Once a grand cathedral dedicated to the Holy Triumvirate, all that remains now are ruins ever since the religion was rejected strongly in 1823. While the religion is back in favor, the cathedral was never restored. (+3 Defense, +2 Offense)

Meadow, thought Jenni.  "You mean, like a zoo pen?"  She obviously knew the answer, for this pet was so healthy and well taken care of that it couldn't be from here.  "I come from Fox Fields."  This was only half lie, for Jenni had been living there for a good many years, but still didn't- couldn't- wouldn't, count it as her home.  "Fox takes care of the creatures there, but I have to help clean up the mess when others fight."  Oops, didn't mean to sound whiney, thought Jenni.  Hope she didn't catch that.  Jenni blushed again, which comepletely surprised her, since it was so out of character.  She pawed the ground a little, because it was getting a little boring just standing there.

((Sorry its taken so long))
It sounded like the consept durculi saw herself as in charge of the place she stayed or the most mature. Emerald knew how that felt sometimes, but there were plenty with some mind in them to keep others in line where she was.
"Yeah. The Meadow's what we call where we live. I wouldn't call it a zoo pen though. Some live behind bars in a zoo, others live in houses and civilization, and still others live in wild meadows and forests."
Frankly, she was quite happy with where she lived, but she had to travel quite far to get to any place interesting, like ruins or such. And a house with some actual electricity wouldn't hurt on occasion.
You may call, you may call
But the little black cats won't hear you.
The little black cats are maddened
By the bright green light of the moon;
They are whirling and running and hiding,
They are wild who were once so confiding,
They are crazed when the moon is riding
You will not catch the kittens soon.
They care not for saucers of milk,
They think not of pillows of silk;
Your softest, crooningest call
Is less than the buzzing of flies.
They are seeing more than you see,
They are hearing more than you hear,
And out of the darkness they peer.
With a goblin light in their eyes!

"Oh!  Yes, of course.  Same with the Fox Fields,  it takes so long to get to places like this, the Fields being so large.  All under care of Fox, though, as you might guess, Fox can only walk or fly so far to check on everyone, and other than that, we must get our own food.  No cages, of course.  As Fox always says, 'The best kind of zoo pen is one without pens',"  Jenni said.  "So, do you wanna come with me to explore the rest of the Cathedral?"

Emerald nodded. And motioned to walk on, though the venom duraculi seemed to instictively take the lead as they walked through the ancient hallways.
Normally Emerald wasn't much of a talker, but she found it so mulch easiar when it was with her own species. And this was another duraculi. And this consept seemed more open than she first let on to be. Perhaps it was something in thier whole species, and not just Emerald. Not that many of the duraculi's around the Meadow were much to talk to. Sai wouldn't say a word, infact Emerald couldn't even remember how they knew her name. And she couldn't remember the name of the shy little temple. And Gale, their own concept, was just bitter and goth and kinda annoyingly depressing sometimes.
"We're mostly under care of Knight and Flame." Emerald explained after a long pause. "They don't really 'take care of us' per say, as we all come from different back grounds and are quite independant or have certain friends, family, or such that we depend on, so for the most part, they just kinda act like leaders to keep us from killing each other. And that seems like a tough job knowing some of the mix. I prefur to stay out of it when I can."

As Jenni and the Venom Draculi named Emerald  walked down what looked like a hallway,  Jenni said,"Yah, Shelennia and Fox mostly take care of us, but just as you had said, we have certain friends and family that we depend on.  I, on the other hand, have no family, but never mind that.  Fox usually only heals us if we are sick, like the time Catrina threw up and said, 'Oh, Fox please help me!  I think I'm dying!'  Of course, it wasn't true, she had just accepted a gift from her 'secret admirer', which was some kind of poisinous mushroom thing sent by Redd and Leo."  Jenni laughed a little, remembering the look on Catrina's face when she threw-up.  "Good times...  Oh!  Sorry.  I'm not meaning to babble, and I'm usually not this talkative.  Hope I'm not boring you."  Soon they came to the end of the hall, and in front of them was a door that, despite its age, had remained completely intact.  "Well, I've never seen this before.  Want to go in?"  Jenni asked, looking at Emerald.

Emerald listened as the consept babbled. It was getting irritating, but the venom didn't dare say a thing. And on the bright side, it helped her know where the nearly invisible being was.
Before long they came acrossed a door. Intact, and quite pretty. Odd to see in such ruins, and instatnly a hundred questions about it came into the mind of the self-proclaimed mathmatition and puzzle solver.
Then the concept voiced the question. Want to go in?
"If we can open it without collapsing the place, than I'm game." Emerald answered, instantly analyzing the visable state of the structure around it to gauge their chances. The wall seemed almost as sturdy as the door, so they probably wouldn't die.

