Armatas scowled as he stormed his way into the cafe where he was supposed to meet his "date". He hadn't signed up for this. He had a country to run, for god's sake. A ruler like him did not have time to go running around on dates, and he swore to the heavens that he would find and murder whoever was responsible for this. Unfortunately, he had no idea who could have put him into this situation. The only reason he came here to the site of the date was to see if he could find the person in question and wring their throat.

He looked pretty out of place among all the happy couples sitting around inside. Instead of everyday clothes, he was still in his royal attire, a brown and blue uniform with a dark cape, gloves, and boots. And as always, he kept his sword by his side -- a sight that unnerved some of the other customers as they passed him. He had no intention of drawing it...for now. Instead, he sat at one of the tables and folded his hands, glaring out the window with his one eye.

Black hoodie, blue jeans, and black converse. Did he look normal enough? Ghost and his phone rested in the pocked of his hoodie. Ütezi felt only a bit uncomfortable. He was quite out of his element going to a cafe. Not that he hadn't been to a cafe, but it had been years since he'd been on a 'date'. It seemed his lovely and foolish friends thought this would be a good way for him to fit in. Ütezi thought he fit in easily enough, despite his... condition. Although he was mostly normal, there were still hints of Oryx's power inside him. If he wasn't paying attention his body would twitch or jerk randomly. There was also the matter of his skin; it appeared to be normal, unless someone looked too carefully, they might be able to see blotchy patterns flitting about just under his skin.

He entered the cafe quietly, doing his best to draw as little attention as possible. There was just a heartbeat after his entrance that he took in his new surroundings. Taking in the placement of every table and person. As he passed by them he sized them up. There was no reason for him to, it was another side effect of his old life. Behind every pair of eyes there was an enemy waiting to strike, no one he could trust, but he wasn't in that place anymore. Ütezi made a conscious effort to look for his 'date', and not some fictitious threat.

Now that he was focused he could see his 'date'. The grumpy looking man with a sword. It was almost amusing how accurate the description was. Ütezi wondered what information the man had been given about him. He would have to ask. A beat of hesitation, and Ütezi walked up to the table.

"Is this seat taken?" he asked, smiling, and gestured to the chair opposite the man.

[Thunder]

Armatas was so absorbed in his thoughts of getting revenge for this date that he didn't notice the other man walking up to the table. Upon hearing the man's voice, his head jerked to face the direction of the sound, and his hand instinctively moved towards his sword. His single eye glared at the newcomer and took in the man's appearance. He didn't notice the strange things in the man's skin. Instead, Armatas focused on his clothes. This man was a commoner, from the looks of it. No self-respecting noble would ever dress so...simply.

"Are you the one who forced me into this damned arrangement?" the lord snarled. "Listen, I don't have time for dates, and I'm not interested in them. If you're the one who did this..."

A few of the guests sitting at nearby tables stared at him and slowly inched away. He tightened his grip around the sword's hilt. This wasn't the first time he had made a commotion in a public place, but quite frankly, he didn't care.

The man's hands went to his sword and Ütezi put his own hands up in surrender. Not exactly the reaction he had been expecting, but Ütezi couldn't say what he had really expected to happen. Certainly someone described as 'grumpy' and 'with sword' was going to react a little differently. After the initial shock wore off, he resolved to ease the man's hostility.

Ütezi flashed the man a grin. "I'll take that as a no, then," he said and sat down slowly. "I don't think anyone is forcing you to do anything," he added. "Although to get you here I imagine it took some dragging, and I assure you I had no part in that," he said.

"If you're so upset by the situation why come at all?" he wondered, trying to look relaxed. A difficult feat when he was being threatened with a sword. He was used to cutting down those who threatened him before they had the chance to get the upper hand, but that was apparently not how things worked here. What could he say, old habits died hard. For now he was inclined to let the man posture and complain.

[Thunder]

Armatas narrowed his eye. "I'm not inclined to believe you," he growled. "If you really had nothing to do with this, then you would not have approached this table."

Still, the lord's hand drifted away from his sword. This stranger seemed relatively unperturbed by his weapon, and he had to give that courage some respect. Most people, when they encountered Armatas, just ended up trembling in fear. That, and Armatas realized that if he did get thrown out of the cafe, he might lose his chance to get some information about the situation out of this man.

He crossed his arms and sighed. "To find out who planned this, obviously," he huffed in response to the question. "They must have a certain amount of intelligence on me to have done this, and that is unacceptable. For all I know, they could be my enemy, or an enemy of my country. Surely you must have some idea of who it might be."
