Glacial Serraptor

The Serraptor is limp in every way but is still breathing

Lyze bent his head closer. "Can you get up?" He asked, softly to him. He also started looking around for things that would hold water. but there appeared to be none. "If he cannot walk, then I will carry him on m back to the water hole." Lyze then commented.

Suddenly the Serraptors eyes open and he quickly gets up looking panicked, "Where's the nearest water source!", he asks Tulline.

"Thanks", he says and speeds off toward the water source, sending up a cloud of sand behind him.

Lyze shook his head as he started to walk back towards the water hole. He stopped and looked back to tulline. "Come on now, before it gets any hotter." He started. "Also, we never desided if we were to spend the night here, or move on now." He said, as he started to walk off again.

Jazz had lost track of what had just happened looking at the Serraptor that just came running past him, "Wow I missed a lot must have been day dreaming" he said his fur soaked "Sorry." Jazz called to Lyze and Tulline. He now looked at the Serraptor than started to fallow the others now using his mind to cool him self off. He started to ponder why such a pet would be out here.

At the watering hole the Serraptor was drinking as much as he could, trying to recover from the black out.

the Serraptor got up and looked around, remembering the creatures that had helped him he looked around, trying to spot them in the distance. Over in the distance he saw them walking in the shade of a sand dune. the Serraptor stretched his legs and ran over to them. "Hey", he said, "Thanks for helping me."

Lyze sat down to take a quick brake. He nodded to the Serraptors thanks. Then looked to Tulline. "You must be careful of those mirages. Ask one of us next, to see if it is real."He replied.

"A good way to tell if a mirage is real or not is by smell, if the mirage is of an oasis look for the smell of foliage or greenery, if it is of something else then just look for a change of scent, and by the way, my name is Frostbite, but can call be Frost or Frosty, my owner would call me Frosty." then he looked out into space, lost in thought.

'Yeah, I guess your right, smell isn't the best use, I usually use hearing to tell, my owner would always strengthen our hearing before anything else, hearing is the key to surviving out hear she would always say. With hearing you can tell where there is an oasis or water source, if the sand is shifting and where, and if there is a predator sneaking up on you. But hearing didn't help her then."
