Yukiko depleted her third Tequila and of course she had noticed Quote's glare at her. After all she was female and such things couldn't slip her attention. She turned around to him, trying to make a serious expression, but his countenance was too funny. "What's the matter pal? Have I done something wrong? You can have one too, if you want!"

Ryo looked at Van closely as the Nuvuldan girl appeared between them. Her fur was slightly humid from dancing and her breast lifted and lowered* from the deep breaths that Van made to regain her breath. He wanted to say something, but only stupid things like >you seem to be quite out of breath< came to his mind, and so he rather shut his mouth again and said nothing.

Hrm. o3o I think I would use the classic "rose and fell" rather than "lifted and lowered" since the latter makes me think of picking up a box or something. xD

Quote simply let out a soft growl and returned to his girly drink - some sort of fancy sunrise junk. He continued to watch the other three, fur bristling slightly. He suddenly stopped drinking. What the heck?! He glared at his drink angrily. He didn't remember ordering that. Really, why would mister manly man order something so fruity - although he had to admit to himself, it didn't taste too bad. He waved the newbie over and ordered for something manly. No, really, his specific request was Get me something manly, idiot! He was not a happy drunk.

Van had, by some miracle, gained a decent level of perception. It wasn't exactly acute, but it was better than normal. She happily accepted more water, and saw Ryo staring at her in the corner of her eye as she was about to chug that glass once more.

What's up? She asked, cocking her head a tad out of curiosity. Was there something on her face? Well no duh, there was something on her face; she'd splattered herself with paint! Of course, that seemed to have happened ages ago in Van-land.

Yukiko cozied up to Quote, a little grin on her face as she saw his reaction to the girly drink. She wrapped her tails around his back and shoved a glass of Tequila over to him. She said nothing. She just sat there smiling.

In the meantime Ryo choke over his drink as Van addressed herself to him. He coughed and his drink gushed out of his nose. It was so embarrassing. If he wouldn't be covered in pelt, Van could easily see him turning red. "Nothing!" he said quickly, holding his nose closed with his paw and turned around.

Quote, though still a little tense, couldn't deny her offer. That would be rude of him! And Quote couldn't be rude; he was a gentleman! He gave her his thanks and set to work on being a gentleman.

Van took a quick, hissing breath through her teeth.

Ooh, that's gotta burn! She said with a wince. Well, at least you didn't drown in it! She let out a burst of laughter. I remember this one time, we were having a special dinner, and the boss nearly drowned when one of the smarties told her a joke. I didn't think it was funny, but she and the other smarts were laughin' up a storm. Well, she would've if she weren't drowning in her soda. She'd been giggling through the story, and finally let out another laugh. It was great!

Yukiko was glad that Quote hadn't denied her offer. While he drank the obviously manly drink she purred, her tails still wrapped around him. "Is that what you had in mind?" she asked him. She hadn't even noticed that Ryo radiated his drink through his nose and now was sitting there with squint eyes.

"OUCH!" he proclaimed "That burns like hell!"
He grabbed a napkin and tried to drain his nose. As he finally turned around to Van he gave her his best Aren't-I'm-funny smile.
"You seem to be more relaxed now." he said to her as he recognized her satisfied expression. "This dancing thing seem to cause positive effects!"

Quote made no comment. Instead, he drained his glass of fluids. That sounds kinda creepy.

Van giggled at Ryo for no apparent reason. Of course, this was Van, so she didn't really need a reason, at least in her mind. She grinned about the dancing comment.

Yeah, it has tons! She mewed. Not only is it tons of fun, it's also exercise, so you don't have to run around or something. She nodded, a faux-wise look on her face until she burst into a bout of laughter.

Ryo considered for a moment. He was really interested in this whole dancing thing, but he had never tried it before. He was afraid he would make a fool of himself if he would set a foot on the dancefloor.

Then again he already WAS looking like a fool, radiating his drink through his nose and having neon color in his face. He turned around to Van, shyly scratching his head as he said "Would......would you show me how to dance?"

Well of course I can show you! Van scoffed. Any of them can show you how to dance!! She gestured towards the other dancers with her paw. But in order to dance, you have to feel the music, y'know? It wasn't exactly a difficult thing to do; the music was so loud that it made the various liquids in the many glasses and bottles move. Heck, it was loud enough to make it difficult for one to breathe! Not that the creatures there cared, really, so long as they got to have some fun.

Sorry this is so late! D: There was a weird illness around school; Migraine and vertigo. x-x Ugh. Was not fun. And, my brother makes the music that loud in the truck. o3o

Of course, any of them could show him how to dance! But the truth was, that he wanted to learn it from HER.
Ryo slid off his stool and approached the dance floor. He fel the beat deep down in his guts and the hammering base almost took his breath away.
>What an awesome feeling< he thought, as every single hair on his body vibrated because of the sound waves. Suddenly he noticed that one of his hind paws began to tap to the beat, and shortly after the second hind paw. Before he knew what was happening his back was moving rhythmically to the music.
Wide-eyed he looked around to get sight of Van.

Van was already in the zone. She'd followed Ryo out onto the dance floor, but she had definitely taken the lead in movement. Her body was already twisting, turning, bouncing, and simply flowing to the music. It was kind of like watching cornstarch and water bouncing on an amp covered in plastic... Albeit, she wasn't as globulous or bouncy, but she was definitely just as in-sync.

While she was dancing and having a good time, Quote was drinking and occasionally snacking. Dull, yes, but he didn't really care at this point.

Ryo tried hard to get the right flow, but his movements looked as if he was some kind of robotic dancer. Of course he danced in step, but his movements weren't as smooth as Van's movements. She's got the right flow and knew how to move her body to the music. Ryo closed his eyes and tried to feel the music, strangely he somehow knew that he had to feel the vibes. For a short moment he stopped dancing, just listened to the music. Then again his paws began to pat on the dance floor and his butt began to move rhythmically to the music. It seemed as if he had got the knack of dancing. Ryo smiled while he was dancing, still keeping his eyes closed.

In the meantime Yukiko tried to carry on with Quote, but he seemed to be a tough nut to crack. She looked at him, her tails were still wrapped around him. "Do you want another shot?" she asked him, holding the bottle of Tequila in one of her paws.

Van did a spinning, rippling movement, and saw Ryo in doing so. She grinned at his success and continued with her own movements, remaining tame to allow him to get caught up in the joys of the dance floor before she took it up a few notches; didn't want to embarrass him now, did we? No, most certainly not.

Quote slid his glass in her direction in silent acceptance, allowing him to flash Yukiko a grin.

I like women that know how to pour. Obviously, he'd been doing too well at washing his cares away; he was beginning to talk absolute nonsense.

After a while of dancing and spinning around, Ryo had to take a little break. He was totally out of breath from this dancing stuff, so he headed for the bar and placed himself on the stool next to his sister.
"A bottle of water, please!" he said, as the barkeeper asked him what he would like to drink. As he finally got the bottle he drunk it off in one go.

"Well, are we going to stay the whole night in this club? Or are there any other plans for this extraordinary night?" Yukiko asked Quote while he drunk off the next shot of Tequila.

Van quickly noticed the liquid kuhna had headed back to the bar and followed, only slightly winded. Her fur seemed to be glossed in a sheen of sweat, though it wasn't her own; many creatures had packed into a small area, and had rubbed their exhaustion onto her repellant fur. She took a seat next to Ryo and asked for more soda water.

Quote allowed a sly grin to creep on his face. We could head back to me an' Van's place; 'm sure no one would mind. He attempted a wink, but it mixed into a tired-looking blink of his eyes.
