Once a grand cathedral dedicated to the Holy Triumvirate, all that remains now are ruins ever since the religion was rejected strongly in 1823. While the religion is back in favor, the cathedral was never restored. (+3 Defense, +2 Offense)

Hidden reasons ((Me and BlackFox))

Emerald, Female Venom Duraculi

Emerald walked slowly through the crumbling rooms of the cathedral. She didn't know why she was here. It wasn't like she ever got creeped out easy, but she could even admit that this place seemed a little creepy.
But something about a rune area... You could learn practically everything about them and there would still be some mystery about it. So for someone who liked to figure things out, this could end up an interesting place.
But right now it was a little boring. Even her quiet pawsteps managed to echo here, and there was no other signs of life. The whole place seemed to be in an eiry shadow, almost unnatural if you used your imagionation. But Emerald wasn't one for useing much imagionation.
You may call, you may call
But the little black cats won't hear you.
The little black cats are maddened
By the bright green light of the moon;
They are whirling and running and hiding,
They are wild who were once so confiding,
They are crazed when the moon is riding
You will not catch the kittens soon.
They care not for saucers of milk,
They think not of pillows of silk;
Your softest, crooningest call
Is less than the buzzing of flies.
They are seeing more than you see,
They are hearing more than you hear,
And out of the darkness they peer.
With a goblin light in their eyes!

Jenni, Female Concept Draculi

Jenni was bored, like always, leaping from stone to stone in the large ruins.  She loved this place. It fit her personality exactly. Nobody really knew much about her, and neither did anyone know much about here.
As she walked through the cold, silent ruins, thinking she was alone, she heard something, soft breathing, echoing footsteps...she stopped.Surely she was making it up, but no, the noise continued, getting louder and louder, and she knew she wasn't alone.

Emerald exited a large corridor, entering a room that was slightly smaller than the last she was in. A sound cought her ears. Nothing much really. The soft sound a slightly rough paw-pad makes when slid slightly acrossed a rough or sandy surface. Like that made catching oneself after a leap, or after halting after a sprint, or even walking slowly, paws not being lifted as high as they should be for stealth.
The duraculi glanced around. She wasn't afraid of t he noise, so there was no nervousnes in her reaction. She was simply curious. What would make that noise? Another animal was no where to be found. A flicker of movement was there, but not exactly a shape. Then again, even with her sharp, feline vision, it was hard to see exactly. She knew about this. There were a few creatures of this breed around the Meadow. The kind that seemed to barely be outlined as is, but in the shadows, they are a ripple in the rocks of the wall. They don't even seem real, but somehow are. Concept.

Jenni leapt into a somewhat small room, similar to the other; crumbled walls, cracked floors, a pile of stones that, at some point, may have been a column, or even a statue of some sort.
She had been following the sound of the foot steps, simply curious, of who else might be here. How odd, since she would normally avoid others at all costs, too shy and self-consious, others thinking of her as depressing or sad, not really showing much interest, exept Connor, but that's another story.  She had a strange feeling, which was also rare, considering she never felt, and when she did, she made sure she hid her feelings. A few seconds later, A movement cought her eye, and she heard the foot steps come to a stop, and when she looked across the room, a creaure had come through the other doorway, a draculi, just like her, except it was a Venom draculi, by the looks of it. Jenni was a Concept draculi, and sometimes she looked transparent or outlined. The other draculi hadnt noticed her yet, but as Jenni took a step forward, the draculi's eyes locked on her.

There was something there alright. Doubtlessly a concept. Instictively, Emerald took a step closer, squinting slightly trying to make out species. The shadows made it difficult.
"Whose there?" Emerald asked, taking another step closer.

A few seconds passed, and the Draculi stepped forward and spoke. "Whose there?" It asked. It didn't sound nervous. Actually, it sounded curious. "My name is Jenni. Who are you?"

