine her suprise at the greeting she recieved. Chi, wo flew directly to her shoulder, singing loudly. She would never have guessed he might be so pleased to see her. She thought he would have flown away, or at least be angry for her somewhat desertion. But, in all, he seemed rather happy she was back.

The second critter, the drooling Nemuwit, was no longer droling. It didn't seem as pleased as Chi was, but it hadn't flown at her throat yet. Instead, it hovered beside her, water evaporationg quicker than it could drip. Now they could all leave the desert. And as for a name, for she swore some random thought in her head wanted to name it, she finally chose as she walked away, realizing how close the bridge was in the daylight. What was the Nemuwit named? Xun. It seemd to fit it.
