It was one of those dreadul days. Boredum was setting in. Penatrating everything with it's dark grey touch. Nothing was an esacpe from it. Infact there was doubt anything interesting would ever happen again.

How Emeline actually craved some company. Even Frederick would be bearable right now. His insufferable attitude and prissy mannerisms would seem fantastically interesting. He would actually be a break from the boredum. Strange as it was, Fredrick was usually a cause for boredom.

It was raining outside. Not the interesting light gentle rain. Or even the heavy thundery rain, This rain was just a simple damp rain. It was too wet to go out in, and too dry to be a proper storm.

Emeline lay on the sofa of her small apartment. Her long legs were crossed over in the air. A well worn book on her lap. It hadn't provided much respite from the boredum she was enduring.

Infact it hadn't even helped in the slightest. She knew the book far too well. It was one of Frederick's actually. Strange that she enjoyed to book to an extend. She and Frederick often didn't often agree on what made a good book.

Emeline got up with an irritated sigh. It was no use sitting here and expecting Frederick to call her. She'd have to go and find him.

[Mousen]

They'd fought again. They disagreed often. It wasn't like it had been anything big. As usual things had just spiralled out of control. It was only now Emeline realized she should appologise.

After a moment of hurried confusion Emeline had found her raincoat. She was now sifting through an over stuffed cuboard to find her umbrella. Items littered the floor. The young woman was losing her patience.

Finally her pale hands clasped around the handel of a battered umbrella. It was a tiny thing. Black in colour. It seemed to be very crumpled. Hopefully it would still open.

[Mousen]

After a small fight with the umbrella, it was declared a lost case. It's winner's podium the bin. As such Emeline was stuck with nimble feet and a raincoat. Hopefully she'd be fast enough to dodge the drops. If not her newly dyed hair was likely to stain the pale coloured rain coat.

She ran down the steps. Passing an elderly lady on the way. Emeline lived in a small apartment block in Adelect. It was a respectable place. Though very average.

Emeline's feet had taken her to the end of the dull corridor. It was a colourless place. Fake plants guarded every door. Beige lined the walls. The floor too was the same shade.

Barred windows gave the only light. A sea grass rug ran the length of the corridor. That too was as colourless as the walls and floor. Generic gold numbers were printed on each white door. It was a very boring place.

The old elavators took many minutes to arrive. As Emeline pressed the button to signal the darn thing she sighed. Knowing a long wait was ahead of her. Her eyes arted around in a bored fashion. Searching for something to distract herself with.

She tappedher fingers impatiently on the beige wall. Hoping that it wouldn't have another occupant that also needed dropping off. Emeline yawed. This was a real drag. How long was this really going to take?