The concept spoke, allowing Emerald a sound-based exaple of exactly where the duraculi was. Taking a few more steps in that direction, the venom answered. "I'm Emerald. Jenni? Your concept..." She was used to being called a MOTO, a word Knight had picked up somewhere meaning 'master of the obvious'. It was just her thinking outloud.
Emerald's eyes squinted a bit, still unable to fully make out the odd breed. "What species?"

After a few seconds, the draculi stepped forward. It obviously knew where Jenni was. Then it said, "I'm Emerald." Hmmm...Emerald...  "Nice name." Jenni said. "Yah, I'm concept... a Concept Draculi. Your, um, Venom, right? A draculi too, I presume?" How weird, thought Jenni. Normaly she would never see another creature here, especially not another draculi.  "Um, excuse me for asking, but what are you doing here?"

"Yes. A venom duraculi. As I am visiable, I am surpised you could not redily recognise your own species." Emerad answered. This other duraculi, Jenni she had called herself, was a curious thing to talk to. She seemed, almost uncaring. Well, well. Everything cared about something.
What was Emerald doing here? Now that she thought about it, she wasn't sure. The venom duraculi was intelligent. Many at the Meadow came to her or the biolune serraptor when they had questions. For her, it was mostly math or puzzles. That was enjoyable to her, but she could help on other subjects better than some. For the serraptor, it was mostly wisdom stuff. Advise or what not.
But sometimes she had to explore to find a new puzzle or equation to solve.
"I don't know. Perhaps just exploring. Surely this old place has intreging aspects and puzzles of its own sort." Was her answer.

Jenni sat down and scratched behid her ear with her front paw.  She never did feel comfortable scatching with her hind leg like the others. It just felt... wrong.  " Yeah, I like exploring here, too," she said. " It seems to be the only quiet place away from the field with all the yelling and roughhousing... so Emerald, found any 'intreging aspects' so far?"

Emerald sighed. "Not yet. But signs of some life seem to be here a bit. I don't know, but I think a species might've claimed this place as home. I think I've heard of them. Mekkayena. But for the most part, it feels like old rock. The quietness is quite comfortable though."
It was true. Dispite the echo and the cold lonelyness of the place, a creature like Emerald could find it quite comfortable here. Quiet, dark, and undisterbed.

"You're right. Quietness is nice," Jenni said .  She wondered if Emerald was always like this.  Happy with relaxing silence, surrounded by a puzzling place... did she maybe, have a past like Jenni did?  Most certianly not.  Still, she seemed to be someone Jenni could relate to.  While Jenni was thinking about this, she accidently said in a very blank voice,"What's a Mekkayena?"

After speaking, Jenni seemed to be thinking abit. Then she spoke up again asking about mekkayenas. "They are... Hm... I don't know how to describe them. A mechanical animal, kinda glitchy. Don't look much like anything else around here to relate them too. Appearantly sometimes people come here just to try to befriend one."
Truth be told, Emerald didn't see how befriending a glitchy robot or cyborg or what ever would help anyone, but she wouldn't say that aloud. Hate to have one listening and be insulted, more than when she pointed out glitchy. She heard they were pretty feirce fighters. Heh. Maybe that was the pro.
((If you go to the main page where you adopt pets and click 'wild creatures' on the side, you can find a mekkayena bio on that page.))

After hearing herself say something so blankly, Jenni blushed (and it is certainly a site to see when a transparent creature like a Concept blushes) and said,"Oh, wow.  I come here a lot and I usually see things like Temples and whatnot.  It would be quite interesting to see one of those!"  Mekkayena.  Where had she heard that before?  Of course, Jenni used to come here often when she was younger, so maybe in a warning or a legend...  She shook her head, not wanting to drift again and ask another question.  "Um.. I think I've heard of them, but I'm not quite sure."  Then, in a completely random change of subject, she said,"Do you come here often?"

The consept seemed to be embarrassed or uncomfortable with something. Emerald wasn't sure what. And didn't care by the time the subject was changed. "Often? No. I've been here maybe once before, but I tend to stay the Meadow for the most part."
