As Arcann said "After all, you'd walked into the room just as I was about to kill her," Senya and Xyshari returned, with Xyshari dressed in a black and gold dress that mirrored Lana's in design. Senya raised an eyebrow as she heard her son say this, but Xyshari shook her head as if to say it's all right; this is in the past now.

That was when Auberon came out on stage in his costume. Theron and Arcann in particular looked very critically at the costume, as though they were evaluating it in comparison to the costume that they had spent hours fabricating for Xyshari.

"...that is not a costume," Arcann said after what felt like an eternity, reaching for the lightsaber that was on his belt.

"Wait, Arcann," Senya said, placing a hand between her son's hand and his lightsaber. "I don't believe that would be the best course of action here. Commander?" she asked, turning her attention to Xyshari.

"I believe all of us have what these guards would deem 'relevant experience'," Xyshari said. "It's just a matter of what we want to do - help, or evacuate."

"What sort of a read are you all getting on the situation?" Theron asked. "You all are a bit better with that than I am." Lana gave a small nod, and she lowered her head, and Xyshari could feel her opening herself to the flow of the Force around them.

"...he has done nothing wrong other than appear as... that," Lana said after several moments. "However, the guards who are calling for people to evacuate or assist if they have relevant experience truly believe that he is a danger to everyone else here."

"So what do you recommend?" Theron asked, looking at Xyshari. The Jedi frowned as she looked from Theron, to Arcann, to Senya, and finally, to Lana.

"Well, the last time I was in a situation similar to this, Lana kept pushing for me to leave without trying to fix a situation, but I refused. I ended up getting slightly electrocuted at the end of it, and... what were your words, ra svet?"

"Damn your stubbornness," Lana said.

"Yes, damn my stubbornness," Xyshari said, looking around. The crowd was fast moving away from them, and the guards were moving closer. She glanced between Arcann, Senya, Theron, and finally, Lana, before nodding.

"Did you not hear us?" one of the guards snapped. "Please evacuate the area for your own--"

"We have the experience you seek," Xyshari said. "Please tell us how we can help."

The guards looked over the quintet with some measure of scrutiny. After a moment, however, one of them nodded and heaved a bit of a sigh.

"You don't look it, but you look like you'd intended to participate in the parade, so I can't really judge. Very well. Make sure that creature doesn't escape."

Xyshari nodded as the guards moved past them to continue their pursuit of the creature, and the evacuation of the civilians. She looked to her friends, pursing her lips slightly as she looked over both of them.

"How are we gonna tackle this thing, Commander?" Theron asked.

"Have your blaster set to stun, but we're gonna use that as a last resort. Remember, that... thing... appeared as a human before us when he offered to let one of us perform with him in the parade, so chances are that it's capable of speech. Perhaps it can be reasoned with," Xyshari said.

"And if it can't?" Lana asked.

"Then Theron attempts to stun it with his blaster. If that doesn't work, then we're on - a stasis field should be enough," Xyshari said.
