Deuce tried to wrap his tail around the broken pillar to ease into a stop, but he had as much success as the others did, letting out a chatter of annoyed and frightened screeches, clicks, and shrill whistles as he at least kept his balance. It was harder with Levi clinging to his back for dear life with those sharp claws of his. He'd turn back and tear Levi off of his back if he wasn't so concerned with..you know. Living. That was pretty important.
Klaus let out a constant shriek as she clung to the rope. Her holding onto the rope was what managed to keep her on track as she popped up into the air on some bumps in the column. Some of the supplies that hadn't been eaten by the sandpit earlier were finally clattering down around her, landing on the rapidly-approaching floor.
Deuce hit it first with a shrill roar as he skidded across the dusty ground a few feet and landed smack into a sturdy stone wall, the force of impact cutting off his air and causing him to sputter as he tried to move some, being quite sore and all from the ride. Thankfully, nothing seemed broken, but it was hard to tell when he was in a sudden daze. He'd have to get a rub-down, and hopefully if there was any damage, his Gallizar heritage would keep him going long enough to get proper attention.
Levi, however, was faring better. The Gallizar's body and the load of supplies on his shoulders cushioned the abrupt landing for him. He was incredibly sore, but other than the air getting knocked out of him, he was fine. That is, until he saw the others coming down after him.
"No, no, no, no, no!!" He tried to scramble away, but his reaction was slower than he'd wished, and had the misfortune of not being able to get out of the way in time.
With the good fortune of being last in line, Klaus wouldn't suffer as much, which was just as well, given how fragile humans were compared to animals, especially young ones. (( Klaus = :3 )) That wasn't to say she wouldn't be feeling this in a little while, though..