Before even looking if it was safe, Jenni went right up to the door and nudged it.  Of course, she didn't expect it to open, it was just her way of seeing if it wouls fall down.  It didn't though, it actually didn't budge.  Jenni sniffed the crack at the bottom; a little trick she learned  from Slii back at the field to see if there was any danger on the other side.  She stepped back almost immeadiately, and, between coughs, said,"Aack, it smells terrible."  She seemed to be completely reluctant to try to go further, but then, quite unepectadly said,"I'm gonna try to open it."  She went up to it and pushed, but nothing happened.  She tried again, harder this time, but, like the last time, it did not move.  Then, taking a few stepps back,  ran up and slammed into it.  It moved a little, but mostly all she got out of that was a few chunks that fell from the ceiling.  "Mabye it's locked,"  someone said sarcastically.  Jenni could have sworn it was the Duraculi Emerald, since no one else was there, but she couldn't be quite sure.  It didn't sound like her.  What did occur to her though, that it actually might be locked.  She stood on her hind legs to reach the keyhole, and pulled out a claw to pick the lock.  Another useful trick from Slii.  After a few minutes of twisting and turning,  she finally heard a loud ker-CHUNK that told her it was open.  She then pushed open the door, revealing what was inside.

Emerald wrinkled her nose at the scent as the door came open. It hadn't taken the wall down, but the bits of the ceiling that feel make her nervous. And the smell. It smelled like... like... death or something. Something she tried to avoid getting to know well enough to recognized the scent, but was stuck with the universal knowledge anyway. It was dark in the room. Emerald blinked, trying to adjust to the dim light.

Ignatius, Male Velix

Foot steps skittered down the hall, along with a robot squeal as each joint moved. One leg seemed to be slightly off, as though there was something slightly wrong with the robot. It didn't seem to work correctly. A small envelope was in his metallic jaws.
The odd creature made a small clicking sound with delight as the two duraculis came into veiw.
Emerald instantly turned to look. "Ah, Iggy. Right on time. And what do you have there? Oh well. Do you think you can hold onto it till we get back home? And can you give us some light.
As glitchy as he was, the Velix still had the super-army knife accessories as his type, so he managed to summon a light-giving device from his number of contraptions and shone it into the newly opened room.
((Just had to add this little guy in as he was just sorted into my pen as Emerald's little helper and most long-going project. ^.^))

"Oh, how cute!"  Jenni said.  Glichy or not, you had to admit, this lil' fella was adorable.  As for the room, now that it was better lit,  was quite a sight to see.  It seemed to be a room most used for religion.  It was long and narrow, though much larger that the hallway.  All along the walls were what seemed to be candles, though most of them were disinegrated or melted.  There were long benches, like those in a chapel, set up and down the room.  Each one was very beautiful, or atleast they were, for the wooden fixture on them was a mess of termite damage and the cushions-if any,- were covered in dirt and spotted with moth holes.  A couple near the middle had been crushed where what looked like an antique chandelier had fallen from the ceiling.  "Whoo,"  said Jenni.  "Age certainly did a number on this place!"  All of a sudden, near the end of the room that was still dim since they were not as close to it, came a loud rumble.  Something seemed to be moving, like getting up after a long time of slumber.  "W-what is that?!"  It only came out as a hoarse whisper.  Jenni was too scared to move, though everything was telling her to get back through the door.  She had to get a glimpse of it- that was all her mind was thinking.  "E- Emerald?"  She stuttered.  Now there was moaning, which was so loud that it seemed to shake the ruins.  All of a sudden, fear left her, and, forgetting that rhyme that every three-year old in the world is bound to know: Curiosity Killed the Cat, her curious mind that was probably about to get her killed took over and she took a step further into the room.

The room was grand, all right. A sanctuary for some gathering. One who cared  much about what they had been teaching, she could tell by the intricate designs on everything still visible.
Her imagination wondered, forming a picture of what this area may have once looked like in it's prime. Truly a sight to behold. The Venom duraculi wished she could've actually seen it there. "Wow..." She mumbled.
Ignatius chirped happily in reply, and she looked at him oddly. "I swear." She told him, "When we get back to the Meadow I will set to work on fixing you're speech programming."
He nodded in reply, but then was distracted. His unblinking stare turned to the far end of the room. Just then the rumble started.
Emerald, in all of her factual knowledge had no idea about what this may've been. Earthquake? The walls just coming down on them due to age? Something about it seemed much to living.
The concept mumbled her name, and then proceeded to step toward the sound, barely in the dim light.
"What are you doing?!" Emerald asked, running right infront of the concept. "Turn around, now! We must get out!" Then she turned to the small robot. "Iggy, keep the light but watch our backs."

