Lyze shrugged his shoulders to what Jazz had said. "I don't know how long it will take. But I hope we get there soon. The suns going to make the desert unbelievebly hot soon." He said, looking around. Just as he was afraid of, the sands were starting to shift.

Jazz also started to watch the sands he could feel it shift beneath his feet. He also felt that he could feel another pet watching them. He turned and looked at others "do you feel that?" He asked them.

Lyze could feel it also, it felt heavy. Almost sickening, he looked around him. "We can't stop!" He yelled out, warning the other. He knew that if they stopped, for even a secound right now. The shifting inthe sands would swallow them. They would then be transported to another part of the desert. "Keep moving!" He yelled out. They need to find a place that wasn't moving.

Lyze ran to where Tulline was standing. He leaped upon the rock, then looked to see if Jazz was coming. "Come on Jazz, ump onto this rock!" He yelled out to him. Lyze looked around, the sands where shift worse then normal. It's lie they had a mind of their own. Lyze would have looked around to find out why this was happening. But his eyes were glued to Jazz. Will he make it? He thought in his head.

Jazz took a leap for the rocks he had some how found a footing on something beneath the sand so he could jump to the rock. Once he was on the rock he wondered how that had happened.

Lyze was happy that Jazz had made it. And let out his breath he was holding. He looked around, all the sand was moving. Not just one spot, it looked like the ocean in a storm. The sun was getting hotter, they needed to start moving again. But they couldn't, even if they moved fast. Lyze knew the sand was shifting to dangerously, they wouln't move fast eough. He loked all around, but it seemed like no hope. What will we do, there's nothing to do! He yelled inside his head.

Lyze looked at the rocks, they seemed like a way out. But some of them were small and short, and occasionaly the sands would splash ontop of them. "It seemes a bit dangerous, but it also seems like the only way." He answered. They couldn't stay here forever, the hot sun would surely kill them.

Lyze nodded. "We should head for that. But be careful, and don't rush." He announced to them. He knew that one wrong move and the sands had you. It wasn't that you would die from the sands. It's just you don't know where they would take you. And with the sun almost to it's peek, you didn't want to end up somewhere without shade. He looked back to Jazz. "You first." He said, wanting to be last just incase one were to fall.

Jazz nodded and leaped to the rock he landed on the rock just fine thanks to some tail maneuvers. He then looked back at Lyze "Do you think you could jump to?" he said at the moment he wished he had wings.
