She had missed. Lovely. And now whatever that creature was was on her back! As Led scaled up her back, Faye's tails trashed about wildly, not controlled by her consciousness. Instead, it was almost as if instinct had taken over. Honestly, she probably didn't even know her tails were moving at all. She just knew that if she didn't get the reptile off her back somehow she'd end up getting hurt pretty quickly.

Already dazed and fumbling around, the added weight on her back made her stagger and seem to trip over her own paws. Her jaw slammed in to the floor, but she stumbled back to her feet, shaking herself to try to free herself of the Gallizar.

All the movement from the khimera made it hard to keep on top of the beast, a bit like a bucking bronco. Cursing Faye by hissing and clacking her teeth she tried to hold on, finding the khimera's metal plates as hand (er, claw?) holds for her. Led followed the Khimera's movements, somehow managing to keep up right.  Feeling at least a little more confident in herself she took this time to try and bite, tear and slash at the khimera. She just wanted this fight to end!

This thing wouldn't seem to let go. How could it actually grip on to something?! Most creatures had no thumbs to grip with, but... apparently this one's claws did just fine with doing so. Very dizzy from all the thrashing around, she fell over once again. This time she did not get up but instead decided to roll over, hoping that in doing so she would at least get Led off her back. Maybe she'd manage to knock her out too if she managed to roll on top of her.

Biting slashing clawing, what have you, it was a little too much for Led's balance and she tumbled off. She rolled a ways, standing up unsteadily a safer distance from the khimera who was, at the moment, also rolling just behind the gallizar. Surprised to have Faye right on her butt Led turned and jumped at what was, at the moment, exposed belly. She was getting to the point that she just wanted the fight to end, even if it was a loss to herself. This tournament wouldn't let her die, so said Moofius.

Finally it seemed as though she had managed to get Led off of her back. She still hadn't managed to get whatever it was to give up and leave her alone though. At this rate things were getting rather dangerous. If she didn't manage to get Led out soon it was possible that the creature really could do some damage to her.

Seeing Led now coming at her stomach, Faye kicked out with her legs in hope that she would knock the Gallizar back and get out of this place safely.

She felt her claws actually make contact and, not only that, actually cause damage. Her red claws came back... wait, blue?

Led didn't have much time to think about that as the khimera wasn't going to just lay down and take damage, she had to move. Huge paws tried to take her out so she back peddled out of range before quickly circling around to try and take Faye off guard. This fight was getting tiring and it took much more energy for Led to hit this khimera, only to get limited results.

No matter what she did it seemed like she was too slow to catch the Gallizar. Maybe.. maybe if she weren't so dizzy and confused this would be a lot easier. Then again, she probably wouldn't have even been there if she wasn't so dazed. She winced as something.. sort of like a prick could be felt from the creature scratching her.

Though she couldn't see Led coming at her from behind, Fay's tails lashed out in her direction. It seemed as though she could attack rather easily without really meaning to. The tails might have been just moving to move, but it seemed like they were aiming for Led in particular.

Well! This one battle had progressed for a long while, hadn't it? The Gallizar had hanged in there for a long time, but unfortunately, that Khimera proved too powerful. Well, what can you expect? Khimeras were made to kill, right? "That was a good match," Astrophel congratulated, modifying the screen board. "Moofius's Led will receive the prize of the 6th place, while Draiz's Faye will proceed to the next round."

But the next battle wouldn't get to start right away. Because of certain circumstances, the next battle would have to wait for a days later... "Enough excitement for now, I'm afraid. The next battle, between Freezair's Chariot and Kyarra's Yutaka will only start on December 28th." With that, he dismissed the remaining participants. "Stay on your toes!"

Yutaka was very nervous as he entered the arena. It was his very first time, he never had battled before. He was afraid to lose this fight but on the other hand Kyarra had signed him in to gain some fighting experience. Yutaka approached the center of the arena and waited for his opponent. The only thing that he knew about his opponent was that it was a horse-like creature, he had caught a glimpse at him earlier this day, but no idea how to fight against him. First of all he had to wait....

Finally! He'd waited so long for his chance to come to this stage, and here he was. This certainly looked like the scene of an epic confrontation. The lights were bright, and it was clean. This was a stage for sportsmanship. Now, he hoped, he'd find the perfect opponent.

Chariot trotted into the arena. His opponent, he saw, was a Merkuhna. But, like him, it was unusual--its colors were brilliant and blue. Chariot bowed to his opponent, closing his eyes in respect.

"May the best creature win," he said.
