Valentine didn't even bother finding more info from Kaiya. She'd gotten what she could and knew she could get no more. So she just followed loyaly, half listening to the larger canine.
After a while it stopped bugging her that she was completely lost as far as what was going on. Her tails started wagging again, and her pace changed to a happy trot. "Oh, no problem 'bout the tour." the Dalma responded to her friend's apology.
You may call, you may call
But the little black cats won't hear you.
The little black cats are maddened
By the bright green light of the moon;
They are whirling and running and hiding,
They are wild who were once so confiding,
They are crazed when the moon is riding
You will not catch the kittens soon.
They care not for saucers of milk,
They think not of pillows of silk;
Your softest, crooningest call
Is less than the buzzing of flies.
They are seeing more than you see,
They are hearing more than you hear,
And out of the darkness they peer.
With a goblin light in their eyes!

Kaiya blinked at how laid back this small dog was. "Are you serious? I mean, all the other animals I've ever tried to make friends with were always dissapointed. Stupid boys." She stuck her tongue out, and smiled thankfully at Valentine. "Com'ere!" She started, flicking her tails in the direction she galloped away. It was toward the playground, toward all the people.  She sucked in a deep breath, and the sparks on her back settled a bit. The only problem was, when she let it out, they would cause a huge electric shock to anyone that was unlucky enough to be petting her pelt. She dodged all the children, and shoved through all the play things, hoping the dalma was behind her.

Hard as hard as it can be
Holding on to what we believe
Accepting fact and realities
In the darkness of our soul
Strength is what we need
Hard to receive or to hold on
Waiting to disappear
In the ocean of your dreams
No matter how hard we try
It will always hunt us
You'll know that your dream is over
And your strength you will take with you
Achieving what you want and living free forever