All of a sudden, Jenni came to her senses.  "R-right.  Door.  Monster."  She whirled around and sped for the door.  What had she been thinking?  It was almost as if the thing was... hypnotizing her or something.  Looking back to make sure Emerald and Iggy were out, she shut the door and said,"I don't think I have time to lock it, and I don't think it will do us much good, either.  Come on."  So, she, Emerald, and Iggy, the creaky robot, ran back down the hall and rounded the corner just as the large door was blown open and burst into splinters.  "What do we do?!  What do we do?!"  Was all Jenni could say.  If they ran into the next room, which was the room in which they both first met,  They might have a chance to get through the door at the other end before the creature caught up with them.  It most certainly would, since it was obviously larger and very angry with them for waking it up.  They heard a terrifying roar, and many more peices of the ceiling fell down.  Nervously, Jenni, Iggy, and Emerald sprinted for the door.

((Then why ya keep trying to buy more? XD))
It was an endless maze now. She'd been too relaxed to think about memorizing the blue print as she walked these halls. Surely, she had thought, it had been abandoned many, many years. Why would a ravaging creature just now appear and be woken up after so long by two young duraculis and a robot? Haven't people, even professional explorers, scoured these halls before? Why couldn't they have awoken it. Why save the trouble for Emerald and friends?
Now the venom duraculi was wishing she was back home, in her little corner of the cave with old equations scratched into the wall, and a half solved one in the dirt. Random artifacts from various people and places strewn around her, each holding a secret for her to uncover. Yep, and Iggy helping with what he could do.
The robot now, was keeping good pace with the duraculis, despite his odd, damaged gait. The thing is, he didn't seem to scared. More of just it was in his programming to run from giant monsters. Programming that was obeyed despite the situation.
Before long, they were back in the room the adventure had started. There was a door at the other end, but, as she had came that way to begin with, Emerald knew it only led to more halls. Still it was somewhere to go, and she made a dash for it, Iggy still right with her.

"Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to go into the locked room.  Why else would it be  locked?"  Jenni had gotten to the end of the room with emerald, and it led on to more hallways.  Trying to remember which way she had come when she entered the Cathedral, she scrambled down one of the hallways,  rounded the corner, and went through the door to find- a dead end.  Hearing the loud tromping of the creature as it came after them, they darted to the far wall where there was a pile of stones where a section of the wall near the top had fallen down.  Jenni began climbing, and, though the loose stones made it hard, she made it to the top with Emerald and Iggy.  They were not quite on the roof, because there was what seemed to be another floor, not quite as large, that was like an attic; used for storage and such.  There was light shining through here and there, dotting rotten wooden boxes and places where the ceiling had caved in.  "Jenni, after making sure she wouldn't fall through, sat down to rest.  "Do you know what's wierd?"  She asked thoughtfully.  "That room we found the creature in, it had no sun.  The chandelier fell, but the roof didn't.  The walls didn't crumble,  and it was a large room.  Every single room that I've explored were either a pile if rubble or had holes in them.  Not that one, though.  Huh."   She thought, listening to the loud sound of the creatures steps.  She looked at Emerald and said,"There really is something off about those footsteps.  It kinda sounds... I don't know.  It's just not normal.  What do you think?"  She paused.  The banging stopped.  The creature stopped moving.  Something was wrong.  All was silent.

They reached the odd storage area. Light was streaming down eirily now, and the footsteps were getting closer. It wasn't Emerald's nature to panic at times like this, but somewhere in the back of her head, she was scared at the thought of what they had gotten themselves into.
Jenni was going off on some rant about no light in the locked room. She was bringing up an interesting point all right, but Emerald was only half listening. Iggy, on the other hand, was listening and nodding, though Emerald couldn't help but wonder if the little guy even understood what she was explaining. Or maybe Emerald was over thinking it like she tended to.
Soon, the footsteps stopped. Iggy made a surprised churring sound. Uh oh. Emerald noted this may just be a problem. A calm before the storm.

"What's going on?"  Jenni whispered.  "Has it stopped?  Given up?  Left?"  She looked around them, but all was calm.  Quiet.  Peacef-  BOOM!!!   It seemed to be an explosion far to their left, though it wasn't really, the creature just blew off a whole section of the ceiling.  They could hear scraping, like it was trying to claw it's way up there, but hadn't found a pile of stones to climb on like them.  "C'mon.  No time to lose.  Let's go, uh, that way!"  As Jenni said this, she led the way opposite of where the creature was clawing it's way up.  She had to paw her way around to make sure that the ceiling wouldn't cave in.  A couple times her foot fell through the ceiling, once making her almost trip, and she had to pull it out so they could move faster.  The slower they went, the more scared she became.  "Emerald, is it up yet?"  She asked shakily, too scared to look back.  Just then, she stepped in the wrong place (again), but this time went tumbling to the floor.  When the dust cleared, she called out,"Emerald?  Iggy?  You up there?  *cough cough*"  She shook her head and looked around where she had just fallen.  "Uh, Emerald?  I think you may want to look at this..."
